RC’S NYC Pizza & Pasta

My new favorite pizza joint! Great taste and fresh ingredients. Love the traditional sauce and the variety of toppings. A little on the pricey side, but we’ll worth it.

Since this is primarily a pizza joint I am rating RC’s mainly on the quality of the pizza. I have never been to New York, so I can’t say as though I have a *truly* authentic NYC pizza experience to compare this pizza to, but out of all the places I’ve eaten that claim to serve NYC style pizza, this place hands down the best! RC’s pizza has an amazing crust, and you can really tell they put a lot of care in their dough.
Having grown up in Northern Illinois, I think Chicago-​style thin crust will always remain my favorite style of pizza, but this stuff is really good! I just noticed they serve an Italian beef sandwich, which I look forward to trying on another visit!

I’m from Chicago born and raised and my brother told me of this place that sells good Italian beef just like the once back home, had my doubts since this is a New York place but he was right took me right back home and pizza is actually really good as well

A pizzeria that provides N.Y. Pizza in Texas! Amazing! We ordered take out. When we picked up the pies, the manager «presented» the pies for us to confirm visually the pies were what we ordered. Nice thin crust with fabulous toppings including anchovies. Slices are large in size. (I cut the slices in half, cuz I’m a girl) We thought with purchasing two 18″ pies, we would have enough for 4 guys & a girl. Let me say there was very little conversation & 1 slice leftover! This is our second time ordering pies from RC’s New York Pizza & Pasta. We wanted to be sure our experience was not a one time thing. And it wasn’t! Looking forward to trying a pasta dish next time.

This is an amazing place for pizza and select subs. Ordered the Sausage and Pepper Sub today and so not up to par. Pizza A+, any parm sub A+, Tuna sub A, Sausage & Pepper Sub F!!! Will definitely try other subs and give my review.

This place is a pretty chill, hang out place. They have a really good twist on their pastas and pizzas considering how savory and well seasoned everything is. When I went, my cousin and I ordered the seafood pasta because of her own recommendation. She intensely hyped it up so I had high expectations. And it did not disappoint. It has shrimp and crab meat that just goes well together. The crab meat made the meal so much better and sweeter and overall great. The only downside to this restaurant is their service. You don’t get seated, you sit yourself but if there’s a big party, they’ll try to sit you. You can leave your plate on the table after you’re done but there’s no guarantee they’ll pick it up right after. Thus, when we came some tables were dirty. But if you can disregard those, you’ll most likely enjoy your food!

RC had me come in last night to try out his latest creation which is a Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich. Being from Chicago I have had my fair share of beef sandwiches. RC does not take shortcuts when it comes to his food and the beef sandwich is no different. First he toasted the roll and made it wet enough with the juice to where it was perfect. Held together nice when you ate it and did not fall apart. The beef was very flavorful and tasty. I had provolone cheese on mine and he topped it off with a generous amount of gardinier that was very tasty and not too hot. Needless to say I will be back for another as it’s the best one I have had in the area.

Excellent service. Consistent staff that handle crowds well! The pizza is amazing, salads just as good and very fresh! The owner is almost always there… and like I said staff is consistent and happy. Greeted by all of the employees that see you walk in the door! Family friendly.

Very friendly service, reasonably diverse menu, and everything I tried while here for lunch with coworkers — pepperoni rolls, garlic knots, pizza, calzone — was great. They really pull off calzones well: they’re crisp on the outside, don’t have an overwhelming amount of bread in the inside, and they don’t skimp on the fillings. The calzone I had here is the best that I have in years.

We are still here but I couldn’t wait to write a review. I love this place. It’s clean, the customer service goes above and beyond, and the food is delicious and fresh. This was our first but definitely not our last visit here. We had the meaty new yorker, the garlic knots, and a wedge salad. From the lettuce on the salad to the toppings on the pizza… everything was delicious.

Needed some pizza and this was highly rated and was as advertised. The pizza was very good and the salad was fresh and a lot of it. The sluggo pie was very good, i only wish I would have noticed that it came with white sauce. Would have been perfect with red. Nice little place.

This is my favorite pizza place in the spring/​woodlands area. The staff is young but they are always polite and the pizza is the bomb! The prices are reasonable for great pizza. Highly recommend.

RC’S NYC pizza is really good their pizza and dessert and there drinks are good Great job RC you have good staff i like the flavors of the pizza.

Came in for a lunch meeting. Delicious garlic bread (no cheese). I ordered a slice of margarita pizza and it was very good. Very clean and fresh. My friend ordered the pomodoro pasta with chicken and she said it was very good. Portions were nice, we left full and didn’t finish our meals. Fantastic customer service.

Seriously awesome pizza. Fantastic family atmosphere. My kids consider this their favorite eatery. Ordered a half-​salad and it was full of ham & turkey so I was even more impressed.

I think the pizza here is pretty good. We had the Godfather and the Greek Pie. Wasn’t really a big fan of either (I’m a simple dude when it comes to pizza), but it still was very good… I don’t know if that makes sense or not… mozzarella sticks were okay. The marinara sauce made up for it.

I always have a fantastic experience at RC’s. The staff is friendly and the pizzas are delicious. My favorites so far are the Godfather (smoked ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions) and the Meaty New Yorker (all the meats). I also really liked the Grandma pie. It’s a huge rectangular shaped pizza with a puffy crust. Their wings are fantastic and so are the fried pickles (subway tokens). This place is great for dine in or carry out.

Been here twice and got a large pizza for two and it was pretty pricey. The pizza was good and prepared fairly quick, they are very friendly and greet you as soon as walking in the door.
The pizza had really flavor with the sauce and cheese, seems all fresh and made each day not stored overnight.
I got a cal-​zone the second time and it was huge, I was happy with that ate the entire thing and then hated myself afterwords. It’s a good pizza joint to try if in the area.

The single sliced pizzas are great! Perfect for one person. The ingredients for the pizza seemed fresh. Their homemade garlic balsamic dressing for the mediocre salad was flavorful. I’m not a fan of diced tomatoes and cucumbers in my salad so it wasn’t that great to me. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo, however, was done well. The Italiano sub seemed a bit dry, but their chips were great! The shrimp Ryan could’ve been better had the shrimp not have been overcooked/​frozen. It wasn’t as succulent and juicy as fresh cooked shrimp should be. The sauce in the Ryan was a bit too buttery for my taste and I’m one to love butter!
The service was superb. Kate answered all of our questions diligently while handling the phones and calling out orders by herself. It seemed at the time that she was the only person running the front at 6pm on a Monday. Food was running a bit slow but she did come over and apologized about the wait time. Since it was only her on the floor, I totally understood. Just glad that she came over and communicated it to me.
I didn’t like how they used a big plate for the small salad. I’d Rather they put it into a bowl so that it looks filled instead of a small lump on the plate.
Overall: I’d come back again to try out their other pizzas. But not the pastas or subs. Service was great and probably makes up for their small salad on their oversized dish.

These guys have earned their fifth star. My last visit was just perfect in every respect. We ordered a ton of food for a birthday celebration: just about every appetizer they offer, plus some pizza, of course.
The pizza, as always, was fantastic. They’ve still got the best crust around as far as I’m concerned, and I love the sauce, too. Plenty of nice, stretchy cheese, and a great selection of toppings. There’s nothing to complain about.
The appetizers were all equally fantastic. Fried ravioli was crispy with just the right amount of cheese filling. Fried mushrooms were the best I’ve had anywhere: crispy shell, tender mushroom, no soggy watery anything. Subway tokens are always great, too. The wings are legit, fried and lightly sauced. Nothing like you get at a wing place, but meaty and full of flavor regardless.
Service was also top tier. They’ve settled on counter service now, but people still come around checking on everything frequently. Great experience all around!
