This place is CONFUSING !!! I have recommended out of town guest to come here but have never actually eaten here myself. Today I decided to join my guest and it took 15 mins to even place an order. There were people waiting for Lattes for a very very long time, it was so bad they had to just leave without a refund. The whole where to order and where to pick up thing is Super out of wack. The poor girl at the front register looked very confused. The overall wait time for take out breakfast in a non crowded place was 35⁄40 mins. It was insane. Despite the fact they kept giving people the wrong order(especially felt bad for this very elderly couple). When we got home the food was pretty good, they did give us a cup full of syrup instead of honey for tea lol. I don’t think I would risk returning it was way too time consuming. The only upside is they added chicken to my mom’s side salad for free. Food not bad, too unorganized for my liking.

Went to Panera’s methed-out younger brother yesterday for some lemonade and a cookie, easy right? Not for this meth-head here. He can’t even dress himself so how is he going to give me a descent cookie and lemonade??? Enough analogies, let’s break it down. «Monster»(MnM) Cookie– You need to be an actual«monster» with«monster teeth» to crack into this thing. The secret ingredient in this cookie must be chromium, the strongest metal on earth for all you nerds. Dorks. Tasted like trash– did not finish: 0⁄10 stars. Lemonade– To keep this nerdy theme going, it tasted like they added sulfuric acid to their lemonade. My tongue wanted to divorce me after I beat it with this lemonade. I don’t even blame it– I should be in jail. Seriously, add some sugar and water to the lemonade. It’s lemonade, not lemon juice. Reading must be difficult for this incompetent staff. If fact, I think that they wanted to apply to Panera but couldn’t read and applied here instead. 0⁄10 stars. Coke/Sprite– I dumped the lethal lemonade out and refilled to try to the toxic sprite and knockoff– 99-cent-store– coke. These tasted like the soda line and the sewer lines were connected– how do you mess up coke and sprite??? 0⁄10. Fire the staff. Close this place down. Don’t ever come back.

I walked in and the place was dead. Placed my order(salad and sandwich), and started waiting. And waiting. And waiting. After almost 40 minutes of waiting, I went up to the register to ask when my food would be ready, and that my lunch break was almost over. Another woman chimed in and said she’d been waiting even longer then me! I found out my order STILL wasn’t ready, so I demanded a refund and walked out. I got nothing but an attitude from the manager. I’d never been to this chain before, but after today’s experience, I will NEVER be back.

Update… I came in for breakfast and they didn’t give my right orders and when they redid it, it wasn’t completely right. The staff was mediocre that morning. Probably not coming back frequently anymore cos this experience. It will happen again with the ppl they had working these days. Their sweets on the bakery section were limited and not as appealing as it could have been. Oh wells not my go to place where I’ll be here often anymore.

Very disappointed! Food was tasteless; waitress had«no clue» what she was doing. Unilocal is usually a huge help to us when traveling. This time was not a winner. We will not return.

The speed of the food was a bit slow, so if you don’t have a lot of time, I would not recommend this place for breakfast. But if you are planning on socializing for a long time, and would like a nice atmosphere to talk, I would highly recommend it, the temperature was perfect, and the food was top notch. Vary nice experience all around, eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the bacon was the best I’ve ever had. The décor was beautiful, modern and vibrant. Definitely a place I’d like to eat at again.

On par with your Panera and other similar soup and sandwich shops. Pretty good stuff. Plus they have Dr. Pepper.

Here for a quick breakfast. Service was excellent and the staff incredibly friendly. I was actually taken aback considering we are in the northeast with the politeness. Had a delicious breakfast panini with fresh fluffy eggs, bacon and cheddar cheese, grilled on a crispy panini. Yum!

Haiku: Corner bakery, not much to write home about. Just medium. The food is average (although the dressings are great), Portions are small-ish. Dry, mediocre sandwich experiences. Soup was quite decent. The place is kept clean Which is actually great! +1 point for that! Got take out with friends Staff was friendly; food came quick. Forgot the fork, though.

I’ve been here for lunch 3 times and my food was good every time. My favorite is there Chicken Pomodori on Sourdough is out of this world. It’s like an upscale Panera.

Workers are rude and act like they don’t want to be there. My little sister ordered eggs and pancakes. When the food came out her eggs were rotten and they decided to tell us that they don’t serve syrup… Like what? Mom ordered a salad that was 90% bread . Dad ordered a «Cuban sandwich» which btw… Shame on them for trying to call it that. It was nowhere near a Cuban sandwich and certainly didn’t taste like one. Coffee was old . Don’t recommend it and wouldn’t return. Wish I could give it no stars. Way too pricey for food that is not worth half of what they ask for.

Thoroughly enjoy Corner Bakery. I have eaten here a couple of times as well as the location in Princeton and they are both always on point. The food was hot fresh and delicious. On a hot day their lemonade is absolutely delicious and if you have a sweet tooth… well there’s pretty much nothing you can go wrong with there. However I would recommend the chocolate chip cookies and the brownie… Yummy!

Now I know what your thinking. This place is a direct competitor with Panera. Well all I can say is, they try. Let’s start with the food. The breakfast and lunch menu look delicious. A little expensive which is expected, but you get your food and you think to yourself, «where is the rest of it?» Or «is that it?» Now the reason is because if you are eating in. The food is like ½ a serving. I wouldn’t really mind the small portions if the food was good. I give their food a 2 out of 5 and that’s being generous. I Ate here 2 – 3 times a week for two months because it was convenient, but there was always a problem. Panera is 1 mile away, so why wouldn’t I right? Well these were the issues: food was burnt, something was missing, it tasted funny etc… And I wasn’t having it anymore. Their Broccoli Cheddar tastes weak and watered down almost(my favorite soup). All their soups are below par. Now something I cannot complain about, their delicious pastries. They have a good amount mouth watering goodies that anyone would love. If you are looking for some dessert and it’s there go on in and grab some. Staff. Customer service is also lacking. Corner Bakery’s employees are not very enthusiastic to be there. You can tell. The food takes forever to get and make and it creates long lines! Lunch time is short, there’s no time to wait 20 minutes to get food. Overall I may not go here again, but that bothers me. This place has so much potential to be a great option for whatever one is in the mood for. I may give it another shot, but I may just drive to Panera instead.

I am in love with this place. I wish I worked in the area so I could have lunch here. I have been here four times already and have never had a bad experience. The food is always good! I’ve had the mac and cheese and I remember it being super delicious. The bacon really adds to the flavor just like it should. Also had a combo(half sandwich and a soup). Boy was the portion size perfect! I was full and not uncomfortable. The baked chips that come with the sandwiches are just like Panera’s chips in my opinion. Which is a great thing, they are perfectly salty. This place has a very calm vibe as well. A great place to eat and get some work done. If you ever come here, get their chocolate chip cookie. Oh my gosh they are super good. They are so soft and have big chunks of chocolate in them. Every time I go I make sure I take one home. Something about them! I am in love!

I was on the Stelton road looking for Panera bread on a cold night, saw this restaurant and got in. Their menu is similar to Panera but its different in its own ways. The Lemon Chicken Orzo soup was simply amazing. The vegetarian California sandwich okay. A little bit too oily. Definitely going again test taste other soups and sandwiches. Will update soon.

You want some great food and friendly staff? This place is dishin’ out some amazing food with a smile on everyone’s face! I’ve had the steak and cheese as well as the pasta carbonara, both were excellent. JP, an employee, made my time there enjoyable. I do not eat pork and the pasta carbonara comes with it so when he noticed that it contained bacon, JP immediately took it back and had it made for me without bacon. My recommendations would be the steak and cheese, the pasta carbonara, as well as the pasta cavatappi. You GOTTA check this this place out!

I loved my food(soup and salad) and trying the coffees. You order at the counter and serve yourself coffee and you choose where you want to sit with a table number card where they bring your food after you’ve settled in. Weirdly, one of the employees kept walking around periodically spraying an air freshener… I’m trying to enjoy my food and get some studying done, not get high off febreeze. Great ambience, lots of outlets available so we can charge our fantastic smartphones with terrible batteries, or plug in a laptop and get work done.

Meh… nothing spectacular. It’s like a panera bread but seems like it has fewer choices for food. Coffee is very good though. I could flip a coin to go to either panera or this place.

I was surprised to see this place next to Red Robin. It’s similar to a Panera, maybe a little more pricey. After you order, they give you a number and someone will go out and bring your food wherever you are sitting. I had the soup and the bundt cake and both were very good. They have different sandwiches, breads, salads and chilies. I will be going back during lunch. PLUS you can order online =) They also offer free WIFI, so it’s going to be a good place to go and do some work. They are opening one in the Shoppes at North Brunswick as well.
