Excellent service. Honest mechanics who tell you the cost of the repair prior to getting serviced. I came here last minute on a Monday and they fixed my car in a 4 hour time span. My car’s check engine light was showing that I possibly needed a new camshaft sensor. The mechanic was honest right off the bat and told me this was most likely the cause of my car’s troubles, however it could be just something associated with the sensor, such as wiring and that they couldn’t be sure until a new sensor was put in. I really appreciated this because they didn’t give me any false hope and I knew what was going on. My car was done in a few hours and has seemed okay ever since. They issued me a very detailed receipt explaining all the work that was done as well as the communication between us. Very pleased. They also sent me a thank you note to my house for thanking me for going to them. I will definitely be returning.

First time customer since we’re new to the neighborhood. They did a 60k maintenance on my 2010 Nisan Versa, service was quick and the price was good. I was able to drop it off the day before and pick it up after hours. I love doing business with local businesses and we’ll be back to A&D when our other car is due for service.

Al and his crew have been servicing my family’s vehicles for about 20 years. I started going there because it was nearby but even after I moved 8 years ago, I continue to go there for one reason: trust. They are always honest and upfront with what does (and does not) need replacing. His prices are reasonable (not the cheapest, not the most expensive) but the workmanship and integrity mean that I am not paying for things that weren’t done properly or things that didn’t need to be done in the first place. I highly recommend A&D Auto.

A&D Auto Repair in South Bound Brook, NJ, is awesome. I called to make an appt for a sudden problem/​noise in my Suburu. After I described the symptoms, Al explained the cause of the problem and said I don’t need an appt or repair work. What a relief. His explanation was totally logical and my car runs fine tonight. Great honest shop. He’s done work on my other vehicles with expediency and fair pricing. I’m not related to anyone working there.

Al and Rob always take the time to explain everything in detail. Their work is good and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend trusting them with your vehicle.
