We were on our way to a wine tasting in Sonoma and decided to grab a bite before sipping the sips. Picazo café was the first thing we saw, it looked quaint from the outside but we decided to try it out. We were very pleasantly surprised by the comforting interior(with strong AC!) as well as the nice porch area in the back. On top of that, the food was reasonably priced, came quickly and tested great! 5⁄5 would recommend

Get the French toast. Seriously. Like breakfast funnel cake.(Unless you don’t like funnel cake. Or French toast.) But seriously. My only complaint is they have a fly issue, but we sat at a table away from the windows and it was better.

I went to their food stand at Off the Grid today and had the fried chicken sandwich with fries. It was delicious.

Kind of bummed. My first experience was great. However, every experience thereafter has not been. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and they forgot the modification. Ordered the turkey burger and it was very dry and bland. Ordered the Hawaiian sandwich and it was not good. Said grilled ham… it was lunch meat. I asked the woman if it came with a side, she told me a side of mac salad. I’m not even joking… it was the smallest«side» I’ve ever seen. It was a sample. A little cup with 6 noodles in it. Think I’m joking? I’ll post a picture. Bottom line, I’m very forgiving but this is simply ridiculous and bad business. I’m disappointed.

Been here twice for just coffee and pastries. And only stopped in because it was on my route towards SF and on Arnold Drive in the Glen Ellen, Sonoma area it’s about the only quick eats option. Decent coffee. Overpriced pastries.

Wonderful little spot and really friendly staff. Inexpensive, delicious and freshly made breakfast– the croissant sandwich was to die for! Don’t blink or you’ll drive right by this place. I didn’t eat any of the pastries out of the case but everything looked awesome and the people working there were fantastic.

Chilaquiles — somehow they managed to soak each chip in magical sauce while maintaining a crunch underneath, even 20 minutes into the meal. Easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in wine country.

Great food, great people, great prices! The Acai berry bowl was an awesome light breakfast and the chicken over grilled vegetables was an awesome light dinner! Highly recommended! Great spot!

Nice picnic tables and delicious food. Enjoyed the portobello burger and their regular burgers are fab. I love the creative menu and choices. The coffee is strong and black.

Everything was to die for. We had a grass-fed beef & shredded brisket cheddar cheese burger, veggie quinoa dish, and ahmazing pastries. The burger which used great quality buns that had a crunch to it. We also had grilled veggie kabobs with quinoa & Thai curry-like sauce. Then, we picked up a twisted pastry for later & they added a apple strudel for us! Great find. We’ll definitely come back!

Absolutely loved it! We were originally going to have lunch in downtown Sonoma and are so glad we decided to come here. What a find! Thanks Unilocal!I had a delicious spinach salad with a glass of Pinot Noir and my husband had a burger and fries and IPA that he said was amazing. We will definitely be back! The back patio was relaxing, sunny and just what we needed while enjoying our day in Sonoma.

We had heard the buzz about this place but had never tried it. What a sweet find. They’ve done a great job decorating and creating a wonderful atmosphere. I had the Bison burger and it was simply delicious. The fries were a must! Service was a little slow but worth the wait. Turns out they make their own pastries so I bought two croissants for the next morning. Someone knows how to bake! Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Stopped at this little hole in the wall diner for breakfast while visiting Sonoma. Ordered the french toast with bacon and coffee. The coffee was just ok. The french toast though… was pretty frickin tasty. It was encrusted in something that gave it something extra and different. in a good way! I would definitely recommend it. Customer service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Wished I could have stayed and tried their burger since it seems to be one of the best in the area. Maybe next time :)

Very good burger and fries. Laid back atmosphere with a large outdoor seating area. You order at the counter then the food is brought to your table. Good selection of beers on tap too. Would definitely go back.

Taking this one down to one star. On the last try the did the same thing again. Ordered a cappuccino in a mug and after waiting 10 mins I got it in a to go cup!!! They seem to have pretty good food but we’ve been consistently disappointed with the service. For the second time I was served my cappuccino in a to-go cup. I specifically asked for it to not be in a to go cup. I was then given the same drink dumped into a coffee mug. You can’t teach culture I guess. On both occasions we had to remind the waitperson about our food which was late and on one occasion the food order had been forgotten completely. On one occasion the order was incorrect. I love to give them a chance as a local patron but I won’t be coming back for cappuccinos.

Heard the menu expanded to include burgers! Yay! Took the(picky) Darling Mother for lunch today so we could eat outside in the gorgeous weather. DM had a turkey and cranberry sandwich which delighted her by having slices of crisp pear. She loved it and said the roll tasted freshly baked. I had the B & B burger(bacon and bleu). OMG! I would go back for dinner and have another. The grass fed beef patty was perfection and the bun was a revelation-crispy AND soft– and worth going back for, but the whole thing was a perfect example of the sum being greater than the parts. Just order it, eat and thank me. How-did I mention the fries? No? Well, they were shoestring, crisp, delectably sprinkled with coarse salt. The measure of this plate is that I never felt weighted down. Just a fantastic balance. Hm… maybe it isn’t too far to drive for dinner, after all… And somehow, even though you order at the counter, they manage to make it effortless, charming and you feel quite spoiled.

Fantastic lil diner off the beaten path!!! I had a green salad w avocado and oranges. My husband enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich w/beans, fries and a side of the 7-cheese Mac&Cheese. BTW, the Mac&Cheese is to die for!!! A cute outdoor dining patio is festive and fun for any occasion. We did see a wine and beer selection up at the register, but we had to drive and both had water with our meals.

Excellent choice! Thank you fellow Unilocalers for this find. Needed a convenient and reasonably priced place for a late lunch before we hit the vineyards. My mixed green salad with chicken was fresh and tasty. We also got the golden chicken Sandwich which was freaking awesome on a soft roll. Got a side of fries and omg… we looked like the hungry hungry hippos game. Couldn’t eat them fast enough. Golden and crispy mmmm. Staff is also super friendly and food came out fast. Will return!

Found this place thanks to trusty Unilocal. Stopped here for brunch on our way to Napa. We ordered some baked goods idk what they were I don’t eat that stuff, apparently they were good. I ordered a spicy sausage omelette. It was spicy! But I’d totally order it again. The potatoes were good too. My cousin ordered the veggie with no olives and chorizo. It was really good. My aunt ordered the veggie. It was ok, but something about the black olives was weird with eggs. The cappuccino was on point. Perfectly frothy and heavenly. If I were ever to be the area again I’d stop here for sure. I also really liked how even tho it wS breakfast you could get lunch if you wanted it.
