I was passing through town while working and Unilocal pointed me to this place. This is a fairly unassuming little grocery store but man they know how to make a great sandwich. I had peppered turkey on Dutch crunch with Swiss, bacon and avocado. Everything was super fresh including the roll, which if you love Dutch crunch rolls like I do, you know how big a difference that makes. I expected it to be good based on the rating but it was quite better than I expected. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had a sandwich as good. Can’t wait to go back.

Not going to lie when I first walked in a have very low expectations. Its a typical little grocery store with the deli in the back ei — nothing great. I got the Tri-tip sandwich on dutch crunch and it was just amazing!!! I was there with 5 other people and they all got different sandwiches and loved it BUT one of them got chicken and said it was dry. Anytime I am around the area I will be dropping by!

How I miss it!!! Broadway Market has everything and the deli is second to none! Always fresh, terrific variety of meats and cheeses and breads. The island market where I am now has deli sandwiches too but Broadway Market’s are the BEST. Definitely a destination for my visit in the spring!

This place might not look like much from the outside, but the inside boasts a lovely market and deli. They also make some delicious sandwiches! This little gem is a great place to stop for lunch on a trip to wine country, and you can also stock up on any groceries that you may need.

Crunchy sour roll, turkey, hot pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, jalapeños, salt/pepper, oil vinegar and mustard. I almost crashed my car eating this sandwich I thought I died and went to heaven. I haven’t had anything this good in so long.

I was raised in NOMA — now I live Santa Cruz — They don’t know how to make sandwiches here. Every once in a while my friend OLDCROW buys me some Broadway Market sandwiches and puts them in FEDEX — he’s a good buddy like that. My wife and kids think I’m crazy to eat a sandwich that has been sent through the mail. I tell them to shut their commie mouths. One time in high school, GODRAGONS! — a dude was mad at me and smashed a turkey and pepper on a soft roll in my face, what a waste, clearly he had issues. I prefer to eat them. If for some reason the world ran out of tacos, we would be OK, there would still be Broadway Market Sandwiches, unless they closed, or there was a giant flood, or fire or something… then that would suck.

If I were unfortunate enough to be slated for execution, this would be the request for my last meal. But when the prison sent whoever to fetch it, they would say to themselves«Hey, I wonder what’s so delicious about these sandwiches that a prisoner would request it for his last meal?» So they would order one, eat it, and write the Governor, and say, «Governor, you’ve got to pardon this prisoner.» And the Governor would say«I’m the Governor of Louisiana/Texas/Mississippi and I don’t pardon no one.» And the guy would be all like«dude, just taste this fucking sandwich.» And the Governor would be all like«nom, nom, nom.» And then I would be pardoned for introducing him to the most amazing goddamn sandwich ever made.

Heard this was a good place for deli sandwiches so decided to give it a try. I walk in and was never greeted once by anyone. I walked to the back where the deli is and stood around for awhile. Thinking there was a line, I waited patiently. After asking the guy if he was in line and he answered no, I moved towards the counter. After standing in front of the counter for about 10 min, still no one acknowledging me, I then asked another customer how to order. He then explained to me that I fill out the paper of what I want and they take it from me. I filled out my order and handed it over. Got my sandwich, still no word said to me and I paid and left. The sandwich was decent, but I also paid for the added condiments which did not get put on my sandwich. Nothing makes me want to come back anytime soon. Horrible service.

Not sure what all the fuss is. Basing this review off of the pastrami sandwich, I can’t rave about this place. I thought the fly paper laden with dead flies hanging over the deli area was a nice touch. The only thing missing was the dead mouse in the mouse trap… but I’m sure it was there somewhere.

Honestly my favorite place to get a regular deli sandwich from. I get a turkey sandwich with mayo and pepper on a soft sweet roll. They have an incredibly huge selection of basically anything you could want as well. Chips, drinks, protein shakes, candy, beef jerky, and much more. The people have always been friendly when I’ve been in. Definitely a solid place to stop on a lunch break, or before you go to the beach!

This is what convenience stores should strive to be. A good selection of chips, wine, beer soda, etc. But they have more! A great meat counter, deli counter, and hot food counter! I walk straight into the back and grabbed a slip of paper and marked what I wanted on my sandwich. Handed it to the guy who makes it. While I waited, I went to the prepared food section and grabbed some extra food for lunch the next day. They had a great selection, and my roast with veggies and mashed potatoes heated up very well, and tasted great! The roast beef sandwich was meh, but for its price, it was a great deal. I did like the many fresh vegetables on the sandwich.

Sonoma’s version of the ABC Stores in Hawaii where the condo and hotel visitors can buy food to eat back at their rooms. Loved our whole cooked chicken.

Had a great sandwich. Love the fact you can build a sandwich exactly how you want it. And much fresher than Subway. Wish they would adopt this idea in leicestershire.

How have I not been here sooner and more often? What a great stop to pick up sandwiches! For anyone looking to grab a picnic lunch while wine tasting, this is the place to grab your grub! They have everything from movie-style popped popcorn to a butcher-staffed meat department. I never realized how big it was inside. Totally worth checking out.

Love love LOVE this place! Great sandwiches and broccoli salad. My favorite place to shop for grocery necessities in Sonoma, definitely blows whole foods and Safeway out of the water. Friendliest employees here, and they’re open super early mornings so I can grab a cup of coffee and breakfast burrito before work. Highly recommended.

Listen to 70s classics while waiting for your custom sandwich. Grab a classic soda and eat out on the patio. Great deli and service. Longtime Sonoma sandwich place best in town.

You can’t go wrong with one of their pre made, but extremely fresh, deli sandwiches when you are on the go! My favorite is the turkey sandwich. It is very basic with only mayo and black pepper on it but the turkey meat is of wonderful quality and it’s on a delicious hard roll(like a French baguette). I normally make sandwiches with loads of veggies but for ONLY $ 3.75 this is a delish basic best buy deal!

Broadway Market has, at a glance, everything i like: deli sammies, gourmet foods, wines, microbrews, coffee. etc. didn’t peruse since i wanted to get out of sonoma county without being stuck in traffic. brew: french roast(1.40) –smooth, easy sipping –decent price drips: –very friendly service by associates here –store kind of cramped. –later took me 2 hrs to get onto bay bridge in s.f. missed all the traffic still i got in s.f. in the afternoon.
