IHOP

The disgusting bug, the size of a half dollar, that was crawling around the floor and on the booths near the kitchen was the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. This place is so dirty. If there were bugs that size in the dining room, I can only imagine what is crawling around the kitchen and getting into your food. I like my dining experiences free of creepy crawlers, so this place is on my list of NEVER GOING BACK.

Hi i am writing this review to mention a good breakfast joint we went to have brunch here n teied veggie omlet n pan cakes n loved it all top of that server were polite n humble nice place quiet ambience wud recommend this to everyone

I have never had a bad experience at any IHOP I have visited! And this location was no different! Food is good and fast! No doubt filling! The pancakes and waffles are a great guilty indulgence! The service was good and the prices are reasonable! Thumbs up!

How can one not like ihop. Though my visiting times are first thing in morning when the waiters and waitress are not aggravated from dealing with people all day.
The food is always what you expect. Good and filling. Remember that breakfast is the best meal off the day. After eating here. It takes me thru lunch time till get home for dinner. But this is only a one a month thing. Could get expensive to eat here 2 – 3 times a week.
Today the breakfast sampler. Couple eggs, bacon, sausage and piece of ham with pancakes. Filling but not stuffed. Good to hold me through my day.

My fav is steak tips and eggs comes with mushrooms and onions and pancakes.
The country friend steak is amazing the gravy is YUM!

I’ve been to the other ihops in the area and this is by far the worst one. The service was absolutely atrocious, the hostess was texting on her phone and didn’t notice us on our way in or out. The waiter didn’t get us a single refill the entire 30 minutes we were there, and just overall wasn’t nice. Also, they had no ketchup. In the entire building. Horrible meal, horrible service ¹⁄₅. The best ihop would be the one on parsonage road.

If you don’t go for breakfast, you will have to do a search and rescue for an employee to seat you because around dinner time they’re half staff.
The service is never amazing.
The food is pretty standard for an IHOP.
Unlimited coffee refills are my favorite part.

Waiter was sloppy, keep touching his face and passing hand over his hair confuse on order very very sloppy

The best part about this place is that it is 24 hours. Good food and the service is okay. The other patrons were loud and were playing loud music videos which was very annoying. Could have been a lot cleaner. There were tables that were not cleaned off even though the place was almost empty. I would recommend getting take out from here instead.

So I went there for breakfast as I had a BOGO coupon. When I was ready to pay cashier said they could not accept coupon as the we have ordered from the «limited time» menu and as a result our breakfast items were considered special offers. Never going back to that place again to this filthy place as they stole my money and refused to honor coupon.

The employees are very friendly especially our waiter Chris who we have had a few times now. He is very attentive. The banana and nutella crepes are very fresh and taste delicious.

Service:. Service is below average. When we walked in, the hostess was in a bad mood. The place was not crowded at all, yet the server didn’t really check on us.
Food: we ordered strawberry rhubarb Crossaint waffles with scrambled eggs n hash browns and strawberry n cream crepes. Everything was good but the Croissant waffles were amazing. Their coffee had an after taste. not sure if it was the creamer or the coffee itself

First time at this IHOP, and it is already making me want to leave within the first 10 minutes. My girlfriend and I came in and the hostress did not greet us. Instead she was too busy on her phone chatting with her coworkers. I had to say something for her to see us, and she responded with «did you just get here?» in a sassy voice. I ignored it and said yes and we went to the table. As i was looking at the menu, i was distracted by what the waiters were doing. They were dancing, playing music on their phones, texting left and right, in front of the customers. Such unprofessional work ethics. I swear this is something you see on the food network on that restaurant disaster show. The worst thing is the manager doesnt do anything. She does the same thing! On her phone and chatting away. Plus left the front unintended at times when customers were waiting. Also employees eating next to customers. The atmosphere made me feel like i was on a college campus again.
Pro: good food, and some nice waiters.

If it wasnt for our amazing waiter Christopher, and food we would have left.

*Corned Beef Hash is fresh and delicious. Hash Browns are crispy yet light.
*Country Fried Steak is crunchy and very flavorful. Comes in huge portions!
*Chicken and Waffles is superb. There are four pieces of waffles, and four chicken tenders. It was the perfect amount to use a different flavor of syrup for each waffle. I liked the Old Fashioned flavor the most, followed by Strawberry, Butter Pecan, and Blueberry. Strawberry and Blueberry flavors taste just like ice cream sundaes, which is great but Blueberry was too much for me. Butter Pecan is too light. The chicken tenders were good, but nothing extraordinary.

My daughter and I went to breakfast the other day at IHOP in Piscataway. Our host Raul was very pleasant and great, however, another male employee worker, who I believe cleans up areas, made my daughter uncomfortable by gawking at her. Another mother came in with her much younger teen daughter and my daughter caught this grown male worker staring at the girl and said something obscene that was inappropriate. The establishment itself, is nice, efficient and clean but I felt uncomfortable patronizing an establishment that have anyone who does not know how to control their lustful distasteful ways and manifests unprofessionalism.

Is it cranky Wednesdays or something? The service at piscataway ihop seems to be getting worse and worse. I am not a regular but I do go every so often with my boyfriend. We walked in and weren’t even greeted or asked anything and were just sat down with menus. Then our waitress comes. She seems nice but her service was not so great. First, she brings out side pancakes when we ordered the hash browns — I called her over and told her he ordered the hash browns. Two, She didn’t apologize for her mistake. And three, when we went to go pay the manager did not ask how everything was but just held her hand out for payment.

I don’t think I will be coming here so often anymore. I really liked ihop but they really need to up their staff and give better service.

It’s IHOP… same as any other, staff is really friendly and place is clean, open any day and 24h. Great for when working overnights.

Hot, delicious buttermilk pancakes available 24 hrs every day??? You bet I’m gonna give a place like that 4 stars. Yea it’s a chain but hey you get good sized portions for the price that you pay for. They also have a variety of pancakes, omelets and etc. The good thing about this place is that although it’s a chain they don’t skimp out on their ingredients. I always get the Colorado omelet and it’s consistently had a generous portion of meat, cheese and vegetables. The pancakes have been consistently good too.
This chain is always packed on weekends, it’s a good thing that it’s bigger than the Edison chain so you don’t have to wait to be seated.
The staff are nice and courteous. 1 star off for the bathroom. It needs constant cleaning up.

The food isn’t as good as I remember it to be I got 3 pancakes/​3 eggs and hash browns. The hash browns seemed like less than usual. It is standard ihop food with mediocre service (didn’t keep water glasses filled). Great place to go for food, but I’m not sure if I would go out of my way to come here.

I came here randomly one night with my dad. We were looking for some late night grubs around midnight, and there was a big «OPEN 24 HRS» sign on the window.
When I walked in, there was only 1 person working in the capacity of the hostess, the waitress, and the busgirl. OK, not the busgirl because I don’t think she actually cleared any plates. There were dirty dishes lying all over the place from people who already ate and left.
Since it was so late at night, and we were also in the middle of nowhere, essentially, there were only 3 other tables occupied.
I ordered the soup of the day, which was the chicken tortilla. It was so incredibly salty. I couldn’t even finish my measly bowl. I’m in good health, but I was fairly certain that the amount of sodium I was ingesting would cause my cholesterol to shoot through the roof.
My dad ordered the Colorado omelette, which is just an omelette full of meat. I haven’t been to an IHOP in a while, but I think the portions got smaller…
Anyways, despite being the only waitress in the entire place, she did a pretty good job checking up on us every now and then.
The only disparaging thing about this particular IHOP were all the dirty dishes lying on the other tables near us.
