No stars for this restaurant. I recently went there with my business colleagues for lunch and the service and food was poor. One, perhaps two people were waiting on the whole restaurant. And my food had scrap metal in it. That could of been serious. The manager did not even come over to check on me after scrap metal was found in the food. I would not suggest eating there! Overprice poor food.

Breaks my heart that the service has seriously gone down the tubes! I loved this place for years but now… Its not worth the agony. Service is horrible and at times, rude. Last night we sat at the bar, giving it yet another last chance. The manager took our order, he was rushed and distracted. 20 min later I asked about our food. He went back and returned empty handed. After 30 min we received our food that looked like they literally through it on the plate. Sigh… Won’t go back.

My hubs and I came to MG to celebrate our two year anny and was happy with our experience. This restaurant is located near cold stones and world market, across the police station /library. When we walked in, there wasn’t any host or waiters but after waiting a few minutes, we were seated quickly. We decided to do a mini three meal course and ordered the fries topped with cheese and prosciutto(I think), butternut ravioli, and finished with the delicious chocolate cake with homemade whipped cream. The fries were okay. The toppings were a bit salty for me so I probably won’t order it again. The ravioli was also a tad salty but okay overall. And the chocolate cake was delicious. Just wished they gave us more whipped cream. Overall, a good experience. The waitress was nice and attentive. The food was okay. The one thing that will make me go back there is the chocolate cake with ganach.

I went Friday night and this was my first time there ever. The food was delicious and the customer service was great. Every Time a waiter walked by they asked if we needed anything, if we were ok, etc. I liked that it was nice and large and spacious from the next tables. I will return

Good meal with nice ambiance. We had chicken caciatore. Very tasty. Maybe a little too much butter though. Fair price. Good service. The place was crowded on Saturday night.

My family and I went on Christmas Eve for an early(4:30) dinner. Despite there only being a handful of people in the restaurant, our waiter rushed us to order, and after we did, our food took at least a half hour to come. We used to love this place, but unfortunately the service we received, and what I’ve heard others receiving, has gone way down hill.

I hate to rag on food places but this place has really gone downhill in the last year. Me and my wife went to lunch today and ordered the pollo caprese and I had a bibb + blue salad. well it took A long time to get are food and when it came everything was cold, my arugula was so sup par I almost vommited, yellow and rotten, trash material, my wife’s chicken breast was RAW, I mean what kind of cooks are employed here? Are they qualified food handlers? I mean I still can’t believed somebody served me that nonsense, I mean the salad was really good, but that took a Long time too, unbelievable the service is a joke and they don’t bring fresh grated parmesan any more, we just got up and walked out, if I get sick watch out… you’ll hear from me again, I do feel bad for the owner I hope they can correct there nonsense, I will never eat there again

My ratings of this restaurant I think are son low partially because I was trying to eat helthy and so in ordered the warm spinach and shrimp salad. I guess when you are in a restaurant smelling pasta and others arundel you are ordering pasta, salad is almost always going to not be as appealing. So my review was doomed from the start. That being said, my biggest issue with the salad was that it very much lacked in flavor. I asked for some blue cheese crumbles on the side to try to spice it up a bit and that helped some but still I kept searching for some flavor that seemed to be nowhere to be found. The service was not bad. Our server was attentive until we got our food and then it took a bit of waving him down to get anything else we needed and the check. That’s fine, not really complaining. We were busy talking and laughing anyway. I had a taste of the gorgonzola pasta and that was pretty good!

5050 chance the service is slow. When I walk in I don’t seem to get noticed a lot. I order mamma’s trio. A great two person meal. I think the food is ok. I wish the staff would pick up the speed. Half the time I have been there I haven’t received bread before my meal? Weird! Food is ok but not consistent good help.

This place has gone way down. The food is terrible. The servers really try to make it an enjoyable experience but the food is very bad…

This place is just average, nothing special but may be worthy of 3 stars had the service been better. I came in with a small group one Friday evening(about 9:45) and the place was pretty empty. The waitress greeted us after fumbling with a few things and then laughed and said it had been a long day. This may be funny to some but I’m just never that impressed with the«I’ve had a long day so your service will suffer» attitude. I didn’t contribute to your long day, and don’t care what caused it. I just wanted good service and some food. The food was just so so, about as good as you’d expect from a chain restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend the calamari as it was soaked in oil and tasted more like oil that anything else. The icing on the cake for me was when the waitress returned with drinks and asked me if I minded passing them down the line(like an assembly line worker) as opposed to her delivering the drinks herself. What I thought was«do I mind doing your job for you? No, not at all. Do you mind sharing your tip with me?» Maybe thats too harsh of an opinion but when the table is easily accessible(it wasn’t like we were in a booth that was hard to reach, we were at a table that had access on all sides and all around us) I expect the person being paid to deliver drinks to… you know… deliver the drinks. Admittedly I may just be being too picky here so I will say that if your open to chain restaurant quality food(not great but not terrible) and you are ok with average service this place may be worth a shot. If your looking for high quality food with top shelf service you should go somewhere else. At this price point and with limited options in the geography, i’d say you get what you pay for.

Blackened chicken parm was really good. I had a bad experience last time I was here, and it’s been awhile since I have returned. Our waiter Bruce was really friendly, and attentive. He made our night enjoyable.

Best tip I can give you — just don’t sit in the bar. It’s not worth the happy hour savings. They used to have better deals on happy hour than they have now, and the appetizers used to be better, but they’ve tried to do some unique things with them that just aren’t good. They do have a great deal on happy hour appetizer flatbread pizzas, which is literally why we came. I never expect great service in the bar. It’s a place to hang out, and the bartended is serving everyone, so I get that you cannot expect quick service. But it wasn’t really that busy on the weeknight when we went, and it took forever for everything. It was like 40 minutes between when we got our food and when we got the check, and it was really clear that we weren’t ordering anything else. They serve pretty much every appetizer with this tomato sauce for dipping, but it isn’t regular marinara sauce for some reason. It’s greasier, which is really kind of strange.

Disappointment strikes again. This time, the service was great, but the food lacked quality. We started with the calamari but it was not fresh and it was over cooked. Pretty rubbery to chew on. Afterwards, we had the create your own pasta which was quite spectacular, however my wife and I both added roasted garlic to our pastas. I said ROASTED garlic, but what we received was BURNT garlic cloves. I hope they are able to redeem themselves on the next visit otherwise we may stop going there altogether.

I love this place — this location even more! They have the best happy hour in town. Intimate settings and just good food and stiff drinks. They change the menu up here and there so there’s always something new. Here’s what’s up! My friend and I got TWO fatbread(yes, fatbread and they’re huge) pizzas, two glasses of house wine, two Margarita Primas(those two were mine and they were strong!!) and two of their Rosemary bread loafs. ALL that came out to $ 25! 5pm –7pm folks! Now I’ve also been during non-happy hour and also not sat at the bar and been when it’s super busy. Well obviously when it’s busy the service is less attentive but never truly bad. I have had bad experiences here, bad servers, bad undercooked food, but they’ve always fixed any greviance I’ve ever had. Honestly though just sit in the bar and do Happy Hour. I’ve had many Girl’s Nights here where we bitch, get drunk, and draw funny pictures on the table with the crayons they provide. Plus, what other restaurant has servers who can write their name upside-down??? As many times as I’ve seen it done it still amazes me every time!

The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because some food has flavor and most the food doesn’t but what do you expect from a chain restaurant. The last time I ordered something was not that long ago and it was the cappellini with shrimp and I also added scallops to the dish as well for an extra charge. The cappellini had no flavor to it and it was dry and clumped together, the shrimp had no flavor to it and the scallops were nothing close to par.

I thought all Macaroni Grills were closing down… Hmmmm… After a work meeting and not too familiar with this area, my coworkers and I decided on Macaroni Grill as it was the closest thing to our meeting location. It was empty inside(around 3 pm), our waitress was great(she gets the two stars), and who doesn’t love crayons and a paper tablecloth for distraction and entertainment but the the food was just not good… I got the branzino and it tasted like it was soaking in oil before it was cooked. it left that oily film on my mouth that meant leaving half of the fish uneaten. Two co-workers ordered lasagna and it was ice cold in the middle. The food quality was just poor.

I can’t understand why this place has so many poor reviews. I travel a lot and I cook a lot! This place is pretty damn good for what we have to choose from in this town. Happy hour is before 7 and after 9 Go for the draft beer 3 bucks & the flatbread 5 bucks, you can’t go wrong! Pomodorina Soup is outstanding!

My mother has gotten food poising from here, as well as her friend. I recently fell victim and got food poisoning from their chicken parmesan. I know it was their food because I hadn’t eaten anything else that day. I called corporate and received a $ 25 gift card saying«sorry that your last experience was not what we wanted it to be.» So just to let everyone know, if you’re looking for a night curled up on the bathroom puking up your meal, I would definitely recommend mac grill, because they give you $ 25 as a consolation.
