My partner and I come here about twice a month for lunch. I’ve noticed within the last couple of months the food tastes different. I used to love the fried rice and now it tastes strange. I feel like they are using a different oil or something. The broth doesn’t taste quite the same either. I also ordered the teriyaki chicken and it felt like I was eating rubber.
We really like the staff and the customer service is great, but unfortunately I don’t think we will be back. I gave them my two chances to redeem themselves. Maybe it’s because we don’t do hibachi just regular, but for $ 15 I want to make sure I’m enjoying my lunch.

For people who are looking for authentic Asian food, I wouldn’t recommend this. To me this restaurant tastes a bit too ordinary. I know that my non-​Asian friends do enjoy this place more than I do but I would never mind going with them. But I understand that they are simply trying to appeal to all their customers. However, I just think their food is a bit too overpriced. I also feel like I’ve tasted better sushi for a much cheaper price. Their hibachi show is also ordinary, definitely been somewhere with more tricks.

A lot of really good sushi options! I love coming here! I usually get the vegetarian roll myself – which is delicious if you’re not super into raw fish. But every roll I’ve tried is crazy good, and I’m not usually a huge fan of sushi! They have a ton of options and all quite reasonably priced.

Really good hibachi grill. Good service. The cooked sushi is pretty good, but the raw sushi isn’t up to par with other houston restaurants. Shrimp and steak hibachi are probably the best options.

The food is good. Used to be better but is got «cheaper». The shrimp is smaller than use to be. The sushi is beautifully displayed and tasty however the tuna and salmon seem low grade and not fresh like other sushi places. Wine is served in a tiny glass. The best is the bartender he is fantastic and very friendly. He is very welcoming. The waitress we had i think her name is danielle, was very friendly and attentative. I would highly recommend this place over the others based on service alone.

I absolutely love this place. It can be pricey, but if you go during lunch, it’s much more affordable. The service is always great as they are very attentive. We love the hibachi, although it would be cool if they ever changed up the show a little bit. The food is always amazing. This is one of my very favorite restaurants.

Came here after purchasing a groupon, which was a great deal! The chefs were a lot of fun and we didn’t wait long at all for anything.
I had ordered only shrimp with the rice and vegetables and I thought it was terrible. The shrimp that is. It had that frozen flavor to it, and they were tough. Rice and veggies were delishhhhh though!

Went there for Lunch the staff were very friendly however the food was very below average. The rice was very undercooked and the rest of the food was average. Enjoy Japanese food and this is probably the worst i have tasted.

My friend took me out to dinner. This is her favorite sushi restaurant. When we arrived they asked hibachi or regular. We went with regular. Our server was nice and friendly. The menu had appetizer, hand rolls, sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, traditional, hibachi, kids meals, desserts, drinks, and a wine menu. Like the other Unilocalers mentioned before there are no happy hour here.
After a few minutes I ordered a Hurricane Roll. My friend ordered Hibachi Steak, Rainbow Roll, Flounder & Fatty Tuna nigiris. When our food came out it was quick! The Rainbow Roll came out first. Honestly the pieces were cut too big. I’m not the type to cut the sushi piece in half. Just one piece was covering my mouth overstuff mouthful. No laughing during this time or food would have flown out of our mouth. The nigiris came next. We tried something new, but it was not impressive. It wasn’t as fresh as we thought. Then the Hurricane Roll came out. The roll tasted like fried potato! This was surprisingly good. By then we were getting full and I forgot she also ordered the hibachi steak.
The hibachi steak was cut into bite sides and cooked to medium. The stir fry sauce was delicious and well seasoned. The vegetables on the side was good too. My friend loved her rainbow roll so much she order one to go. And take all the leftovers too! I had a fun time with her.

Came here for my daughters 7th birthday. Took about a minute for us to be greeted but the way the restaurant is set up I can see why.
Orders were taken promptly, drinks were received and constantly refilled without asking. Food was very good! Chef was entertaining as well. They did a nice birthday celebration for my daughter as well!

I had sushi here. Since it had good reviews I decided to give it a try. I’m a sushi lover. I can tell you that this was not great sushi, the rice did not seem to be freshly made. The price is pretty good, and other dishes migh be worth trying (just not the sushi)

I came here for lunch the other day and it wasn’t the same. I ordered the calamari lunch. The fried rice wasn’t as good as I remembered and there was hardly any calamari on my plate. The calamari was also «mushy» and fishy tasting. I normally love coming here for their lunch hibachi but it just didn’t taste the same as I was expecting it to taste. :(we were a little disappointed. I’ll give it a try again another day, hopefully it will taste as how I always remember it tasting. I love the manager there, he always comes out of his way to say hello, great staff!

The service and atmosphere are excellent, perfect for relaxation. The Sushi is full of flavor and has the finest quality of ingredients we have ever had. There is a huge selection and they have the menu arranged in the most informative and helpful way. The waitresses are so knowledgeable and really attentive to your needs. It is the perfect Sushi restaurant. We have evaluated several places now and agree, fully that this is the Winner…

What? No happy hour specials while everybody else in the world is in on it? You’re out of the ring bud. Well, the food, ambience and service kind of made up for it and the plum saki as well.
The menu has a pretty good selection of your staple Sushi that you are used to seeing as well as a few «legends» on the side denoting if they are a cooked item or raw for those of us that are not experts in our selection.
Behind a wall or section to the side is the Hibachi Grill where you get to see the guys behind there preparing your food grill fashion. If you can’t find it wait to hear the train horn they blow once in a while.
Parking is shared with other businesses but there is still plenty of spaces.
The service is well kept. You not only have one person but they share the patrons as team work so you never have a lonely moment. }:{

This restaurant is nestled in a strip center right off of Sawdust Road. You’ll see a Walgreens, Game Preserve and a Fed Ex business which will lead you there.
They do not have a happy hour so this would not be my first choice but the food, service and the plum saki makes up for all of that for me.
The placement of the food that comes out to you is not on the top of the 10 list but it’s way better than you will ever see on a buffet, and delicious! I remember having the dragon roll which was a decent amount for what you pay. You might have to ask for some Wasabi on the side since I don’t believe it was on the plate.
Service here is teamwork. You will hardly ever have to wait to get a refill and don’t forget to try the plum saki.
There are usually two guys in the back at the Hibachi Grill which is on my list to try on my next visit.
The parking for this business is plenty… if you don’t park up front. This place can be found about a light down from I 45 freeway.

Where was the service? I do realize it was Sunday but I came in two hours before closing, guess everyone mentally closed down. The non-​smoking side seemed to be the forgotten corner, and when it was attended to, you might as well just helped yourself, it was like talking to a wall, a drone, someone that seriously doesn’t enjoy their job?
Took a good 10 minutes just to get drinks & if you wanted a refill, given the 3 tables in my section with the drink machine in view you could have helped yourself. Anyone that worked here was rarely to be seen; again did I pick the wrong side?
The food was mediocre at best. The Dynamite Roll — I clearly had a different idea of what dynamite was. I’m used to a creamy sauce over baked mixed fish. To my surprise it’s a roll with the dynamite sauce mixed into the fish and it’s dry; tasted like I was eating canned fish to say the least. Blah disappointed.
The Eel Hand roll was spot on as was the Inari and Seaweed salad (though on the small side). But sadly it could not fix the poor service.
