Baskin-Robbins

This location could use a rehab, their freezer was out of order so it was really difficult to determine if they had the chocolate roll cake we were looking for. After the staff spent some time looking through the freezer in the back they finally located the one we were looking for, although we think it may have been ordered by someone else. In closing, the service we got from the staff was great and so was the roll cake… we recommend this location.

As a kid growing up in Michigan, my parents would always treat me to Baskin-​Robbins as a reward for good grades, good behavior, etc. This place is a part of my childhood and, even though other ice cream places have opened up, this is still my favorite. I can say that I have tried every flavor of Baskin Robbins ice cream and I like all of them. However, there are a few that I absolutely love.
On my way to playing pool on Tuesdays in Springfield, I always pass by this Baskin-​Robbins and I can’t resist the impulse to get ice cream there every week. This place is pretty popular, I always see people eating on the bench outside or inside on the tables. The service is great and very easy to talk to.
Every time I go to Baskin-​Robbins I have to sample around 10 different flavors before I pick one to have a single scoop cone. The employees working here do not mind at all and actually give pretty substantial helpings of the samples! Can’t complain about that. Finally, I get to my selections. My personal favorite flavors are (in order): Baseball nut, Pralines & cream, Pistachio Almond, and Strawberry cheesecake. I have had these so many times and I am still not tired of them! These excellent flavors and the great service deserve 5 stars.
I’ll also share a funny story about my experience here. I ordered baseball nut in a cone and was holding it in one hand. With the other hand, I was fishing in my pocket for my wallet. As I got my wallet, I looked up and noticed that my scoop was right about to fall off the cone. I dropped my wallet on the floor and caught the ice cream in my hand before it fell. The girl at the register could not stop laughing and I was pretty happy with my reflexes for catching the ice cream. She gave me a cup to put the «rescued» ice cream into and thanked me for the great laugh.
Did you notice here that my scoop of ice cream (valued ~ $ 3) was more important to me in the moment than my wallet? I think I might have a problem.

My family and I went there while away for the Memorial Day weekend. It was the only place we could find to get some ice cream. I wish I had known that I needed to take out a small loan before going there. It was four of us and our ticket total was $ 30. Come to think of it… I don’t remember getting any gold sprinkles on my sundae. To make things worse, they are skimpy with the toppings. There is definite greed going on in this Baskin-​Robbins location. You would at least hope that customer service would be worth the money spent but it wasn’t. May I suggest that you lower your prices and take a customer relations course. It’s ice cream, not a t-​bone steak!

This was my first baskin-​robbins experience. I am sold on the concept of their crazy, premium flavors. Love potion #31 is a good flavor.

Very disappointed. No public restaurant in site and less flavors than we are used to.

There’s nothing special or anything that differentiates this BR from others, other than the fact that this is the BR I went to growing up, my love for BR and ice cream started here. Haven’t been to this location in forever but I’ve heard it’s become kind of sketch there, maybe because it’s in Springfield, who knows! Whatever. I love ice cream!
Have always been and always will be a fan of the strawberry shortcake. Other than that, I went through a banana split phase in my life and can’t complain about theirs. Rocky Road and mint chocolate chip are pretty delish too. Loved getting ice cream cake from here on my birthday too. And just how cute are those little clown ice cream cups? Had those for my class… when I was in pre-​school!
