The flaky and buttery croissant with the creamy spinach and feta filling was divine. It was an explosion of delicious and intense flavors in the mouth. The scone with chocolate chips was buttery and crumbly. Chocolate chips were all over the pastry. Easy access from route 9 and free parking, efficient service,…

Let me preface this by saying I walked in here barely able to contain myself. Long night long story message me for details but overall this place was … Fine. Good vibes/u know I’m a sucker for hand painted signs such as «happiness is in your cup, so be a little happy» was on the walls. One thing that ticket my noggin was when Jim asked what the soup of the day was and lady said idk,(in a decently friendly manner) but DIDNT find out and rings me up no questions asked!!! Luckily katie(gf) got the cornerbread and since we’re dating at least for now lol!!! Women. She let me have a bitt so, yes I left full yea I am fine yes yes yes. No soup but I’m fine and constantly sipping. «Happiness is a good cup” — Jim r

I meet a friend here for coffee and breakfast every few weeks, and we love their coffee! The outside seating is perfect for bright summer mornings. They always have coffee specials and they never disappoint!

I was in town on vacation in August 2015 and was looking for freshly roasted coffee beans and a quick breakfast before heading home. A quick search of Unilocal turned up this little restaurant very close by. We stopped in around 8:30 on a Tuesday morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich and fruit, along with a cup of coffee. The sandwich was basically 2 slices of toasted bread with a very little bit of egg in between. It was pretty skimpy. The coffee was good though. It wasn’t a terrible experience. But I did leave feeling a little underwhelmed.

Been a Starbuckian for a long while(as evident by the gold star-tus), and one day out of a huge craving for coffee, spotted Red Barn Coffee on my way to work and now I’m proud to call myself a resident Redbarnian. The coffee is utterly delicious and there is a large selection of flavor shots to add to them. They also switch a special every few days and you can never go wrong. But what I really want to rave about is their pastry, it is an experience. Variety of muffin tops, apple turnovers, raspberry danish are all exemplarily done, the pastry flakes on the apple turnover falls off and over into your mouth at just the right consistency and rate; the exquisite balance between slightly sweet, naturally sour taste of raspberry and the fine seeds creates an unique sensation for the taste buds; and the subtle flavors, moist muffin tops with its peachy chunks.(I’m getting hungry just writing this) The staff is absolutely pleasant and the service always efficient and precise. I never had to wait long for my cup of java fix.

I love this place. I try to come in at least once a week. The bagels are delicious and the muffins are fresh. The flavored coffee is really good. The staff is friendly and always has a conversation with you. I can not complain about this place.

Really cute tables and ambience inside. You can also eat outside, in the back they have 3 or 4 tables. I can’t speak for the lunch menu as I only had a late morning snack there. I agree with most of the reviews about some of the staff. When we got there, we were looking at the glass shelves, reading the labels of everything while trying to make our decision when the girl behind the counter started abruptly taking the labels down and said«Sorry, I have to switch these out!» We even made a joke like«Now we don’t know what anything is!» and she really never picked up on that. She was nice enough but it just didn’t feel like the customer was one of her priorities. I’d try this place again though.

This is a charming little coffee shop with much to offer. The coffee is delightful the sandwiches are delicious and although I’ve never had a pastry before I must say that they do look yummy. My favorite is the ham, egg and swiss cheese breakfast panini.

I really do enjoy Red Barn coffee and go out of my way to get it. But lately the service and the coffee itself has been really hit or miss. Today my husband and I went in. I ordered a large Milky Way latte, my husband ordered a plain black coffee and an espresso shot. Today’s order was proof of how much the taste and quality of a coffee can depend on the quality of the barista making it. All three drinks were borderline disgusting and my latte, after the foam died away, was barely ¾ full. When we went in today, we perused the beans before our order. We were the only people in the store. So when we went to the counter to order, the two young girls behind the counter(who likely know nothing about coffee) just stared at us until I said«hello». It was just awkward and uncomfortable. My husband felt rushed making his coffee selection and I felt like we couldn’t ask questions about the beans. We usually go to this Red Barn over the other locations because this location is usually much better, but not lately. If I wanted coffee made by baristas with no coffee knowledge and/or just don’t care about serving a good drink, I’d go to Starbucks. At least there I know my drink will be consistent.

The food and coffee are good, but the ladies at the counter were never trained that one shouldn’t touch cash and then touch baked goods. I have remind them to put on gloves. Not coming here again.

Good coffee and super close to work. The pastries are supper yummy. The paninis are OK. But I go get my lunch there as an excuse to get coffee and a pastry. My favorites are the chocolate croissant and the muffins.

The food is great. Their sweets are so yummy! Their hot chocolate was ok, but I like sweet things. If ask me it tastes kind of bitter to me, but maybe they use dark chocolate. I agree with the other reviewers though, when ever I come the workers didn’t even smile. Basically all they need to work on is their costumer service. A great place for people on the go, the workers are always trying to give you your order as fast as possible!

I want to like this place, but the staff and the coffee don’t help. First, we went twice on two different Sundays– the first time we got there at 1240pm and they told us they were closing at 1. Okay, that’s cool– it’s an odd time to close but maybe business is slow, right? Nope. While we waited for our coffee THREE other couples came in and got the same tepid response from the girl behind the counter. Definitely seemed as though she was angry we were slowing down her efforts to clean up and leave. The iced coffee was old and burnt– in fact I’ve had better coffee at Jiffy Lube back in the day when I went there. As we left we noticed THREEMORE couples try and go in for coffee, so why in the world does it close so early on Sunday? They seem to have some extensive seating in the back area and we wanted to check it out so we decided to come back the following Sunday and get there earlier– we arrived at 1140am this time and — you guessed it– they were now closing at Noon this week. Different clerk behind the counter– this one was older, but no less surly and seemingly sorry to see us than the one the previous week. We were rushed ordering, and instead of staying behind the counter to see if we wanted anything else she rushed off to sit in the seating area to chat it up with someone else– and begrudgingly getting up each time someone new came in. Here’s the cold hard facts Red Barn: 1. Your coffee is not very good. 2. Your staff doesn’t seem at all interested in the customer experience– on our way out the second time a woman leaving asked us if the clerk had been rude to us too– 3. Despite the first two listed people seem to want to come in to your shop, too bad you are more interested in getting your people home than making your customers feel like they are welcome. There is just too much good coffee around to put up with this nonsense. They won’t be around long.

Went in with my boyfriend for a breakfast sandwiches but they were all out. Was not feeling a breakfast pastry so just got a black ice coffee. Coffee was not up to par with competing coffee houses. My boyfriend also got a black ice coffee and went back in to ask for cream to see if it would taste any better and they put way too much in without asking his preference. He had one sip and asked to leave immediately, tossing his coffee. I had a few sips but once it watered down I was all set. Staff was not very likable, and for the drive it was not worth the trip. For the minute we sat outside I couldn’t help but notice little green bugs on the table and on ME! Very disappointed seeing that there are not to many coffee houses in the area. Will not be returning.

Coffee: Yum Breakfast Sandwiches: Double Yum Muffintops: OMFG I want to die Yum. Though it has some tables and such, it really doesn’t feel like a place to linger. However, see above to takeout morning yums. That is all.

I saw the Red Barn while randomly driving through the area, and was compelled to stop. I cannot pass up a chance to try a new coffee restaurant! I thought they had a great selection, and kicked myself for not purchasing a bag of beans to send to my mother(she loves unique flavor combinations and they had a bunch). I found the man behind the counter somewhat unfriendly. No hellos, no smile– he just wanted to know what our order was. The coffee selection was great. I ordered a very sweet milky way(iced). I think my friend and I finished that in record time. I’d surely stop again if I happened to be near this location or stumbled upon another location; in fact, I did purchase a bag of their coffee at a totally random location a week later. I loved their ceramic mugs too, but not for almost $ 15!

yeah, ill give them a solid 4 stars. this is by the way only one of two of the possible coffee stops on my way into work, and seeing a) i need to go to work everyday and b) i NEEDMYCOFFFEEEEEEEE well so anyway, today was one of those days i left my coffee at home, either that or on top of the car, but i didnt see it roll down the windshield, so i guess it was at home. its a rustic looking barn, a red one at that. attached to a few other business its not the whole building, which is fine, this is a get in get out kinda place. i think they have a table, but as i was saying, i gotta get going and all. they sell all sorts of giftie stuff, they also roast their own blend of bean, but i only needed a cup. it was a fine cup of coffee. Now when i have coffee its either good or bad. dunkies is bad and the buck is good, so there you have my java index and RBCR is on the good side. I also saw they have many baked items, muffin tops, cookies, smelled good, maybe even a bagel or two, but i wasnt into that, just give me the brown. service was prompt a medium was 2 bucks flat and yes, i will be returned when i space the go juice in the future.
