I love taking my little ones here to find goodies!

I found this place to be great. The selection was good and staff was helpful. One gal helped me pick out a frame for a painting I picked put there. Cute winter scene for our cabin. And the gal helping me informed me that frames were half off… so all totaled got a great painting and frame for $ 3! She was very accommodating as it was closing time and some of us were still trying to decide on purchases. Don’t forget to check the side yard outside. Found a recliner in great shape for $ 8!

Their glassware is super cheap and I bought a bunch of shot glasses to add to the cupboard. There game section is also nice if you’re looking for some new boardgames for your friends or family. Please prices were really good!

I am a thrift store addict. I have been to so many of them all over the western states. This one by far has the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Granted, I believe that some of them are volunteers, but still, have some decency. I feel like I am walking on egg shells every time I go in there. There are two nicer guys who work there though as cashiers that makes me smile whenever I see that they are the cashiers. The selection is pretty poor. I usually like to go down to Carson to Goodwill for better stuff. But this is not the fault of the store of course, they get what they can get. Usually, I just go in to see what books there are. I have stopped looking for clothing there as it is just a waste of time. The furniture is really hit or miss.

This place is the best. The prices are always fantastic and their volunteers are hard working and kind. If you stop in regularly, you can find just about everything you could ever need. Who needs Target or Walmart? The attic keeps every dollar local and there is no shipping or packing waste. The true green, local solution. Thanks for being here attic!

Minimal and pretty sad selection of furniture. Decent square footage. Some items have obviously been here for a while(you can tell by the thin layer of dust). Accepts Debit cards with a minimum purchase of five dollars. Stellar finds here & there — found a pair of Spider snow pants that had a tiny tear along an inner seam(easy fix) for $ 10. Found a Gymboree toddler snow jacket for $ 3. Seems like you have to swing by often to find the really good stuff — like brand new ski poles($ 8) or yards of unused fabric($ 4). Don’t let the«Vintage & Consignment» listing this is under on Unilocal fool you though; this isn’t a vintage thrift store. Or a nice consignment store. It’s kinda South Shore’s version of Goodwill. Best to go in expecting to find nothing — at least when you leave, you won’t be disappointed.

Large store with lots of stuff. Not much high quality stuff, though. Very nice inside staff.

It’s the biggest thrift store in South Lake, but it’s pretty schwag. Think low-grade Goodwill stuff, all pretty well picked over. I guess the trade off(i.e., the plus side) is that it’s cheap. There’s an occasional find, but not enough to bring me back on a regular basis.

Nice staff and a large place. The quality of goods is mediocre, and you have to search hard to find the good stuff. It is clean, benefits the local hospital, and is one of the few consignment shops in town, so I still go there.

It’s big and has good turnover, but there’s really not much quality here. Prices are good if you can find something you want.

Large place. Little old ladies work here and keep the place organized. Found lots of holiday stuff. They even have a long, fur coat available. Snow suits, too. I never thought I’d see underwear at a thrift store, but if you need underoos, here’s your place. There’s also a bin outside that contains free items to whomever wants it. They are serious about theft. Just in case you’re thinking of having sticky hands, don’t. Brings me to ask why someone would steal from a thrift store when the cost is nearly free?! I guess people have tried or they wouldn’t have the need to plaster signs everywhere.

This is the largest thrift store in town. The proceeds do benefit local charity so that’s nice. Some of the people who work in the donation area could learn some manners, but mostly they are all friendly.

I’ve been there a few times for odds and ends, but I decided never to go back when I went to drop off a donation. I’m assuming the A-hole with the ponytail they have recieving donations is there because the court ordered him to be. I pray he isn’t a payed employee! I have never been treated so rudely by someone I don’t know and it makes it particularly infuriating because I was giving them items for free to help sick kids. It felt like«Thanks for your s#%t now F OFF!!!» Sheeeeesh!

Fairly priced, no stank. It was pretty picked-over and many of the items look like they’ve endured a few too many winters outside on the patio of the store. Sadly there were no snow overalls for toddlers to be found. I scored an 80’s igloo lunchbox for fifty cents though!

So far every time I go I find a good deal. My only complaint is the store hours– they close really early on Saturdays.
