Donut King

Our company just moved into the SSF neighborhood so we need a good donut shop for our monthly training meetings for franchisees that come to visit corporate and I’m so glad I found this place on google.
The lady was very nice and so sweet. The bagels and donuts were fresh and delicious. I will definitely keep coming here every week/​month when needed.
I just can’t get over the great service and how good and moist the bagels were, so amazing!

I love this place! Awesome ham and cheese croissants, bagel sandwiches, donuts, etc. It has been here forever, the owner is super friendly and takes good care of her customers. No frills, just a classic donut shop. Yummmm!

I had breakfast at Donut King this morning and I really liked it. I ordered cappuccino, a glazed donut and a crüller. The place is really quiet and it feels like a country place in the middle of South San Francisco. The lady behind the counter is really nice and talkative. The cappuccino was good, the glazed donut was good also and the crüller was great (very «eggy» and soft). Remember to bring cash if you come here because they don’t accept debit/​credit cards. The place is relatively small but I like it and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxed breakfast.

Been here a couple of times. The people that work here are so friendly. They sell donuts, bagels, croissants and its really affordable too. It is really cramped inside though. But luckily it doesn’t get too full. Also it’s hard to find parking since there is only street parking. But service was great and donuts were delish. Def coming back.

love the people here. I’ve been coming since I was little and she has never ceased to satisfy my hunger in the morning with the best coffee and bagels.

Its so cute and the service is very friendly. Once there was a non-​English speaking employer to take my service but who cares. The owners are very friendly and I would eat there on my break and read a magazine.

Nestled in a most inconspicuous location at the end of downtown South San Francisco, the Donut King is a purveyor of wholesome and traditional American breakfasts. This shining oasis of every morning welcomes Bedouins still longing for their beds under the gray morning sun. As you bring your tattered spirits to the gates of the Donut King you feel something tugging at your heart, your soul, your belly. Do not let the sign on the outside of this fine establishment forsake you. Donuts they have, but it does not end there. You will be welcomed graciously and warmly and that is when your real journey begins. Choose from a myriad of breakfast foods, from toast to bagels, to knock down that longing for slumber and awaken the spirit of the day in yourself. The day does not start when you open your eyes. The day starts when you visit the Donut King and slam your face with a hearty breakfast sandwich (my favorite is croissant!) and gulp down a cup of fresh coffee. Then as you wipe the silly grin of satisfaction from your face, you exit the magical place that is the Donut King and into the treacherous real world. The only thing you brought with you out of the Donut King is hope and a full stomach. Once outside I implore you to scream at the world! Terrify it! Awaken the demons of that morning and let them know you are coming. Scream all the way to your car and into work. That’ll show your boss.
