I have had good luck with Nikes at this location (near the Walmart & PetSmart in Springfield).
No issues so far — prices are on par with Famous Footwear and higher prices than crappy payless (I hate that store!).
I tend to come to chain stores for my kids shoes (my kid wears ladies sizes).
This DSW location is just fine for now.

Gee, thanks for the «customer service» DSW. Brought my 13yr old boys to an actual shoe store for help getting the right size & fit as their feet have been growing rapidly. After trying on 3−4pr each and the sales guy walking past us numerous times, I asked if he has a foot sizer and could help them. He says sure but comes back, hands the foot sizer to my son and keeps walking. Yep, huge help. Thanks for nothing. We could’ve done that at Walmart. Only about 10 people in the whole store and some may have been other employees so they clearly weren’t busy. I went in there prepared to spend $ 150 – 200 on shoes and didn’t buy a thing because that sales person couldn’t be bothered to help us.

This DSW is pretty decent. Not only do they have your expected shoe selection, but they have quite a large handbag and jewelry area as well. You’ll leave this place pretty broke, that’s for sure.

Miss Sarit and I stopped by here — Those who know me know that I am a huge shoe fanatic («shoe whore» has been utilized in the past.)
They have shoes for days at prices that are usually semi-​reasonable. Where it’s at is the clearance racks. Being a size 12 – 13 I suppose they don’t always sell all of them out, so I can always find a good deal on some Steve Madden oxfords, Calvin Klein or Stacy Adams wingtips for around 30 $. Add on the 10 $ and 5 $ coupons DSW always sends and you can get these for a steal! (Bear in mind you’re still paying 20 – 30 $ for 50 cents of rubber and plastic.)
The cashier at the front was very friendly and honored an outdated coupon I had in my email (only by 2 days) even after the transaction without batting an eye she issued a refund for 5 $.

I LOVE DSW!
I love the selection of designer shoes at competitive prices. I really like the constantly changing inventory. Every time I visit there are some new shoes out I did not see before. I also have shopped online on
. Great customer service.
Also, the lowest prices I have seen for LeSportSac bags. Have to have good timing to find the styles you want, but it’s always worth it :). I am giving this 4 stars because it is not the best DSW location (KOP is much larger).
