Cabot Curtis does very good work and is quick and gentle. He never recommends unnecessary work. When I was getting a crown, I was nervous that I would need a root canal as well. He recommended we just do the crown and he was right. It fixed the problem. They are also good to work with on making payments. I also appreciate that he will work on my children. It is so expensive to see a pediatric dentist for basic services. He is patient when they are nervous. I recommend Alpenglow.

As with another reviewer, my husband and I both went in to get a cleaning. He was told he had 1 cavity, I was told 3 and we needed to get them fixed. 6 months passes and we decide to go in for another cleaning, this time with a different dentist. Turns out neither of us have cavities and our teeth are, and I quote, «in excellent shape». Hmmm weird… Don’t go here, these guys just want your money.

I feel like even though this occurrence happened a few years ago, I think it is important for future (and current) patients to know that this place is dishonest. Weird, since it’s a dental office — but before I had insurance, I used a Groupon to get a cleaning and check up here since I couldn’t afford the full cost. I was told that I had four cavities. While I knew it could have been possible, I never had any cavities in my then 27 years of life. I was told I needed to come in and the procedure to fill them would cost me hundreds of dollars out of pocket (that I didn’t have on hand at the time). I never scheduled a time to get them filled because I just couldn’t afford it and I had a bad feeling about it. When I married and got insurance, I saw a new dentist and was told I was cavity free. I have seen that same dentist three times and each time have been cavity free. A cavity is permanent that can only be repaired by a dentist by getting a filling, so they lied to me about having cavities to try and make money off of me. I’m glad I took the chance and saved my hard earned money from these crooks!

Dr. Pickett was very very rude, unprofessional and i ended up having to get up and walk out because of his rudeness! I’ve never had an experience quite like that, ever in my life. :-(
The sad thing is I really really like the other two dentists I had seen for a couple years before the misfortune of having to schedule with Doctor Pickett.
I have been an RN for 28 years, and if I acted that way I would have been fired from my job. I am still traumatized from the way he treated me!

NOT AT ALL GENTLE. Go if you want to be in more pain. Receptionist lack professionalism. Too many dentist in an area to put up with that!

It was great going to dentist without asking work for time off. The after hours of the practice makes getting work done real easy. There is no reason why someone can not get there work completed with the office open late night and even appt on Saturday
Go see the they won’t bite nice group and professional work…

Dr. Raymond Curtis has been practicing dentistry for 30 years. He just moved to alpenglow after selling his established practice. He’s a highly skilled Dentist. I give Dr. Curtis my recommendation.
