Don’t go here. If you do, stick to the walnut shrimp. Had the Mongolian BBQ and the beef I had tastes awful. I think it had gone bad. Please don’t go here!

Went here as a result of being close to the Motel 6 I was staying at. The room had one other table in use and we pretty much had our run of the place The soup was above average but the salad bar was really more of a bar for the Mongolian bbq not really a salad bar as traditionally known. We ate quite a bit of Chinese and Mongolian. The ribs and honey shrimp/tempura shrimp were very good. Unfortunately drinks are not included in the price but that is not clearly marked anywhere. Overall it was ok other than the dessert bar, which was skeletal and unappealing. I also thought the meat placed out for the bbq could have been on ice or something other than just sitting there.

Never again. Food was old and this was at dinner time. Should have got the Mongolian as it would have been hot. The food was terrible and even the fruit for desert was not ripe. The bathrooms were dirty and smelly and had about 6 deodorizers in the room. Then when the bill came I asked for senior discount and she demanded to see my drivers license. I am 62 and the discount is for over 55 and I guess I should have been happy but the way she made me take my license out of my wallet all for 10% discount. Stay away from this place.

If no stars was an option then that’s what I’d choose. The waiters are rude, the place doesn’t look clean, the food isn’t good and a lot of it looks old. I don’t even understand how this place could have 2 ½ stars, it’s too many for this dump.

Before heading back home, my family and I wanted to grab lunch. First, my parents wanted to do buffet, but it was closed. Then my dad wanted Chinese food, but the place we went to seemed closed too. After waiting in the traffic for 30 min or so, my dad saw Dragon Buffet, and decided to just go there. First thing we saw when we came in was an empty place. Um, around lunch time and it’s empty? What’s going on? It didn’t phase us. We were seated and got ready to get food. Their food selection is very small, maybe 10 – 15 items, including the soups. I had a bit of fried rice, fried chicken, egg roll, cream cheese wonton, buttered potatoes, and hot and sour soup. Well, the best thing I liked on that list was the soup. The rice was very dry. The chicken was too soft to be fried chicken. The egg roll was bland. The cream cheese wonton was bland AND the wrapping was stale. The potatoes was just gross. It seemed like they cooked everything when they open the place, but nobody came in, so it was just sitting there. Thinking that since the buffet part was disappointing, I’ll try to Mongolian BBQ, hoping it was better. Nope I was wrong. They have their cut up meats in a bowl in ice. Other Mongolian BBQ places uses this dried up meat, not actual cut up meat like this place. Not sure how long the meat has been sitting out there for. Small selection of meats and veggies, and no sauce?! Lame! After you make your dish, you bring it to the counter and you have three choices-Mongolian sauce, hibachi sauce, or teriyaki sauce. THEY do the sauce for you. I don’t like that part. The noodles came out bland. I added sriracha and soy sauce which made it a little better. Then comes dessert. I had the tapioca pudding, almond cookie, and cream puff. Pudding was okay, but kinda took a risk on that because it was sitting out. The almond cookie was most likely store bought. And the cream puff was stale. The lady asked if we wanted ice cream, so my sisters and mom said OK. When she came back out, it was one of those ice cream cups you buy at the store. Wtf? Ghetto. Ice cream was good, but, then again, it was store bought. Overall, my experience here wasn’t good. Food was less than mediocre, but the service was good. The ladies were nice the whole visit. I recommend you going elsewhere if you want good food.

Avoid this place at all costs! Got talked into coming here for lunch, and wow, terrible! Food was pretty tasteless, most of it was room temperature. Mongolian BBQ looked disgusting, raw meat sitting next to veggies at room temp, wasn’t brave enough to risk the stomach ache. Dessert bar was pathetic, cream puffs were also room temp, gross!

Went here thinking it would be decent… I was wrong. The price was good but the food was terrible. Everything I had was cold. Their Mongolian BBQ had maybe 5 things you could put in it… when you take your bowl up to the counter they ask What sauce you want. I asked if they had any sauce without a fish base and they told me no. I asked if they had just regular teriyaki or soy sauce and they said no… I absolutely love Mongolian BBQ… this not only disappointed me but angered me as Well. What kind of Asian food restaurant does not have soy sauce! The salad bar was a joke… the only thing that was hot was the soup and it was bland. I will not be coming here again.

Wasn’t expecting much service since it’s buffet and that’s also Chinese but… We went there after ski on Saturday evening… didn’t get to check reviews coz we were super hungry… stale food. stale sushi… didn’t refill water or drinks… not much choices and stale food so stay away from this!!! Signs everywhere if you waste food they will charge extra… if you break table that’s $ 300.haven’t seen restaurant like this… The best I had was the fortune cookie!!!

Really enjoyed our dinner here! Was recommend by the motel front desk. Hot and sour soup was really good and flavorful. And all other stir fry dishes were fresh and yummy. Will definetly come back on our next ski trip !

We got there early so there was waiting time. There is plenty of parking spaces in the lot. Typical of a buffet, there was an udon bar, a mongolian bbq, and a dessert table aside from the requisite chinese spread. The sushi bar’s idea of a «veggie roll» was a strip of lettuce, I found. There was not a good variety of items.

Save your money and eat out of the dumpster. It will probably taste better.

This is the most disgusting buffet i have ever been too. The food are dry and from the looks of it the food was never been replaced with a fresh cooked food. The sushi doesnt taste fresh as well. The $ 65 i paid for is not worth it. Didnt go for seconds. This place is not worth the penny your paying. Think twice before coming to eat here. Doesnt deserve any stars in my book

Definitely have experienced better buffets. The only thing I can recommend with confidence food wise are the hot soups with the hour & sour being the best. The sushi is day old fresh at best. The meat in anything fried was questionable. The low mien was OK. The best part was the service. The young man & lady were on top of things. One other thing, we got there as lunch was changing to dinner and if we wanted to pay the dinner price, then we could eat the«Dinner Only» items. There was no added value to do so. The exterior of the place could use a landscaper.

Ew Ew Ew. Negative 5 stars. I ate here for Sunday brunch because my friend had a Chinese itch that needed fixing, though not the kind of itch that lasts forever(but the memory of Dragon Buffet will last forever). So he found this effing place. This place is gross. Easily the grossest food I’ve ever eaten. It’s as if they went to Costco and bought up all the frozen«Chinese» foods they could find, then went back to the restaurant, rubbed a collective employee pool of spit over the food like an egg wash, put some soy sauce on it, warmed it in a microwave, let it sit for 7 days, then let you eat it. It’s been 2 days and all I can think about is how my mouth feels like the ecto-slime of the Pepper Sauce via the Steak & Pepper Sauce I put into my mouth. 3 things that happened: 1. This was the least amount of food I’ve ever eaten at a buffet. 2. My friend ate a fishball here. Wtf is wrong with him. 3. That night, we went to Taco Bell for dinner and proclaimed Taco Bell as «amazing.» Taco Bell is never«amazing.» It is just amazing when you eat it after you’ve eaten Dragon Bukakke. This place is gross. It should be shut down due to the high level of Ew it has produced.

With a group of 16 adults and kids. We had a problem getting reservations anywhere. We tried 3 restaurants before we settled on Dragon Buffet. First off, the food is okay. They offer a wide variety of Chinese food, soups and they even have a Mongolian buffet, where you get your vegetables, meats and noodles and the chef cooks it for you. The price is very reasonable, $ 10 or $ 11 per person for dinner. Then we go to food quality and cleanliness. I think I used the word«Ewww» a few times. Since we were a large group, we got shifted to a back room. It was their banquet room. It was big enough to accommodate 50 people, so the room was certainly big enough for us. Unfortunately it was also where they store things in. That’s were the first«Ewww» came into play. That was a dirty room. Employees left their jackets on a rack near the tables and let’s just say the aroma was not Chinese food. My wife and i wanted to try the Mongolian buffet area. The vegetable did not look good at all. But the worst part, the meat they had(I’m not even sure if it was beef or pork) beef I think was grey in color. «Ewww» The shrimp and squid were just on trays, no ice around them(how long had they been out). My wife didn’t want to get sick so she by passed the Mongolian part of the meal all together. I was brave enough and got together some vegetable & noodles and had the chef cook it for me. I think the jalapenos I put into it saved that dish, it was good. They had a section where they put the salad and dessert on one table. «Ewww» the salad was not appetizing to look at. They had 3 bowls, but only one had anything on it and it looked like it was some sort of cole slaw, maybe. I was not adventurous enough to try, sorry my fellow Unilocalers for letting you down. The dessert part was good and bad. When the orange fruit starts taking on jello red colors. «Ewww» I say those oranges had been contaminated at least by the jello, you think. They should just take it out and replace it. I tried the lycée and that was good. Of course canned lycée is one of my favorite dessert, can’t miss there. The mini macaroons were good and they give you a ton of fortune cookies. Again, the cooked food at the buffet was good. BUT, I would not come back. «Ewww»

Ew ew ew! This place was just flat out disgusting. I have never taken a bite of something at a restaurant and have had to spit it out because it was THAT gross… until I went here. Never again! Go to Hunan Garden instead!

Sorry, I’m really annoyed by some of the«one star» ratings of this place. I think it’s probably deserving of around 3.5 stars. But with all the one-star ratings, I’m giving it 5-stars for compensation. First the complaints: The salad bar was weird(4 items?), the ice cream machine was broken, and the ambiance is nothing more than an old converted Denny’s. Now the good stuff: The Mongolian BBQ was first rate — fresh ingredients, lots of meat choices, fresh garlic, all kinds of veggies and greens and nuts, and 4 sauce choices. This alone is worth the $ 9.99 we paid for dinner buffet. It was hot and tasted great. The buffet table had some really good tasting items, and some so-so items. Avoid the so-so items and enjoy the good food. My favorite was the Walnut Shrimp — far better than Panda Express walnut shrimp. The crab legs were xlnt, as were the clams(hot), the hot-sour soup, and the generals chile chicken. Yes, I would come back any time. The people were really friendly too.

Ahh! This place makes me sad. Every time i drive by this restaurant I point and scream at it. I wanted something other than pizza and burger and fries, something ethnic, so I gave this place a chance(dim sum, chinese, sushi). This place is gross. For almost $ 13, the food was luke warm, looked like it’d been under the heat lamp for hours, half of the dishes were made with seafood — which normally would make any buffet worth it — but all of the seafood tasted weird and off — definitely not fresh. I’d rather drive to Carson City or Reno or Sacramento for my ethnic foods next time.

«I need something fast, cheap and filling!» pronounced my friend after shopping at the outlets. «Look! $ 6.99 for a buffet! Pull in here!» Uh, okay. I live up in North Shore, so I’m not as familiar with South Lake offerings, but $ 6.99 for a buffet pretty much guarantees mediocrity. But it’s 12:15 pm, and at least the food trays are filled with fresh offerings. I had 2 cups of the won ton soup and 2 of the sugary donuts which I usually love. I can’t remember any of the other dishes. Chicken legs must have been on sale at Costco, because every chicken dish had chicken legs in it. And then… a busload of Asian gamblers arrived. That was it — we had to leave once the place got overrun with the tourists.

I like this place. It’s cheap, it’s good, and it’s not too busy. I’ve come here twice already and this is probably the best asian buffet I’ve been to. I’m from SoCal and all the asian buffets I’ve been to down there are $ 13+(not including drinks) and have a bad selection of food. Ayce for lunch is $ 8.99 Ayce for dinner is $ 12.99 Ayce happy hour M-F 2−4pm is $ 6.99 There is also a 10% senior discount (Drinks are INCLUDED) This place is very clean and the servers bring your drinks and pick up your plates right away. The selection is pretty awesome, at least to me. It has everything that I like: lots of veggies, fish, noodles, seafood, chicken, beef, SUSHI, soup, salad, pot stickers, fried rice, and dessert. You can make your own stir fry and soup too which is pretty awesome! I really like this place. The food is always fresh, the selection has a lot of variety, and the service is very fast. Minus one star just because the dessert section kinda sucks, but that’s expected for an asian buffet haha.
