I love their meat lovers pizza. It’s a pie with flakey crust and it’s very good. Also their ice cream over a warm cookie is a must. Some of their other food is not to die for but this is my favorite. So every time I go here this is usually what I get.

Uno’s doesn’t seem to have a presence back west where I’m from, and I’ve heard and seen a lot about the Chicago style pizza that I was wanting to try it for myself. We’d just been shopping at Kohl’s and neither of us wanted to go home and cook. Getting a pizza delivered was mentioned but seeing the place I wanted to try had me swinging into the parking lot of Uno’s. We were warmly greeted and seated very quickly. Our server, Cristina made us feel welcome and was soon back with our drinks and ready to take our orders. We kept it pretty simple with mozzerella sticks and onion rings for appetizers and a Numero Uno pizza to follow. The rings were pretty good compared to other chain restaurants I’ve been in and the fireball dipping sauce was real good! Cristina refreshed our drinks and cleared away our appetizer plates and was there with our pizza. My first taste of Uno’s invention did not disappoint. I said to my girlfriend that I have been eating the wrong sort of pizza my whole life! Having to eat pizza with a knife and fork may seem wrong, but this is the only way to deal with the Chicago style. The topping is real thick and plentiful and the crust is golden and buttery. Pretty filling too. Just a quarter of the pizza was more than enough for me. Cristina checked in on us again to make sure all was well and tried to tempt us into a dessert, which I reluctantly turned down. With the check paid and our leftovers boxed we left very full and satisfied. Great place for a chain where I didn’t feel rushed into getting out and with a good atmosphere and great service. I will certainly be back there soon.

I am a UNOS addict. I have been to so many locations and I’m addicted, and never have a bad experience which is why I always come back. Usually it’s just my fiancé and I, but this time there was 5 of us and we went during dinner time so we were prepared to wait. We were nicely greeted and told the wait would be about 20 – 25 minutes, so we waited. The time went by way faster and we didn’t have to wait that long. The manager was even coming around with pizza slices to give to everyone who was waiting it was so nice of him. Once seated our server was prompt and a sweetie, excuse me for forgetting her name. She was on top of her game she wrote NOTHING down when taking our orders I mean NOTHING, and she got everything perfect, so IMPRESSIVE. The manager even came by to say hello to us even with as busy as this place was. The food was amazing and the drinks even better, I don’t even need to go into details when it comes to UNOs I have wrote way to many reviews on their locations for you not to believe me haha :)

What was once a staple restaurant of mine when I was growing up, I have lived away from an UNO’s for many years. I was in the area and decided to grab lunch by myself while doing a little shopping. This particular one is tucked away in a shopping complex just outside of Providence. The bar was half full with customers watching a sporting event. I was immediately acknowledged and offered a drink to start. The friendly bartender offered descriptions of the draft beers that aren’t domestic light schwill and I had a Waschusett Ale in front of me in seconds. I wanted to see if the Chicago Classic(sausage, pepperoni, chunky tomato) Deep Dish Pizza was everything I remembered it to be. I looked over the entire menu and noticed they had a «pick two» for $ 12 option. The Classic was on there and they also offered the Pepperoni and a third pizza option. I figured why not get two and have leftovers for the work the next day. First pizza came out and it looked delicious. I noticed it had peppers and onions on it and thought maybe they had changed it up since I last had it 20 years ago. I honestly didn’t even read the description and just assumed it was still the same. A couple minutes in, the bartender comes over and admits she made an error and I was in fact eating the wrong pizza. Honestly, it was good and I praise her for owning up to the error and not blaming the kitchen or someone else. She offered to correct it to the right pizza and I was happy regardless, I told her not to bother. My second pizza came out minutes later and was equally as good. While I didn’t get what I originally came in for, the pizzas were good nonetheless. Honestly, 2 personal Uno’s pizzas for $ 6 each… what a deal. I’ll have to come back for my first choice sometime in the future.

A group of us were staying at a nearby hotel, and we decided to place a large order to go from this Uno. We are all from the Northeast and admittedly favor local independent pizzerias over chains, but one in our group, whose birthday we were celebrating, grew up elsewhere and wanted Chicago style pizza, and this was really our only option. It wound up being a very satisfying option. Even though the Uno website showed some specials, and I could order over my phone, I decided to phone in our large order just in case there were questions or on the chance they might inform us of additional offers. They did indeed; the offers were better than we originally anticipated. As I read off each item, they informed me when I could take advantage of the promotion(s). In the end, we would up getting about 25% more pizza for $ 25 less. There were no issues at all with the take-out process. Our order was primarily deep dish pizzas, with 1 cobb salad and 1 flatbread pizza. Everyone was satisfied, with 1 exception. In the past, I’d felt Uno deep dish crusts were too doughy and greasy. This was not a problem at all here. The vegetable toppings were also fresh and plentiful. The one disappointment was the chicken flatbread pizza which had a less appealing taste. I suspect part of the problem could have been that it had cooled down too much, and I’d be willing to bet if it had been reheated it might have fared better. So in general, I would recommend take-out from here for deep-dish and many non-pizza items, and I bet freshly made and delivered to your table if eating in is equally enjoyable.

It’s a good thing the food is good her for a chain restaurant. They never have the order ready on time or even close. I’ve arrived ten minutes after expected order time and still take a while. Horrible delivery.

Awful. Giving it one star just for the sake of booze… Other than that the service was awful, and I wouldn’t feed their food to my dog

I don’t normally frequent chains, but on this trip, I had a free entrée coupon in my email as a birthday gift. So, I figured, why the heck not? Upon arrival, the hosts were nice and got me a place at the bar, since I was eating alone. To my excitement, the free entrée coupon had no restrictions, so I opted for their new fisherman’s platter. It has a lobster slider, fried fish, their signature slaw, fried shrimp, and french fries. Everything was quite tasty. The shrimp were actually super yummy and some of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. Weird, I know. I got a deep dish pizza to go and that was yummy later on. I like the fact that they have small deserts that are inexpensive and fit the spot. The waitress was just lovely, so friendly and attentive. I must say, the experience turned me on this place, as I normally would never consider it.

The food here is great, reminds me of my days in Chicago. However, last night was a bit of a drag due to our service, or lack there of. We give an appetizer order and she walks away, did not come back for 20 minutes. When she did come back 20 minutes later, the woman that was carrying our app spilled an entire glass of water on one of my dates. Our waitress, we will call her«A», said I will get you some napkins and then continued taking our meal order. She came back roughly 10 minutes later with a couple of napkins to assist my by now soaking wet friend. Needless to say, they should call it dos or tres because it definitely was not number 1 last night.

This is my local Uno’s and I’ve been here many times over the years. Went a few months back with a friend and had some of our faves. The shrimp and crab dip app is really good. We had some pizzas, I got a bbq chicken flatbread and it was good, would’ve liked a little more bbq sauce but I could’ve asked for it on the side I’m sure. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. Typical Uno’s experience and they never let me down with that shrimp and crab dip!

Being so close to Home this is a great place to grab a beer. I generally sit at the bar and the bartenders are always great. Quick to greet you and quick to take your order. Very friendly too. It’s a nice warm atmosphere and the bar area is cozy. They have all the usual beers with a few locals on tap such as BBC steel rail. Wachusett blueberry and double bag. They have some great lunch specials too. They are between seven and ten dollars and would be enough food for a light lunch. I had a buffalo chicken quesidilla which is just enough spice and flavor to make my taste buds happy. The only reason for no five stars is that it seems sometimes to take a long time for the food to come out. I am pretty certain that’s because they make their pizzas fresh and they are not frozen. If your looking for a place to have a beer and snack in a cozy place and your not in a hurry this is the place.

I have eaten at this UNO a few times and I’ve never had any problems. The food is great and the prices aren’t too bad. I did the curbside pick up today and the girl that brought my order was really nice and I didn’t have to wait long. The fish n chips are good. portions could be a little bigger but not a big deal. The menu is great with alot of options and I think they deliver too. Overall one of the better chain restaurants in the area.

Highlights were the service: from the host & hostess, to the waitress… everyone was incredibly kind and fast! Definitely pleased. Be aware: weekdays at 6pm, it gets busy. If you’re coming with a large group, you should probably call ahead or show up and be prepared to wait. Should be a relatively quick wait, but be prepared. + «Thirsty Thursdays» means $ 5 margaritas! These come in nice, big glasses and in a variety of fruity flavors. YES, THANKYOU, ANDMOREPLEASE. + Broccoli cheddar soup + grilled cheese combo was decent price. The soup was a good portion size for the price. Thick, creamy, and cheesy with chunks of broccoli — Grilled cheese on sourdough is ok. Too greasy for me — the sourdough was nice and crispy around the outer edges, but the center was drenched in butter(probably from the melted cheese, too)

My late grandfather had the annoying habit of visiting Chinese restaurants and ordering spaghetti and meatballs. Then, he would complain to the waitress that his meal was lousy. So with my grandfather in mind, the family dropped in on the newly remodeled Uno’s Pizzeria in Smithfield knowing full well that we wanted anything but pizza for dinner. Yet unlike my grandfather, we found very little to complain about. Our appetizers — the Shrimp and Crab Dip and Muchos Nachos — were served hot, fast and quite tasty, exceeding all our expectations. Then for dinner, I enjoyed the Sirloin Tips while my wife and daughter ordered the Fish and Chips and Bacon Burger respectively. The sirloin tips were grilled perfectly, though might have benefited from a bit of steak sauce. The fish, unfortunately, though not true New England cod, was still fresh and full of flavor. And the bacon burger appeared large, thick and juicy. So as to not insult my grandfather’s memory, I should probably complain about something. The new menu, while full of interesting choices, is long and confusing with several half-price appetizer options and deals that was in desperate need of an editor. And the dining room(and bar area) was somewhat loud on the night we visited, full of noisy, argumentative townies. But overall, we weren’t looking for fine dining, just solid comfort food, and the new menu and remodel was a win in our book. We look forward to our next visit.

Even though I wasn’t amazed by the original Uno in Chicago, I decided to try the one out in RI because it has a great gluten free menu. There is plenty to eat, regardless if you want an entrée, pizza or salad. I ordered online, which was quick and easy, and they even had a section for the takeout specials on the website. I got their 2 gluten free pizza deal for $ 13.99. What a steal considering most GF pizzas are that amount for just one! The topping choices are just cheese, pepperoni or veggie which had green peppers, mushrooms and onions. I also ordered an entrée so I wouldn’t have to go out for dinner for a few nights. I got their herb grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli with a side Caesar salad(no breadstick, no croutons). When I got to the restaurant, the manager was great. She was very friendly, immediately got my order and she double checked it twice — once in the kitchen and once in front of me. They had the GF entrée in a special container, and everything was clearly labeled GF. She told me what was modified and showed me everything so I knew the difference. I loved this — they are obviously trained to be very careful with GF food. I loved the GF herb grilled chicken. Lots of flavor and it was perfectly grilled yet tender. The mashed potatoes were well seasoned, not drowning in cheese or sour cream and had real chunks of potatoes in them instead of some restaurants and their instant potatoes. The pizza was good, but I will ask for them to cook it well done next time. This is person preference: I like my crust to have a crunch and just a little bit of browning to the cheese on top. The veggie pizza was very good, but I did not try the pepperoni. The crust is a little one note, which is normal for GF crust made from tapioca starch and rice flour. I would suggest they add some basil and/or garlic to add some excitement into the pizza. I love that it is a very thin crust, so I don’t feel like I’m eating a loaf of bread with my pizza. I will definitely eat and order from here again, but I wouldn’t run back, drooling at the table until the food came out from the kitchen. It is a great family restaurant with a solid gluten free menu and very good prices — there are just other places in the area that have more GF options and really packmore flavor in their food. — Update: I went here with co-workers last night and got the Herb grilled salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the roasted vegetables were perfect — I could’ve eaten a pound of those veggies! The skinless bake(aka loaded mashed potatoes) were fine, but next time I will just get the regular mashed potatoes because I don’t need the bacon, cheese and sour cream. My co-workers loved their deep dish personal pizzas, and my other co-worker ate every last shred of his steak(that was cooked perfectly). I like that they have ways to order and pay at the table via a touch screen system, but we had no use for it. It’s a solid restaurant that I would suggest before Chili’s and Applebee’s any time. PLUS, they had no issue with giving us separate checks!

This Uno’s is great. Good value with snack hours in the lounge(half off apps) with a special discounted beer on tap and«shakers choice» which is a discounted cocktail. You can’t go wrong with the pizza and I have never had a bad meal here. Granted, this is a chain and not exactly fine dining, but at the price point it is good. What makes me return to this location is the service. All of the servers, greeters and bartenders are extremely friendly and their customer service is through the roof. Many of the employees have been here a long time which speaks volumes to the atmosphere their management creates. Try them if you are in the area or looking for a bite after shopping at the Smithfield Crossing Mall.

I really like this Uno’s. It’s hard to find a place that you can get food until 12:30 at night and since one of my friends works late on Friday nights, this is a great spot. The staff is always really friendly and for a chain restaurant, the food is pretty tasty! We always sit in the bar and it’s always pretty low key and laid back. You really can’t go wrong with the snack hours, the food is practically free and this location has some pretty fun beers on tap. Check it out if you are looking for a low key place for some good affordable late night food!

This was my first time visiting this location(I have been to the location in Warwick and Providence multiple times). The food and décor are pretty much the same(as it should be with a chain restaurant. Consistency is important), though I do like the lay out much more then Providence’s. What impressed me the most however, was the service. Apparently on this night one of their ovens went down while our pizza was on it’s way through(I guess they have a conveyor belt type oven). We didn’t even think it had been a long time since we had ordered but the manager came over and explained what had happened and apologized for the wait. We told her not to worry about it, stuff happens. She told us it shouldn’t be much longer and offered us either drinks or a dessert on the house for the inconvenience! More restaurants should be this proactive with keeping their customers happy. Like I said, we weren’t even remotely upset that the pizza was taking longer then usual but if we had been the apology, explanation and offer of a small freebee defiantly would have put out any fire they may have been starting. Even without the offer of a free desert just taking the time to stop by the table and telling us what happened was enough to make me happy. Great job Smithfield Uno’s!
