Stopped in for a knee brace, ended up with a Chicken, bacon, ranch wrap. Service was friendly and fast(Thursday night, only a couple of customers). Fresh tasting and a healthy serving of chicken.

I’m thankful that this place exists at the Legends Outlet mall. It’s so convenient to go in there in between shopping, grab a quick bite, get right back to shopping. Today, I was on a shopping marathon, probably making up for 3 months of drought. After spending a couple of hours browsing and trying clothes on, not only was my stomach screaming for food, my feet were screaming at me to sit down for a minute, as well. Gramma Ginna’s is located inside Scheel’s, and they serve soups, sandwiches, gelatos, coffee, and of course, fudge. Since it was a rainy afternoon, I opted for something hot ~ dirty chai tea, and a cinnamon bun. Both were good, and hit the spot. If not for the rain, I would’ve gone for a scoop of gelato, but none of the flavors jumped at me. They do have a good selection of flavors, but I have a favorite ice cream place, and somehow, I just can’t bring myself to have traditional flavors anymore. I’m more into curry– and sage-flavored ice cream nowadays. Anyways, I ate my bun, drank my tea, rested my feet, and after a few minutes, I was back to my party-of-one marathon.

Fudge is a funny word. Unfortunately it’s not my type of food. Good thing that they have savory sandwiches, ice cream, soft serve and a dozen other eats. It’s like a whole food court in one place. Scheels is massive and you could spend the day here. Of course you’d have to eat. The soft serve machine was down but we got a solid pistachio gelato in it’s place. prices are super cheap and it’s pretty good!

Customer service was a little lacking, but I think they were overwhelmed. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. I thought adding croutons inside was a nice touch. They added a crunch factor. I love crunchy! Only when it’s supposed to be that is. My boys devoured their chicken strips tags came with an applesauce and the side of Mac salad I bought. They serve Starbucks here as well as fudge an my most favorite ice cream. GELATO. I didn’t get any because I’m trying to watch what I eat, but it looked so pretty and delicious! I think this place is a really convenient addition to scheels. I’m the kind of person that likes to kill many birds with one stone because I don’t have time for extra trips. I paid about $ 20 for everything we got, which I thought was pretty decent. I REALLY wanted to try some of the fudge. Their homemade desserts look so badly good!

It’s located inside Scheels. If you’re a sports nut like me, or an outdoor kind of person, you can spend hours if not days(kidding) inside this mega sports store. You need a place to relax, sit down and replenish your energy in order to continue your adventure. There’s ample tables and chairs, and it’s very spacious. They have all kinds of snacks from hot meals to cold food, coffee, tea, water, ice cream and desserts. They do have plenty of variety, which is nice and it won’t put a major dent in your wallet as they are all reasonably priced. Service is hit or miss depending on who you get. Some are just there for the paycheck as you can tell they are delighted to help you… NOT! But this goes for these kinds of small shops. Don’t expect great service, but you get plenty of nice options.
