The Back Doctor : Patrick Cheng

I am very impressed with Dr. Patrick Cheng. I saw him after I was rear-​ended at a red light for horrific upper back and neck pain. He truly wants to make me whole again. It has been a very painful 2 years of seeing physical therapist/​pain specialist/​another physical therapist and no good results. Now working with Dr. Cheng he is prescribing aqua therapy, physical therapy as well as pilates and his chiropractic care to make my core strong again. He truly cares and I so look forward to a pain-​free future.

Patrick Cheng threatened to sue me over $ 50. He took advantage of my being nice, and then threatened me into submission. If i were you, i would NOT trust this man.

Through the years Dr. Patrick Chang has helped me with my soccer & boxing injuries. I’ve always left feeling a lot better than how I walked in. I highly recommend pat !!!

Went here for a bad back and came out with worse pain. The worst part was the way he laughed while he was adjusting my back, I was nearly in tears from the pain. To top it all off, similar to other reviews, this quack tried to charge me directly even after he billed my insurance company. Stay away.
As for the 4 star review for this quack, I’m pretty sure they’re planted.

Be aware!!! He will over charge you if you see him after a car accident. His interest in your accident, try to maximize his return and not on you. You will end up with a huge bill like me. My bill was over $ 600 for 2.5 hours of his consultation service. The only reason why I went to him is because of his outstanding Unilocal reviews and his practice is covered under my health insurance plan. I should have left when he said he will not accept my health insurance coverage. Anyway, during this 2.5 hours, he basically documented the detail of the accident, provided me some of his injury attorney friends, examined me and provided one treatment /​massage. He also exaggerated the injury and requested me to get a MRI 3.0 done. I quickly realized that I was dealing with a dishonest doctor and quickly scheduled an appointment with my family doctor and another chiropractor. My family doctor and the other chiropractor both came to same result. I am not stuck with a big bill that even my insurance company refuse to pay. A chiropractor shouldn’t his business into the car accident case. People be alert who you are dealing with.

TERRIBLE! bait and switch… made doubles charges to insurance company AND to me for which they wouldn’t re-​reimburse despite repeated attempts to get clarity from reception. STAY AWAY from this quack.

My husband has seen several back doctors and we found this one the back doctor out of San Francisco and he is the best we have ever had he cares about his patients he did a Complete check up on my husband not every doctor will take his time with patience like this one we are grateful we found him he gets a hundred percent 10 star from us thank you doctor… Brent and Kelly Hewitt

Went here for my high school physicals and he was good. Nice guy and easy to talk to. I had 3 years of back spasms after though and came to him a couple times. He put these patches on me to make my muscles pulse and he cracked my back. It was about 100 dollar back in 05 and it didn’t help one bit. I went to a self taught guy in Newark a couple years later and he tapped down my spine until he found the problem. He put me in this weird position and cracked my back. The spasms are completely gone and I can finally run more than a quarter mile without my back stiffening up. 2 stars for the nice doctor since I’m basing it on results and not personality.

I entered Patrick’s office today with a throbbing pain in my lower back and left it with almost no pain. Through electro stimulation and adjustment Patrick took almost all of the pain away. It is a couple of hours later now and I still feel great. I have been to many chiropractors in the past but Patrick is defiantly one of the best!

He is the best chiropractor I ever went to. I have been treated at Latch & So. Been referred to from a friend. Ever since I have been getting the best care for my back and thumb.

Came here a long time ago when I was in high school. Dr Cheng was so rude to me and gave me very little of his time. He rushed while he was talking to me. He made me feel bad about my body. I seen him act nicer to others. Never went back and never will.

Over the years, Dr. Pat Cheng has helped me with various soccer injuries, as well as neck and back pain. I always leave feeling GREAT. Highly recommended.

Dr Cheng was chatty and very friendly. He fixed my sore arms and shoulder, and I only went in for 2 visits. I’d love to go back to him only if I’m not moving out of the city :)

I don’t have enough stars for Dr.Chang. I first contacted the office on a Sunday (I had been is severe pain over the week-​end). I was hoping I’d get a call back Monday morning and an appointment that afternoon, To my surprise, my phone rang soon after I called and it was him. He just happened to be in the office doing paperwork. He spoke to me for a while and then set an appointment with me for the next morning. Before he started working on me, he spent a lot of time determining the specific problem. After just that first visit, I was feeling much better. I’ve only been to three sessions now and my back has not felt this good since I can remember. I very highly recommend Dr. Chang for back problems. He IS «The Back Doctor»!

I was hurting and bad. I couldn’t walk. Dr Cheng fixed me in two weeks.
Definitely recommend him and would not hesitate to use again.

Dr. Patrick Cheng is one of the best chiropractors I have been treated by. He took the time to fully understand my issue and provided targeted treatment. Aside from being highly competent, he is a nice guy.

I have been to many chiropractorss for my neck, back, and wrist injuries. I’ll go straight to the point, Dr. Patrick Cheng, is the best there is. Not only in practical application but in knowledge as well. If you go see Dr. Cheng, you will NOT be disappointed!

Dr. Cheng worked me in as a walk-​in. I walked out about an hour later. Significantly better than I walked in. And you can park in the back and avoid the SSF meter nazis. Very happy. The big fish tank is a nice balance to the electrode torture device. I’m thankful for his devotion to the practice.

Patrick Cheng has been treating me for several injuries in the past 12 years. Being a police officer demands strenuous physical fatigue on the body. Pat has relieved my pains and injuries. If you are interested in a great chiropractor, then I highly recommend Pat.

Dr. Patrick Cheng ‘effing rocks!
First. I used to party in Toronto on Queens Street a lot. Dr. Cheng graduated from the University of Toronto. Second, he suggested that perhaps we crossed each other. Not so much that he got his PhD in Toronto, but more so that this guy is cool and knows how to have a good time. That said, perhaps that is not the best endorsement for a professional practice, so let me get to that…
Dr. Cheng is the most down-​to-​earth, caring individual I have met in a long time. He takes everything you say about your situation (PAIN!) 1000% serious and dedicates himself to fixing it. Now I’ll tell you what, it can be a little wierd having a dude lying on top of you and jumping down, but I guess that is what Chiros do. I’ll throw caution to the wind. IT WORKS. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a medical situation in my life.
Beyond that, he has some of the finest Chinese artwork I’ve seen outside of Suzhou, China. Some are even by relatives of his. Just ask and he’ll show you around and give you some background on each piece.
Oh yeah, his fish are cool.
I’m 1000% glad I used Unilocal to find my Chiro. Doesn’t hurt that he is also in my Blue Cross PPO plan.
