Know this: seating is first-come, so a view of the falls is not guaranteed; but they don’t mind if you move when a window seat opens. Even if you don’t get one of the four window seats, the atmosphere is classy and refined, but casual and very comfortable. There is a small bar area that seats about 12 — no minors, of course — and a mix of dining tables, with sofas, chairs, and smaller tables giving it a lounge feel that is inviting. Prices I would rate on the moderate to high side, depending on if you want to indulge in some libations. Speaking of libations, I want to have a personal supply of the Harvest Moon cocktail. In fact every item my husband and I have sampled has been pretty darn good, with exception of the PNW Cheese Steak, which was chewy; and I am not a fan of the house-made chips, which seemed bland. If you don’t order the cherry pie, you are missing out. Overall the service was fantastic, rounding out The Attic as a top choice in Washington for me.

Not pleased, not pleased at all. My coworker recommended me to eat here when I visited the falls. Me and my love stopped in but definitely weren’t impressed with this place. We waited to be seated, literally stood at the podium, & the manager looked OVER us to seat the people behind us. We looked past that & the waitress took our order(a Margherita pizza) yet WEDIDNTRECEIVEOUTFOODTIL40MINUTESLATER! We even watched the chef make a pie for a couple that arrived 10 minutes after us! & customer service/hospitality still means a lot & the waitress never once checked on us during our entire time of sitting there. The pizza was mediocre & I’m not excusing this. & the manager responded to my review yet wasn’t so apologetic. Yeah, I’m never giving this place my business again & I always steer anybody, going here, away from it.

We came up here on a whim, not being sure if we would even be able to get a table after enjoying a walk of the trail over looking the falls. We were seatted right away unfortunately not by the window seats that overlook the falls but thats okay. Our server was promt getting us drinks and our wedge ceaser salad which my boo and i shared, the server went out of her way to split our wedge into to plates for us. Thank You. We ordered a pizza which was pretty good.

We stopped here to grab brunch and check out the views. The food is simply unreal. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the pancakes were fluffy, cream was authentic, and the pancakes were just incredible. I could go on and on about the quality, but I was also impressed by the portions. I love big plates and this was worth every penny to me. The service was also solid. A pretty snowfall could have only made this experience better!

After our spa, we decided to check out the eats at Salish Lodge and came up to The Attic! There’s limited tables by the window so if you want a view of the falls, it’s a little hard to come by. The restaurant is an upscale casual vibe with fairly limited menu options(sandwiches and pizzas). We got the cheesesteak and the jalapeño bagel sandwich with a side of house made chips. The chips were very good and the food was tasty as well. Good portion size and pricey at ~$ 18 each. Overall everything was A-OK!

I was really quite pleased with this experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, but good bite to eat with an incredible view. SETTING: The attic is set a top a flight of stairs in the space above the main dining room, for which Salish is known for. The main draw is clearly the view, which allows you a fantastic perspective of the 268 ft Snoqualmie falls below as you dine. The room itself is nice, and leverages the rustic surrounds with a nice stone bar and a wood-fired oven for pizzas that is off to the side in the dining room. We came just minutes after it opened for the day(we were probably the first patrons of the day), and got to select our seat next to the window… obviously the prime real estate SERVICE: Since we came just after 11 am when the place was opening up, we seated ourselves. A courteous waitress came out quickly to greet us and take our order. Our salad was out practically instantly, and the rest of the food took not much longer. FOOD: Their menu features casual dishes: sandwiches, pizzas, salads and soups. We ordered the seafood chowder, kale and apple salad, and vegetable pizza. The seafood chowder is cream based, served without bacon(yipee!) and with of course, a variety of seafood. The salad was simple, consisting of shredded kale, Washington apple slices, goat cheese, and candied pecans – the latter of which was a nice touch :) The wood-fired pizza was about 10 inches in diameter(perfect for two to split), no marina base, but with truffle crème fraîche, in addition to vegetables like asparagus and artichokes. The crust was awesome too – basically we polished off all the food. Final verdict: Definitely something to check out if you find yourself in the area. Not as formal as the main dining room below, but one of the lodge staff told us that the view is actually better(makes sense, because The Attic is higher). Definitely something I’ll have to return to next time I’m in town!

I wanted to do something special to celebrate a friend’s birthday. A mutual friend of ours suggested that we go to The Attic and since we all were Twin Peaks geeks, we figured why not hit up the Great Northern er… the Salish Lodge for some gorgeous views and tasty treats. The drive from Seattle was an easy one, straight down I-90 with a sign indicating your exit. Despite being in between the traditional service times, the place was packed. Thankfully we didn’t wait long for a seat, maybe 15 – 20 minutes. We snagged a comfy spot in the bar where we ordered drinks that followed us to our table with a view. My first drink was The Halo made with Salish Lodge honey-flavoured vodka, Brut, and Chambord. I could have easily polished off several of those but I opted to try something else for my second drink. I was glad that I did, settling on the Cranberry Cobbler made with Stoli Cranberi, cranberry sweet and sour, and Triple Sec. Both drinks were made with high quality components and were lovely overall. Among the three of us, we ordered a couple of items to share. A warm baguette with Salish Lodge honey butter and olive oil, plus their artisan cheese selection with Salish Lodge honey-poached figs, hazelnuts, and olive oil crostini. For my main, I picked the grilled chicken with arugula and tomato. The sandwich came with house made chips which were crisp without being over-salted. One friend ordered the Beecher’s grilled cheese sandwich with housemade tomato soup and my other friend chose the house-smoked pork ribs in a Salish Lodge honey and fig BBQ sauce. We never felt rushed which was nice. I think we spent a couple hours there, drinking, talking, and enjoying that gorgeous Snoqualmie Falls view. When it was nearing our time to ask for the cheque, our server brought a birthday crème brûlée with Salish honey and vanilla bean. The dessert even had a little candle too. Note about accessibility: there is a short flight of stairs to get to The Attic. If you cannot do stairs, there is an elevator at the other end of the hotel. I didn’t want to traverse the property so I opted to walk upstairs slowly. It’s nice to know there was another option however. You can also walk around the property to get an AMAZING view of the Falls. I highly recommend saving some time to do that. All in all, I would definitely return here. Although they were down one server, we didn’t feel neglected and in fact, the servers who did check in one us were very nice and patient. Valet parking was complimentary with our meal at the hotel so remember to tip those guys who work hard.
