Was at the Philly airport yesterday on my way back to Indy. This is in Gate C. My advice? Stop in the food court area by the security checkpoint instead. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with no onions and with cheese. $ 10. I couldn’t even eat half of it. Dry and what had transpired earlier left me feeling off about the whole thing. While the lady who took my order was fine. However the guy I am guessing is the owner(he was wearing a button up, standing on the side of the glass as the customers, and wiping the glass down). He was joking with the guys working the grill. Making jokes that the«Mexican guys» there have AIDS. I am sorry. But that’s not something to joke about in general and certainly not appropriate for an employer to be joking about with their employees(about other employees)… In earshot of customers and at a food establishment. Ugh.

The lamest gyro is ever had, and I’ve had quite a few gyros. It was nearly meatless for ten bucks. Airport food is generally lame but this ranks low even for that category.

For me, it was fast, easy and my Philly Cheese-steak was very good. (I guess :-) my 1st one here) The service was fast & the employees were friendly.

Gyro is weak with meat. Their food options all picture fries but they will give you any. Too expensive for what you get… avoid. Manager is confrontational when you question the pricing. AVOID

This breakfast, gyro and cheese steak place capitalizes on the desire for your money if you really needed a cheese steak. Actually it’s not too bad. The foot long sandwich is filled with grilled onions and cut up steak. The sandwich could have had more cheese. The cheese was beautifully melted and married with the meat and onions. It hit the spot. I’m sure it’s not the best cheese steak but its just passable and necessary if you’re craving melted cheese and thin cooked slices of meat. One could share one sandwich or eat one half now and the other on the plane. Had no issues with service. Although it wasn’t that busy. With ice tea drink and steak it came to under 10 bucks. Overall, 3.5 stars.

I had a layover in Philly and figured I had to try a philly steak sandwich while I was here. As all airport food joints, it’s over priced for a meal ~$ 9.50 sandwich and fries extra 50 cents if you want more toppings. Sandwich was decent, big portion so I felt better about spending $ 9 on it. Not sure about the other reviews, but I had great fast friendly service. The cashier and cook were very nice. Kitchen was open so you can see them make it, I got my order pretty quick which was awesome because I was hungry. For airport food, it wasn’t bad, probably best option in the food court.

The food was not worth the cost and the service was extremely disappointing. The employee who handed out the food dropped my sanwich on the floor plus the cashier was rude.

The service was… strange. It seemed to me like a large group of people were standing around behind the counter and only two were really working. I had to ask for napkins twice. The manager finally gave me a pile saying the dispenser was broken so that’s why they didn’t leave them out. I about bit my tongue thinking… well if your dispenser is broken, then shouldn’t you just give out a couple of napkins with each order? I’m in a hurry and in an airport, I shouldn’t have to flag you down for napkins. The food was just ok. It wasn’t the best I have ever had for a philly cheesesteak but for airport food, it was slightly better than average.

We had 2 hours to kill until our plane started boarding so we decided to get a cheese steak for old times sake. Basically the service was so bad that I would have rather eaten else where. I ordered a cheese steak with mushrooms, lettuce and tomatoes. I forgot to mention I wanted mayonnaise in it. So as I was giving money for the order I said, «can you add mayo?» He told me no you had to tell me that right away. Nothing here is free. We were willing to pay more as he was still holding our money. But he was saying the order is put in we can’t change anything. So we said alright and waited for our food. As we waited I heard the worker yelling cheese steak cheese steak as if we are at some flea market not the airport. I wish I heard him earlier because I wouldn’t have ordered. He’s making his company look bad since he’s shouting to draw attention to his place of eating. The food itself was alright but the customer service killed my appetite for a cheese steak.

It’s my first time in Philadelphia even though it’s a lame layover inside the airport, I HAD to have a philly cheesesteak even if it could be a crappy, airport-expensive sandwich. The menu is a little confusing because«cheesesteak» is listed in 3 places on the menu board: 7″, plain, the works… it’s a little confusing. So to make things easy, we literally ordered a cheesesteak with everything. For under $ 8, I’d say it wasn’t bad for a sandwich of this size. We ate it on the plane, so it obviously wasn’t piping out, and it was meh. I wasn’t a fan of the jalapenos which are pickled. Would’ve been awesome if they were fresh. Otherwise, it was kind of an underwhelming sandwich no different from what you’d find in a food court. Perhaps some day I’ll actually make a trip to step outside the Philly airport. I welcome any suggestions for some cheesesteak contenders in Philly.

Mediocre food, and mediocre service by people who obviously don’t want to be there and don’t care who knows it. They have a couple different sized phillies but it’s a bit hard to tell which is which and they don’t really care to explain it. The food I got in exchange wasn’t good and they forgot two major ingredients on one of my orders. On the plus side, the fries were tasty for previously frozen fries…
