This store is alright but they really need to price the products. I dislike having to ask how much everything is.

I’m a fan. Super friendly folks and as others have said, excellent fresh tacos. Good meat, fresh veggies and a wonderfully spicy sauce on two corn tortillas. I also tried their burrito — meat and fillings were good but too much rice for my taste, so next time I’ll order it without rice. They have lots of Mexican products as well as all the soda, water and munchies you’d need. There is also a case of Mexican style cookies and breads. Grab lunch and snacks here then head for a nearby winery or the Quarryhill Botanic Garden which has some nice shaded picnic tables just beyond the parking lot.

Delicious tacos for $ 1.50 — a welcome break from too much rich food and wine. Don’t be put off by the modest exterior — the tacos are fresh and tasty and worth a stop!(On the way to the next winery…)

It’s the closest Mexican market to my Kenwood home. I did not try the ready to eat menu. I needed some mexican ingredients to make posole(pork stew) at home. Everything I needed was on the shelves. It is a cramped little market with 18″ wide aisles. All 4 of them. Some fresh produce. By some I mean not much. Cleanliness score is almost a fail. Kind’a grotty. I love cheap ass good eats. Speak Spanish fluently. I’d have 2nd thoughts about eating the chow made here. I’ve seen way cleaner kitchens in food trucks. So if you’re touristing here, the market is an easy stop to buy a beer /soda. And if you have an iron stomach with an adventurous palate for working class grub, by all means go on in. Me: i’ll shop here when mexican supplies are needed & it’s too much of a hassle to drive into Santa Rosa to one of the«real» latino supermarkets.

This is why I love Unilocal.I never would have stopped here for food if I had not read the reviews first — it definitely doesn’t look like much from the outside. We had a burrito and a taco and both were absolutely delicious. The veggies on my taco were fresh and cooked crisp tender, the shrimp was marinated perfectly and the sauce was fantastic. Just the right amount of heat. The burrito had a perfect blend of ingredients and was large. All this for a low price. This is my kind of place.

They are back up and running! I ordered the 3 steak tacos, rice and beans plate for $ 4.99. It was delicious. These husband and wife owners are legit. I am so glad they are operating again after the remodel and will continue to support them. Today, husband was cooking, wife and one of his daughters were working together on the register. That is good stuff in my book. Check it out, you will be satisfied and full at a reasonable price.

Happened to be in the area over the weekend and stumbled upon this little market along the main road. The store mainly sells many standard Mexican food commodities and groceries including a variety of marinated meats and a wide selection of Mexican breads. Me and some friends bought a few pastries and some of the breads were a bit dry. The cakes were good though! Aside from the typical groceries and snack foods, this place makes some fantastic burritos! I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and the savoriness of the carnitas in my burrito! The meat is marinated in a slightly spicy yet sweet sauce that adds a nice kick to the your standard burrito fixes — sour cream, rice, beans, cheese, and guacamole. Both my friends and I agreed that the burritos we had were some of the best we’ve had in a while! Despite how many places you find burritos in Berkeley where I’ve been for the last few years, I think the burrito I had here tastes a lot better than some of the places in Berkeley. The portions here are huge too! Definitely worth the $ 7 or so. Check this place out for one heck of a burrito in the middle of Sonoma County!

Rancho Market & Deli is what it is, a simple oasis off Arnold Drive. No frills, just fabulous tacos. We had 3 tacos al pastor, rice, beans, a beer and a water for under nine bucks — and it was all delicious! The tortillas were soft and fresh, the meat perfect and the seasoning just right. Ahhhh…

I’m sure many people drive past this market and stick their noses up assuming the superior food is elsewhere. Boy are they mistaking. The food is fresh, delicious and best of all its cheap! This might not be as good as a few other the other places in town but its pretty darn close and when you factor in that its half the price you know you are getting a great deal for great eats. The meat is always juicy and flavorful, and they’ll make it however you order it. The burritos are generously sized and 5.99, the tacos are $ 1.25 and delicious. Another reviewer called them just okay and that actually surprised me because I love them! They just added some new sandwiches to their menu also which are really good. The market is small with a wide variety of drinks, snack, and a small selection of produce and meats. They also have a great ice cream selection if you are looking to add some dessert as well!

just started work in glen ellen discovered this excellent little corner market, inside is small but well supplied, from beer to groceries but the taco truck/deli is excellent, I live in Berkeley and got to school in Oakland the land of the taco truck and it’s better by far!

Local corner market with a taco truck in the parking lot. It’s a great place to stop before you start drinking… I mean wine tasting. The tacos are OK, I’ve had better. But for $ 1.25 each, it’s a cheap way to fill your stomach. The market inside has what you need for snacks, such as chips, drinks, and stuff. They also have a small deli area where you can get sliced meats, though not a great selection.
