Perk Up is an excellent business with great tasting coffee. Because I work in the mall, I hit this place up at least once a day during work. Not only is the coffee brewed perfectly, but the people that work there are genuinely nice and take the time to ask about your day and how you are. The owner is very personable and the employees have great attitudes. Perk Up is better than any other local coffee shop. Definitely stop in for coffee, tea, pastries, and other drinks if you are at Legends.

I’ve given this place a few tries and the best thing I have had here is a prepackaged«puck» protein bar. Their hot coffee drinks are weak sauce and their«frap» type beverages are clearly made with powder. I think they lucked out being the only coffee game at legends and that is the only reason they are still open. I’m the Queen of supporting local business but in this case I’d rather walk to Target and get Starbucks for the same price. I’d have to agree with the other complaints about service as well. I’ve always felt like I am bothering them by asking them to do their jobs.

Small place but perfectly named. I was shopping around legends and needed to be «perk [ed] up». Not much sitting inside and a few tables outside. The girls were quick in receiving my order and making the drinks. I ordered a cookies ‘n crème Frappé with Two shot and I was surprised at how good it was, it reminded me of a white choclate/Hazelnut Ice Blend from Coffee bean &Tea Leaf, which Reno regrettably does not have. My friend ordered the«Spicy» Chai Iced Latte and I was expecting to taste the spices in the Chai, but I disappointed to taste it rather flat; which is why I removed a star. Overall I would come back, just not for a Chai.

First time ever here and will never come back!!! The two girls working here are air heads on super slow mode! I’ve been waiting over 5 min for ice tea and there was only one person here before me who has been waiting 15 min for a burrito which they forgot to make her. When she asked for not the girl laughed said sorry and gave her a cold burrito. The girl had to ask them to heat it which they then had attitude about having to do it. Never again!!!

My sister is a coffee fiend and insists this is here favorite place in town to get coffee(despite its semi inconvenient location). But I could take it or leave it, though I would love to support a local business more than Starbucks. Prices are comparable to Starbucks, and the flavors are great too. I usually get a Chai, my sister gets a Machiatto or a Frap. The service, though super friendly, is just not up to par. I have been here many times, slow or busy, doesn’t matter they still have just one staff member behind the counter. You would think that on Saturday/Sunday mornings they would spring for the extra staff member. The shop is so tiny, but it gets filled up with people waiting to order and there isn’t even room to wait in line. I honestly waited in here once for 15 minutes waiting to order because of the chaos of trying to decide who was next. Saving a few bucks on not staffing the place properly will cost them in the long run. I’m sure we’ll keep going back though as it is on route of our frequent trips to the Marina/Legends area.

It doesn’t seem like much of a coffee shop. They have 2 chairs and it seems more like a thrift store Starbucks. The prices are not worth the taste.

I ordered the 20 Oz white chocolate frap and my girlfriend ordered the vanilla frap. We both really enjoyed our coffee. There wasn’t a long wait for our drinks at all. The staff was friendly and accommodating no complaints on my part. A great touch to our shopping outing and day with the kids!

Coffee good, service poor. Waited in line entirely too long while one person took orders, made drinks, and cashiered — understaffed for weekend movie business. My friend made the mistake of requesting a «grande» latte which prompted the young lady working to rudely say«sorry, I don’t know what a grande is.» First, I’d bet my paycheck that she knows what a «grande» is AND that it translates to medium in her establishment. Second, what an ill-mannered thing to say to a customer. While she may have used the wrong terminology, she did stop at your shop instead of driving through the Starbucks that is 0.5 miles away. I’m a customer service aficionado who expects appreciation for my business… Snarkiness isn’t something I sample more than once. Next time I’ll swing through Starbucks or better yet The Java Bean!

Cute LITTLE place. Nice staff. Delicious chai! My husband had a frapp and loved it as well. We would definitely go to Perk Up again.

My all time favorite vanilla chai latte is from here! Better than all the other places I’ve been to.

This shops only redeeming quality is the staff. They are always cheery and helpful. Other than that… The are always out of things. Pickles, sausage, pastrami, chicken(chicken was out for two months) and the owner blames his vendors. Good business practices would be to go elsewhere and fetch your missing product to keep you customers happy… The owner also says he is just going to take chicken off the menu. Which is a poor business decision. Also, it is always at least 80 degrees in the shop. I feel bad for the staff having to work in the heat.

This a small coffee place in the Legends Mall. The coffee was good and my shop-made cinnamon roll was okay. This is s small operation. I believe it only had two tables. There were choices for different drinks, plus they had some baked goods they made themselves and muffins they buy elsewhere. My decaf white mocha was good. I’d buy it again. The cinnamon roll seemed a little under baked but other items they offered looked fine.
