DJ Osvaldo

Osvaldo did an incredible job as our wedding and reception DJ and MC. Leading up to the wedding, Osvaldo was friendly and easy to communicate with as we planned our wedding remotely. With his experience in DJing large parties and many weddings, Osvaldo was able to guide us through all the details that we hadn’t thought of on our own (this meant a lot, as we didn’t really know what we were doing). He also went out of his way to meet with us in person and to conduct a thorough walk-​through of our venue.
During the actual wedding day, Osvaldo helped coordinate and execute all the details seamlessly (including coordinating music with a live musician, throwing in some jokes in Chinese to our guests’ delight, and generally keeping the atmosphere energetic and fun). He was also incredibly gracious and flexible as we extended our reception time at the last minute since everyone was having fun.
Our guests, and especially our families, had nothing but positive reviews for Osvaldo and his impact on our entire event. You are basically guaranteeing a night of high energy and fun if you work with him!

Osvaldo DJ’d and MC’d our wedding in June and did an outstanding job. .. maybe better than any other wedding DJ I’ve seen. He was very professional, very punctual, and paid really close attention to details that were important to us, like how to pronounce our names correctly as we made our «grand entrance» during the reception. For the dancing & music portion of the wedding, we had high expectations because we know Osvaldo has lots of experience DJing large parties, but even so, he surpassed our expectations by far. Beyond adhering to our please-​play and please-​do-​not-​play lists, he threw in a few Romanian songs for my husband’s family, and somehow managed to make my love for ‘90s hiphop fit well with my husband’s love for euro pop and Journey.
One thing that really stood out about working with Osvaldo was his flexibility. We had to make last-​minute changes to the plan due to strange and stormy June weather, but Osvaldo was able to bring extra equipment and work flexibly around the new less-​than-​ideal situation. He did a really outstanding job, and we received a lot of glowing feedback about him from our guests. We highly recommend him.

I’d heard about DJ Osvaldo from his doing some gigs at my school, so I took a chance and hired him as my wedding DJ. That was risky (as anyone who’s made a wedding decision and asked his bride-​to-​be to trust him on it knows), but in this case it turned out to be a great call.
We made a list of songs to play, told Osvaldo which songs we *had* to hear, which we’d like to hear, and which songs to play for our first dance, the cake cutting, etc. Other than that, we left everything up to him. (I.e., we didn’t give him a playlist in order or anything.) And he came through wonderfully. He got (and kept) people dancing, switched from each song smoothly into a great follow-​up, and made sure everyone was happy.
He also took care of all his own equipment (set-​up and break-​down), coordinated with the venue staff, guided guests during dinner, and generally went above-​and-​beyond what we’d hoped he would do.
I’d recommend his services for any wedding. I’ve never seen him perform at an actual «dance» or anything, so I can’t say much there, but from the mixing I heard at our wedding I wouldn’t be surprised if he were excellent in that environment as well.
