Popeyes

After a long morning i stumbled into this popeyes basically wanting anything.
I had yet to have their $ 5 box so this was interesting to see how it would fare with someone who was starving. Lol.
I ordered the chicken strips meal and it came with 2 sides and a soda. i can honestly say it was very filling and good.
The food tasted very fresh it was handed to me very promptly.
I can see myself ordering that meal again.

Chicken has always been great
Very fresh and well done for every time I came here. I was never disappointed at any point. Lines move fast and no longer waiting.

3 stars because they have a good attitude, however check your bag before you leave, I ordered shrimp and fish combo with rice and beans, also pumpkin pie, I didn’t receive spoon, and napkins also they gave me shrimp only, and the pie was chocolate. it’s very busy and the tall black guy manager is lost he confuses the cashier. to top it off after I ate everything I end up have to shit it out– I had to take mylanta cause I had the Hershey squirts!!!

I only come here because it’s close by my house other than that Lines are always long. Parking is too small because it’s being shared with other store fronts. And the sitting area is too small as well. There food is aiiiight could be better.
Also check your food before you leave because I witnessed a fight in progress over the wrong order of chicken. Chicken! C’mon people it’s just Food.

The customer service here at this Popeyes was one from hell. The so called Manager «Noufou» actually called the cops on me after I brought back the chicken I bought there that was spoiled. I went in with a very cool demeanor and asked him to refund my money for the chicken. I had just purchased $ 25 worth of food and within 10 mins I brought it back because the chicken was bad. He refused to give me my money back and after about 40 mins of fighting with me he said he would give me «new» chicken which I didn’t initially agree to because he wanted to give me 9 pieces of chicken which after myself, my son and my husband ate one piece each (I bought a 12 piece) he told me to bring back the other 3 pieces, which I already threw in the garbage because we realized they were bad, then he would give me 12 pieces. I could not believe he escalated this situation into having the cops come (after an hr of waiting because at this point he would not give me any chicken nor my money so I would not leave). The cops had him give me the chicken, only 9 pieces, because he refused to give me a refund nor the 12 pieces… The cops thought it was very much poor customer service and suggested I speak to upper management. At this point I have reported him to the higher management and refuse to go back there. He also refused to give me a sauce that I wanted and had me pay 25 cents for it. My son had also eaten some of the fries that I brought back in the bag, I had brought a large fry, he refused to give me a full box of fries because that was what I brought back… talk about POOR customer service, I don’t know where else you would get treated like this. On that note, after bringing the chicken home, I threw it out because only God knows what would have been in my chicken.

This Popeye’s is located in a fairly new shopping center, that was DESPERATELY needed, on the corner of Springfield Blvd. + the North Conduit in Springfield Gardens, Queens. Any chicken fan worth their name knows the difference between KFC + Popeye’s. They’re both good, but they’re definitely different. This Popeyes is X-cellent…oh so Yummy! Service is good, but if u plan on dining in, u might want 2 re-​think. Space is SEVERELY limited @this location. ‘Tis better 2 order «2 go». In my humble opinion their biscuits r better than KFC’s + their chicken is borderline addictive.
They have a decent selection of «sweet tea» beverages + a selection of pre-​packaged pie slices 4 dessert {similar 2 Burger King}.

Not much seating. But new store design. The chicken was nicely seasoned. We got a really nice guy that took our order and the place was clean. Surprisingly no rest rooms. Where do you wash your hands after handling the chicken? I should take a star off for that… but the chicken was sublime.
