Daniel Stebbins House Bed & Breakfast

We stayed for four nights over the Christmas holiday. The house is an elegant historic structure in a great location, an easy walk to Mount Holyoke College and the South Hadley village green. The proprietors are friendly and helpful.
The inn is tastefully furnished. Some B&B’s overdo it with the antiques and doilies, but this place has just the right mix of history and modern amenities. Our room (the Cream Room) was bright and cheerful. Bed was queen size and spine-​meltingly comfortable. WiFi is free and fast.
Breakfast was a hearty assortment of bagels, coffeecake, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. The owner made bacon and eggs every morning, all cooked perfectly to order.
We had a delightful stay and would not hesitate to visit again.

Loved being a guest at this beautiful B&B. My room was so pretty, I didn’t want to leave it. The hosts were the nicest people you could ever meet. Breakfast in the 2^nd floor dining room was lovely and Kate would offer to make you the breakfast of your choice. This B&B will be my to go to place when I return to So. Hadley, MA.

Beautiful old house. Wonderfully restored. Balcony overlooks Mount Holyoke playing fields. Owner is a friendly and helpful. Truly enjoyed my brief stay. Convenience to campus and quiet surroundings make Willets (on campus hotel) look positively shabby and uncomfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn to attend a summer wedding in the area. I attended the college down the street so I was aware of the inn and was so excited to have a reason to stay. It was a lovely experience! The inn itself is beautiful and quaint and the daughter and husband couple was so sweet and made us lovely hot breakfast on the porch both mornings we stayed. We stayed in the red room which was adorable and very clean. Living in a city, it was the perfect place to relax and get away. We will definitely be going back!

My wife and I have a daughter going to school in the area and have stayed at the Daniel Stebbins House on a number of occasions. The reason that we keep coming back is because it is always a great experience. The inn itself is a stately old home that has been meticulously restored. The rooms are beautifully furnished with period pieces and always sparkling clean. Breakfast is great and Ann, the owner, is eager to please but never intrusive. And the rates are more than reasonable. This has been a real lucky find for us and made our visits to the area over the past several years even that much more pleasant.

The place was not especially clean. Holes in the sheets. Hair in the bathtub. Microwave in the kitchen, disgusting. Breakfast was never cooked. My check out day, there was just the bill on my door. The only time I saw the owner was when I checked in. Just was not a b&b experience.

I was taking my daughter to camp in the area and we stayed overnight at the Daniel Stebbins House. Our room was lovely, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. It is within easy walking distance to the quaint downtown. Ann, the owner, and her husband were warm, gracious and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Una semana hermosa! Vinimos toda una familia y tuvimos los 4 cuartos y practicamente nos sentimos como en casa… los cuartos son muuuuy comodos! cada cuarto tiene su propio bano y la decoracion es muy tierna… Recomiendo este lugar 100%!

Ah, we had the best, the BEST stay there for Valentine’s Day weekend.
We were the only guests but there was an ample breakfast that was more than enough and coffee and tea access whenever we wanted.
The room (Cream Room) was ample and comfortable, with a really romantic gas fireplace.
Anne was amazing, as well and we felt very much at home here.
Highly recommended to all!
