Ordered a small toffee latte and peppermint mocha. It didn’t seem like either had any coffee or espresso. The toffee latte was like drinking steamed milk. The peppermint mocha had chocolate powder on top. The lady at the register was nice though. Cute hole in the wall but the coffee was not very good.

I was pretty charmed by the little shops on Copenhagen Drive in Solvang. Cassidy’s caught my eye because it’s an extremely small place with musical instruments lining the walls. The prices are a bit steep, but to be expected. I ordered a soy latte which wasn’t particularly strong(seems to be a theme of the coffee here). There is one woman who works at Cassidy’s and her speed is pretty slow(took about 5 minutes to get one latte and one cappuccino). The service is not unfriendly but is overall pretty apathetic.

Rude – my wife and I came to Solvang to get away for a few days and celebrate our anniversary. Got up the next morning to walk and to find some coffee. I stumbled upon this little coffee shop and was intrigued. Even though small, it’s a cute place. The coffee is served in large self serve containers which is fine. Overall, the coffee wasn’t that bad and had decency flavor. They only offer creamer that comes in those little mini plastic cups… the ones you need to pull the top plastic off. Now, if you want a pleasurable customer service experience, this isn’t the place for you. The young girl behind the counter was extremely rude. There were three examples I could use to explain how she was rude but I’ll save it and cut this review down a bit. I overheard her say something about going to UCSB eventually so maybe she isn’t focused on the business she is representing. I think any business should be given a second chance so I’ll try again and update if the next experience is the same or different.

Quaint with eager, friendly service, but the iced mocha or of what looked like a big Keurig was sub-par, esp for $ 5.50. :/

Cute little place! I came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend as we were rambling around Solvang. They have a nice array of hot and cold beverages, including teas, coffees, and smoothies. I was in the mood for some chai so I got the iced vanilla chai with soy milk(the menu does not advertise that they have soy but they do-just ask). It was a very refreshing treat on a warm afternoon. The chai taste was very mild – barely detectable, in fact. The drink tasted more like a sugary vanilla beverage than chai, but nevertheless I really liked it. Next time I’ll try the chai spice blended which I suspect will taste like the chai I am used to. It’s pretty small in there and there is no where to sit inside. It’s not a problem though, because you can sip on your beverage as you stroll around the cute little Solvang streets or you can easily find a nice bench outside to sit on and enjoy it.

Didn’t come here for coffee, but instead a quick refreshment. Got a passionfruit smoothie… while it was refreshing, it was a tad too sweet for my personal taste. Cute little shop in Solvang. Like I always say, YOUWON’T KNOWUNLESSYOUTRYITFORYOURSELF!

YAYYYYY ~ real coffee in Solvang!(Because, as anyone who’s been to this little town knows, that’s near impossible to come by. Note: If you like good coffee, steer clear of the bakeries ~ best to stick with their baked goods and get your coffee here!) This is a really tiny place, nowhere to sit(unfortunately), that serves only coffee, hot and cold coffee-based drinks, and smoothies. The server who was there when I went in was super-nice and knew a LOT about the area. In fact, he turned us on to a restaurant in Los Olivos that was really great.

My friends and I stopped by Cassidy’s Coffees to caffeinate during a recent road trip to Solvang. Wedged between two larger stores, this place is easy to miss, but we managed to track it down. I ordered a basic cup of coffee, which was a pretty good serving size for about $ 2. The lady at the counter was extremely friendly and even told me which batch of coffee was the freshest, and which type was most popular. The coffee itself was a bit watered down, so I can only give this place three stars, but it was a nice option to have while walking around Solvang.

Love the passionfruit smoothie… no sugar added options are great… and grateful for the healthful greens and protein addition options, especially as a slurpable break in the middle of a meat & potatoes with a side of all pastries town! LOL

Ordered the vanilla blended coffee. It tasted delicious! Quality was great. Definitely would come back if I’m back in town. My only complaint was there was only 1 person working– taking orders, charging customers, and making the drinks. It took a bit longer than it should. Otherwise, it was fantastic coffee!

My sister got an Iced Coffee here. This place has good coffee and it was strong but it’s similar to other bakeries near by but I thought it was pretty good. Service also seemed quick.

OK, let’s get something straight here, there’s no Starbucks or CBTL or It’s A Grind or Pete’s in or around Solvang. I have to have my Starbucks Venti caramel macchiato with soy with at least 3 or more shots of espresso every day or I feel like ****. None of the coffee shops or bakeries have soy milk. EXCEPTTHISONE!!! They have soy AND almond milk. I had the Coca Mocha Nut Ice drink with 3 added shots of espresso and almond milk and it was simply DIVINE!!! The coconut flavor was subtle and not artificial tasting, the drink was chocolatey and the coffee was not bitter. I finally had enough caffeine in me to feel normal again and seize the day!!! Don’t bother at the other shops for coffee and/or if you are lactose intolerant, B-line it Cassidy’s when you arrive!!!

Quick place to grab a nice cold drink after touring Solvang. Prices could be cheaper. I paid $ 5 for the 16 oz Coca Mocha Nut Ice drink. It personally didn’t like it because it was too cocount-y for my taste but it wasn’t bad. +1 for great service! :)

This is the BEST coffee SPOT in Solvang. You can quickly get in and out with your drink any time. Sure parking is sucky but thats to say for any business with a store front on Copenhagen Drive. The coffee and espresso here are delicious– their tea selection is okay~ however no coffee shop in the SYV has a GREAT tea selection. I love coming here — the whole staff is great and its Always nice to chat with Amanda and the other guys there. The esspresso and smoothies are also very good. Go here and avoid the Bulldog.

I was in dire need of real coffee as our hotel continental breakfast coffee was horrible. We looked all over for a coffee shop and found bakeries with coffee but no COFFEESHOP. We stumbled on this one and I was in heaven. It is TINY, it is a place to get coffee and be on your way. The service was great, fast, and the coffee is very soft and not burned tasting. Prices on par with big chains. They have cool art on the walls made from coffee filters. I’d go back, no doubt.(Note: They don’t have food, just coffee, smoothies, teas).

Cassidy’s is an itty bitty little coffee shop in lovely Solvang. Too small to be a spot where you stop sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee it’s still great to pick up a cup to drink on the go while strolling the streets of Solvang. Service was prompt and we had a piping hot cup of coffee in hand and were on our way to explore within just a few short minutes. Next time I want to try one of their smoothies, someone else had ordered one as we were leaving and it looked absolutely delicious.
