Christian rocks! Immediately helped me, was positive, and made my meal purchase experience awesome!!! Keep up the great work! I had just came from a different place(dairy queen) where you can read my reviews of what happened to me there, and I was blown away that these places are within a block from each other(500ft) and they are world’s apart! He also recommended that I don’t deal with them next time and save the headache and come have a shake from zips(I forgot all about zips shakes! Shame on me!) Will be coming back for sure! Thanks again!

I have been to a lot of Zips restaurants in my time. Worked at One back in my teens. This location is probably my least favorite. Most of the Zips restaurants I have been to really stuff the fry bags. This one doesn’t. Good luck finding any fries at the bottom of your bag. Then if you want any extra sauce, it will cost you 50¢ per teeny-tiny container.

I have no idea why everyone told us to go to Zip’s when we moved up here. It took twenty minutes to get our food. The food and customer service were horrible. We will never go back.

I’ve never has such poor customer service in my life. I paid $ 9 for a tiny burger with a single patty with a piece of ham on it. When asking for some fry sauce, the response I got was, «it doesn’t say that on the tag». I really don’t care what the tag says. I don’t live in the area, but I decibel won’t be back.

This is the slowest Zips i have ever been to! I waited at the drive through forever! You would think our food would have been so delicious and fresh because of how long we waited but it was awful! The saddest looking burgers I have ever seen from zips I will NOT return to that Zips!!! I would have given this zips 0 stars if I could!

I wouldn’t even rate it a 1 star. I waited in drive through for 20 minutes. Almost fell asleep. Finally I get my food double check it my fries weren’t in the bag. Also we asked for fry sauce and received tartar I had to show the lady the order on receipt pretty sad service. I recommend new management if you want happy customers.

Does Zip’s spend any time training their employees? After a long day of hiking, Mrs. C. and I had a hankering for a Huckleberry Shake. So we walk into the Veradale Zip’s. Since Huckleberry is a seasonal flavor, I asked the counter person(a teenage or early 20’s young lady) «Do you still make Huckleberry shakes»? That should be a yes or no question. Her answer«I believe so». She stands there and says nothing else. So I stand there for a few seconds then say, «Well, if you have it, I would like one». Mrs. C then said«Please confirm that you do or don’t as that is the only thing I want». So the gal walks back to the prep area and returns a few seconds later to confirm that yes they do have huckleberry. So I order a large and Mrs. C. orders a small. «Will that be for here or to go»? asks the counter person. Mrs. C and I look at each other to see if we heard that right as we were not sure what difference it would make for a milkshake in a cup. The counter person then realized what a dumb question that was and said«oh I guess it doesn’t matter does it»? Zounds! To be fair though, the Huckleberry shakes were delicious. But, come on Zip’s, train the help just a little bit.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I can think of 3 burger joints that are more savory. In n Out, Habit, and Whataburger. Had to at least try the place based off of recommendations. The fry sauce was pretty good.

Damn, so it was about near 1 o’ clock in the morning and I was all ready for bed until my boyfriend’s brother-in-law informed us for his intense burger craving, «Lets have some zip’s!». I just brushed my teeth but. f@$* it! YOLO(you only live once). Let’s enjoy our stay in Washington and get fat in the late hours of the night together. So, me, my boyfriend, his sister, her husband and the parents went on an exciting late night fatass adventure! This place – its so comfortable. I love the seating. It reminds me of a diner. Usually when I see burger joints, they’re not this comfy. lol. Like you would sit-in to eat but you can’t wait to leave ahem* Mcdonalds. Here?! I just wanna take my time. Maybe share a few burps and farts before I go… take a nap too. Just kidding. Seriously though. It’s cool. Also you can actually SEE them making your burger or anything that you order. So yes, it is FRESH. I like food in general but when food is fresh. I LOVEIT! They also have tons and tons of variety from banana milkshakes to turkey sandwiches, etc. My boyfriend ordered food for the both of us while his sister’s husband ordered half the menu… well. probably not half but just a lot of food. I tried the deep fried mushrooms and I liked it so much that I couldn’t wait til it cooled down to eat it. I burned the roof of my mouth for this. it hurt like MOTHERFUHHH, but I was still eating cus it’s too delicious. LOL. My boyfriend got a burger and I wanted to just snack on fries but after I noticed what the parents ordered. chicken pub? I had to get one too! It was BOMBB. WHYYOUNOHAVEINCALIFORNIA?! Can’t wait til I’m back in Washington to have more. :) Yummmm.

Zip’s is a regular request from my 4 year old son when we go out to eat, but he knows it as «Zippy-doo-da’s» :) I like Zip’s. I wasn’t familiar with the restaurant until I moved to Spokane early last year. I have tried several different burgers here and have enjoyed them all. It’s a fantastic place to eat if you want to fill yourself up for a decent price. I am a huge fan of the fact that they have pumps full of tartar and fry sauce at the counter. Definitely not 5-star dining, but the food is good, filling and the service is friendly. Worthy of being a «go-to» spot when I can’t decide what I want to eat.

I was looking to try something new and Zips seemed to fit that bill. Place isn’t bad but it nothing special. Burger was good not great and the rings were okay, bit salty. If I was local I would go back but not a place I would hunt down as a must go.

Way OVERPRICED, they must think there food is better than everyone else’s. Not true, their food is run-of-the-mill. When you get finished feeling the drain on your wallet you’d do better getting quality food somewhere else(like Five Guy’s). Again, people in Spokane rating high because they’ve never had GOOD food.

I’d like to give these guys 4.5, but we can’t do that. The staff here have always been pleasant and attentive. The no tomato request but giving me one any way does not happen here, which is a huge plus. There are lots of Zip’s in the northwest, but this location is probably one of the best. One of my favorite guilty pleasures here is the deep fried mushrooms. Probably unhealthy… but that never stops a grub hound like me! My only real downer on this place is, like all Zip’s, I think they are too expensive. That is happening every where, though, so I guess I am stuck with that part. They do have some good deals, however. 5 cheeseburgers and a tub of fries for around $ 10. Good for a quick lunch for the gang… or one seriously hungry person. I have always thought Zip’s to be the best burgers I have ever had, and this is one of the best Zip’s running.

2 Papa Joes for 2 bucks… That is the best words when thinking of a great lunch or dinner. The fries are awesome and tarter and fry sauce are even better. I always stop by this Zips any time I see it when I am in town.

I would absolutely go back to Zips for their cross cut fries. They came out hot and cooked to perfection. Would I drive 300 miles as Jae O says she does, no. If I was Drunk in Spokane as another writer writes, Yes. The burgers were good and I would give them 3 stars for burgers(A-OK) and 5 stars for the cross cut fries and fry sauce — so that is where 4 stars comes from. Would definitely go back to try some of the other food other then the cheese burgers.

Ah Zips, how I love(and miss) thee. Your great tartar sauce and tater tots, your deep fried mushrooms, and your incredibly addicting Papa Joe’s. Why, Zips, why can you not expand to Western Washington? Why must I drive 300 miles to taste your forbidden fruits? Just when I thought I’d be addicted to Dick’s forever, you come along and blow my fast food dreams out the window. How I dream of your artery-clogging tastiness. Vegans shall scream in horror at your name. And although I know that my cholesterol levels are much better with you so far away, I still feel the pull of the Zips addiction all the way from Seattle.

Drunk in Spokane? Need some fast food to guarantee your heart explodes before you ever see the age of 40? Have I got news for you! Zip’s is the place to go, everybody. They have crosscut French fries that come with fry sauce Spokane-style(tartar sauce + mustard + ketchup) that will have you twitching in ecstasy the first time you try it. Their burgers are fantastic and made fresh. Warning about their ‘shrooms. The good: melt in your mouth breaded fungi(in a good way, I swear). The bad: you have to wait a few minutes to eat them because if you bite in too soon you will either burn your tongue or hot grease will get all over your hands.
