My school raised money through a bake sale to afford this DJ, to the tune of $ 600. We gave him a playlist that the students chose(a poor choice, but not his fault). However, he stuck to this playlist relentlessly, and refused to take requests or change the order at all. This meant we had 5 slow dances in a row, and then none for the last two hours, including the last dance. It is my understanding that a DJ is hires for remixes, excellent speakers, and music taste. Our DJ did no more than 2 remixes in 3 hours, both of which were so close to the original the effort was clearly minimal. With $ 600, higher quality speakers could easily have been obtained that could have been used multiple times. By staying to the playlist(which was not amazing, but again not his fault) and refusing to shuffle it in anyway to make the slower songs more intermixed, he had no point. Why spend money on someone who brings nothing to the table except speakers, which could have been bought for many future uses(his ability to control the volume was severely lacking, with most of the songs either deafening or inaudible)? I would not recommend this DJ to anyone.

Good equipment but horrible DJ. He refused to play any other song then what he had on his playlist even when multiple people complained. I would not use this service unless you want to pay 600 dollars for 3 hours of endless pop.

We chose Bay Area Dj’s «Berto» for our Zumba events because of his direct personal responses, very reliable and professional. I will definitely be using him again and recommend to friends!!!
