Great food! Ordered from the Mexican options — homemade salsa was good. I opted for a drink from the bar, which they served in the restaurant. Classic country music soundtrack in the background of an authentic small town restaurant. You can have Subway, Popeyes, Etc anytime. I love supporting small businesses anytime and this one deserves a visit!

After a long day of travel, we walked up here from our hotel. Food «hit the spot». We got there before 4:30 so not sure if there is a dinner rush or not. Hope to stop in next time we’re in the area

Staff is very friendly. Food is delicious. I absolutely love their breakfasts. Green chile hash browns and coffee are definitely my favorite. I live nearby, so I eat there often. They make you feel right at home there. Coffee is the best I’ve ever tasted.

The service was somewhat lacking this last visit, and the beer selection is dreadful; but the food was still excellent. I always get the pork chops as they are excellent, as is the brown gravy, mash, carrots and applesauce that comes with them. A friend got the chicken fried steak and it was HUGE. We all enjoyed our meals, hoping they get some real beer available and the service levels improve again. Can’t beat it for the price!

Went for the Friday Fish fry. Yum is all I can say. Had the catfish AND the Alaskan cod. So good. Cowboys beans and coleslaw great too!

We were passing through and had a delightful and delicious meal here! The staff was very sweet and the sandwiches were perfect. Do yourself a favor and order the apple pie a la mode (perfectly flaky)! Definitely will be stopping back here on our way back!

The best I can say is the dining room was clean. Both my mom and I were sick within 30 minutes after eating. I spent hours tossing my cookies (kindest way I could phrase it). I was extremely concerned I would not make my flight the following morning. I am only in Srpingerville 2 – 3 times/​year but will never eat at Safire again.

After a spate of Midwest diner fare, we arrived here on a cold Sunday night. At the waitress’ suggestion I had the Ortega burger. OMG!
The burger was really good with Lots of chiles and cheese etc. But the fries were covered with green chile sauce and cheddar cheese. The combination is Killer!

We were disappointed. Monday was Mexican day and 2 of us ordered specials. The chips were stale and even when we asked for fresh they were the same. Sadly the same was true of the taco shells and wife had to scoop out the filling to eat the meal.

Great to stop for fast friendly service and fresh food. Salad bar was crisp and good. Burgers and round steak were flame kissed. Fried chicken was juicy and and perfect topping for a satisfying Cobb salad. Great oasis on the road to Flagstaff.

This is where I eat everytime I go to Eagar/​Springervile. It is truly like eating in your own home. The servers are wonderful and the food very good. The prices are extremely reasonable. Now I’m spoiled so I don’t go anywhere else when I’m in town.
