We were in Greer for the weekend and ventured to Springerville for dinner one night. There wasn’t a whole lot to choose from restaurant wise but all of the locals told us that Booga Red’s was the place to go! The food was ok, but the service was definitely 5 stars!!! They were SO nice and accommodating. I ordered the chicken club and it had a ton of avocado which won my heart right off of the bat! It came with the wavy fries that you can buy in the freezer section at the grocery store which was kind of eh, but hey, I must admit that I love ANY kind of fries! My fiancé had the meatloaf special and said that it was decent. I did LOVE their ranch! :) Thank you for the excellent service, Booga Red’s! It was a pleasure dining with you. If you’re stopping through Springerville and need a bite, I would recommend stopping in!

So we were riding the Devil’s Highway on our motorcycles and stopped here in the middle of a down pour to dry off and get something to eat. There was 5 of us so we ask if we could sit in the larger dinning room. They said yes. The food was OK at best. The service was extremely slow. 3 of us ordered coffee and when they brought it out to us, it was cold. Will try somewhere else next time.

Excellent food. Authentic Mexican food. Clean and staff is very friendly! My suggestion is the shredded beef tacos & shredded beef enchiladas with red chili sauce!

The service was good, but the food was not. The taco meat was essentially a chopped up hamburger patty with no taco seasoning in it whatsoever. Very bland and non-​Mexican.
The margaritas were wonderful!

I used to eat here once a week, but now that I’ve retired and I live 50 miles away, I hadn’t eaten here in a couple of yrs.
I was really looking forward to the chimichanga, my favorite, and it’s just as good as ever. I prefer beef, with green chili, naturally from Hatch county. It is as good as I remembered it. Wife, who usually sticks to a single taco (I know, she’s tiny), decided to chimi with me, and all she could say was how right I was. It’s really all about the best green chili in the world, from Hatch, and perfectly seasoned guacamole.
I’m always amazed by tourists from the east who consider themselves experts on Mexican food. There is so much more to learn from the southwest, hopefully they will appreciate our best restaurants in time.
5 stars all day long.

We stopped here for lunch passing through. The place was very clean and the employees friendly, Lunch was tasty and came to us quickly. A nice place to stop for a meal.
