Popeyes

Currently sitting in line for 30 mins now. Never have I ever spent this long in a drive thru. You would think they’re killing the chicken –_​– I also had to repeat my order 3 times. I hope the food is good at least. But, as I sit here in this god forsaken fast food line, I pray they get my order correct because heaven forbid I have to wait another 30 mins.

They took the wrong order and offered to replace the incorrect sides (we ordered MS and gave us fries). We didn’t touch the food but they took it out of the boxes and put it back… RED FLAG.
Get home and open the boxes to find ALL the sides with broken lids. Whoever switched them out smashed the lids on purpose. No amount of acceptable pressure should have broken those lids. Love popeyes but I will not be returning to this location.

Simply the best popeyes in the WORLD ! The crew is so nice and friendly especially raul and some girl named marisol. the managers ruben and joana always help if you need anything. This place is super fast and the chicken is always fresh crispy and delicious. The biscuits are always hot and the drive thru is super fast. Location is clean and the gas station is very convenient, wish i could give this place 1 million stars ! Beware of some lady named jannet she always charges for the sauce -.-

MEH exactly how I feel about this place. I haven’t been inside a Popeyes for about 7 years and so I am very unaware of their menu, specials etc. I asked the cashier if he could help me figure out a good deal as far as what to order for a group of 3 people. He read off the menu which I clearly could do myself. He was absolutely no help. The whole time he was speaking he wasn’t even looking at me. He was staring out at nothing. Anyways, I figured it out on my own thanks. A few minutes later as I’m waiting for my food, I see a bag on the counter just sitting there for about 2 mins. and I’m just standing there wondering if it’s mine. Finally one of the cashier’s asks the other «what’s up with this bag» and the same sleepy guy who took my order tells me «oh your food is ready» .Thanks AGAIN. This place sucks. I’ll give this place a second chance when I come back…7 years from now.

This place is nasty. I saw a cockroach on there menu sign. I told the cashier and he a first acted like there was nothing there until he saw me getting upset and then he got a napkin and killed it. I called customer service and it’s been like 3 months now and they still don’t call me back this place is nasty.

The best California Popeyes. Great customer service and food is always hot and fresh. Its connected to the Shell gas station. Its usually on the busy side so the food isnt sitting. This is the only Cali location my daughter will eat at.

Ok where to start… First off I gave them two stars solely because their food is good and their employees are nice BUT, the first time I went there I ordered a family meal and they told me to pull to the side and wait just five more minutes for the next batch to finish cooking. We waited for 30… Then when I went inside to check on my order someone ordered the exact same thing and got it right away. None the less they were kind and fixed the problem and even included a free gallon of iced tea.
The second time I went here we ordered a family meal again and waited 25 minutes. I wasn’t as mad because I was kinda expecting a wait this time. We finally got our food and went home but when we opened the box it wasn’t the tenders that we ordered. We called and informed them and the employee was really sweet and apologetic and told us to return and get the correct order. Now here’s where it gets a little upsetting…
We brought the chicken back and walked up to the front counter and he opened the box and put our chicken back in the pile of chicken! It was so nasty! Then what kinda got me was that after he did it he turned around and asked, «Wait, you guys didn’t touch any of it right??» I think it’s safe to say that no matter how good the food tastes I’m NEVER going back here again…

Popeyes here isn’t bad, located inside a gas station but suprisingly very clean and in order. Friendly staff and also has a drive through.
But PLEASE, PLEASE BEWARE of the gas station never use your credit card outside to pay for gas their pumps are Compromised i spoke to an attendant who openly admitted it, and said their not doing much about it. SO FELLOW UnilocalERS BEWARE.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I always go here for the 5 piece chicken strips and they are BOMB! Way better than KFC. The staff is nice and greeted me right when I walk in.

YUMMY… this POPEYES is the closest thing to the NEW ORLEANS ONE! THEY always have the chicken hot and its always fresh. I pass at least 5 other Popeye to come to this one cause i know its always… GREAT!

The manager has the worst attitude at this location, after waiting over 20 minutes for my order I went to the counter only to be treated with disrespect then my order was wrong at that .
I asked for my money and left

I went through the drive-​through tonight. The young man inside started speaking with a so-​called Southern accent, which I thought was weird. after placing my order, the guy asks,“Is that all you want, boy?” Wait, WHAT? I cancelled my order, continued through the drive-​through and asked if they were serious. I called later to speak to the manager on duty and GUESS WHAT? There was no manager on duty.
If that’s the kind of childish foolishness in the restaurants in our community, then we don’t need them…

I eat here quite often and I have always had a positive experience. The chicken is very flavorful and the red beans and rice are great! The employees have always been friendly. I haven’t had the same problems I read in the other reviews, so I even checked to make sure I was reviewing the same Popeye’s since there were so many mentions about bad customer service. Something I do have to mention though is the most incredibly oddest thing ever… they require ID if your purchase is over $ 25. Really? WTH kind of sense does this make? What could possibly be the purpose for this bizarre requirement? This is Popeye’s, they are pretty expensive, so it’s quite easy for your order to go over that amount. I just think that is the oddest thing ever, and I will never order more than $ 25 because I am not showing ID to buy chicken. That’s just ridiculous.

The prices increased. But the food is still good. It is fast food after all.

TERRIBLE service. great chicken!!! they forgot my mashed potatoes and the girl at the drive thru told me to pull forward. there was no one behind me the whole time! pull forward for what. are their customers being timed at the drive thru. does your manager or you like to cheat the system? the same girl was ‘mad dogging’ me the whole time! I hate to use that word but seriously. last thing. the food was very expensive In my opinion. $ 9 for a combo? insane. who can afford to eat anymore?

As I sit here for the third week in a row enjoying Popeye’s Spicy Fried Chicken, I realize that I actually like the Taste, Crunch and Juiciness of the Chicken here more than I do the Amazing price of $ 1.29 for two pieces (leg & thigh, Tuesday’s only). And what I’ve also found this week is that on Tuesday’s they have $ 1 drinks and 2 for $ 1 biscuits as well. Hard to beat this deal anywhere!
Simply put, if you Love Chicken and Biscuits you can eat here on the Cheap on Tuesday’s. No need to thank me… I just Love Good Food at Great Prices and feel the need to tell others!!! ^_​~

How unusual is it to find a Popeyes at a gas station? However it does add an extra convenience to those looking to help cure their hunger strike without making an extra stop. You’re better off stopping by while gassing up or walking here if you live close by because the parking here is terrible. Especially if you are looking to dine in which I don’t recommend at all. Most people come on Tuesdays for the 2 for $ 1.29 special. I am not sure if there is a limit but they have either mild or spicy flavors. KFC used to have Spicy but I’m not sure why they stopped serving it. I would recommend Popeyes over KFC or Church’s anyday. Service is a bit slow but ok. Restaurant is clean for the most part and the people do their job here. This location is mainly for those looking to get their food and go because dining in any food establishment situated at a gas station is downright tacky. SMH.

2 stars because I know other popeyes are not this bad! I absolutely love popeyes from Anaheim and this place is closer to my house so I thought I would give it a try. Customer service is non existent in this location! No sense of urgency and the employees are just rude! I will never come to this location again and I recommend you don’t try it either!
Food is a –10 yes negative 10! The chicken taste like it was made weeks ago and totally dried out with no spiciness (we ordered spicy) because it was so old! How could you serve something like that to paying guests! Would you want to eat old dried out fried chicken with no flavor? This place needs to get it act together! The employees should know better than to serve such food! They should think; If I wouldn’t wanna pay and eat what I’m serving then I shouldn’t serve it!!!
Out of control! Only thing that tasted fresh and like normal Popeyes were the biscuits and the fries! the Corn tasted overly soaked and super soggy and old to the point that the kernels were just falling off as we took the corn out of the bag. The mashed potatoes were dry and old and the coleslaw tasted warm and not cold or cool! Could have been from the hot chicken but still you could get people sick if it is not properly stored! ugh cannot say enough BAD things about this location! Beware and weary if you come here!

But I cannot ever give Popeyes a low rating. esp. the self-​serve fountain drinks.
Anyways, the usual est. however, stuck or connected to a liquor store. Good thing is that they have drive through and they are pretty clean there.
Worth it!

Ok so it was about 9:45pm & starving after a busy day, since we had cash on us we decided to go to CASH ONLY Popeye’s…while getting in the car I called ahead to make sure it was still open…“We’re open until 10:30pm, I suggest you come before 10:15pm to ensure you get what you want, cause after 10:15 we only sell what we have cooked” GREAT, since I live about 5 minutes away… so I order a 3 piece spicy mixed meal…“Sorry we only have breasts in Spicy” WHATEVER also order a 5 piece spicy chicken strip…“let me check if we have chicken strips”…WTF why can’t I get what I want?
Oh & to agree with the other posts… DO I HAVE TO BE TOLD 3 TIMES, CASH ONLY!!!
