Cici’s Pizza

A childhood place for me to have fun and eat pizza at after ball games is still in full swing. My wife and I decided to tryout Cici’s as neither of us wanted to cook and we figured that buffet pizza would be a quick and easy fix! Well. When we walked in, I told the cashier that we wanted 2 buffets. He in return handed us 2 glasses and told me the total was $ 17 and some change. But wait, did he just assume that we wanted soda as drinks? We both wanted waters… You know what assuming does don’t you? (I think we all do!) So when we told him we didn’t want drinks with our buffet and only wanted waters he was quick to say he was sorry and gave me $ 5.00 in cash to refund me for the credit card he’d already swiped. Oh well, rough start but I’ve had worse.
We made our way through the buffet line and grabbed several pieces of pizza each, which to my surprise was fairly fresh! In fact, there was a large variety of pizza to choose from! I didn’t figure this would be the case as I could vaguely remember childhood visits where the buffet was nearly all picked over!
Following our pizza dinner, I had to try out the cinnamon rolls for dessert and boy was I surprised! Those had to be one of the best tasting pieces of food that I’ve ever tried! Just perfect! Warm, cinnamon bread, icing. It couldn’t get much better, other than the fact that I had to enjoy them while my shoes stuck to an un-​mopped, soda soaked floor. Seriously. It’s a good thing I didn’t wear flip flops in there. I may have ended up leaving with one of them stuck to the tile! I felt like a big bug trying to crawl through an insect trapping pad! It was nearing closing hours, so maybe mopping was going to be done soon!
Overall the experience was good! The food was enjoyable which is always important!

Had never been here before but we received some coupons through the mail, had a (rare) lusting for pizza and wings and so thought we would take advantage of the «2 medium 1 topping pizza’s and 10 chicken wings» offer ($ 12) — seemed like a great deal.
Felt guilty driving up (it is in the same plaza as my gym :() but walked over and looked for a menu to see what toppings they had and what types of wings. I started to ask the server for a menu but the phone rang and he picked that up cutting me off mid-​sentence (really!!! in a service industry???). So I looked around — on the walls, behind the counter, on the counter, on the tables — Nada! Finally he is off the phone and I asked him for a menu to which his response was, drumroll please!, «we used to have one here» (pointing) «but we painted so we don’t have a menu anymore». What!!!
He couldn’t list for me the options available so I had no choice but to walk out and never return. I feel sorry for the owner, unfriendly and impolite serving staff coupled with the stupid notion of not having a menu anywhere! No wonder you have to mass mail coupons to get people to show up and take whatever you serve them. Took our business elsewhere

I have been to many CiCi’s all over Texas and Florida. This shop offered one of the best experiences. Food was hot, tasty and plentiful. The shop was also clean. The bus girl was constantly clearing tables and sweeping the floor. Great experience.

Althoough a variety of pizza was offered on the buffet. it all tasted the same. No variety in the pasta, sauces were tasteless and lukewarm, boring salad bar. Employees all looked like they didn’t want to be there and were killing time until they could go home. Waste of money.

It’s cici’s. You know what you are going to get. It’s consistently cici’s quality pizza. Don’t expect anything else and you won’t be disappointed.

When you come after lunch, it’s pretty nice, all the pizzas are fresh. IF there’s none, then you ask, they’re quite slow but what do you expect for $ 5 all you can eat pizza. The salad bar is almost fresh, lukewarm soup.
I can sit and eat cheese and pepperoni pizza all day. That’s about it.

Absolute worst CiCi’s location I’ve ever been to. At least 15 tables are piled high with used plates. The Buffett has hardly any pizza out. They are out of forks so they are handing out plastic ones. I’m not certain if it’s always this way or they are just understaffed. It’s hard to even be in here. I feel like I’m in a dishwasher filled with dirty dishes.

Came here on a Saturday night. It was extremely busy, but the team kept up with the customers pizza demand. Kudos to all the cooks.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy, luckily they had great staff in place and were able to to keep up with the demand and had hot, fresh, delicious pizza constantly coming out. The food itself was ok and that’s expected with a buffet but nevertheless we enjoyed our meal. I would recommened this place to anyone grabbing a quick bite to eat.

Mediocre service and pizza. The vibe there screams, «we don’t really want to be here.» Cicis used to be one of the best franchises around now it’s so watered down and crappy you might as well get a Digornio. I waited 10 extra mins for my to go order and they don’t even offer a complimentary drink anymore. Home cooked meals are about to make a comeback, watch.

This place has been getting worse and worse! Today the marinara AND Alfredo sauce were both very watery for the pasta! There were hardly any choices, and the place was a little busy, the pizzas were not cut correctly, the people behind me had to wait bec I had to cut the pizza with the serving spatula. To top it all off there was NO dessert for my kids to eat! It was too HOT inside and they started to play the soccer game really loud, good thing we had already finished! Yea probably my last time!

Not much good. After getting here, paying $ 12 for mediocre pizza and $ 2 drinks I’m sorry I didn’t read the previous reviews. Salad is at least a day old. Pizza was okay. Place is not really clean. Meh… I punished myself :(

This was my son’s favorite restaurant until a couple days ago. He begged to go the other day, so I took him. The restrooms are always disgusting, but I assumed that was because there are always kids there. When we went the other day, I saw a German cockroach run across the salad bar. The manager just brushed it off like it was nothing. I know that if you see one German roach it means you have an infestation. We will never go back.

It’s totally a CiCi’s, if you’re not familiar, think a mediocre pizza buffet. They also have salad, pasta, etc.
Some really strange pizza concoctions too sometimes. BBQ, bacon cheeseburger, etc.
I come every now and then because someone wants me to (and end up punishing myself), but I wouldn’t really come back if it weren’t for other less tasteful people :)
