They’re not exactly bagels per se. More like rolls. But that having been said, pretty tasty.

Who are you morons reviewing this place and raving about the bagels? These are not bagels they are dinner rolls. You may like the sandwiches but don’t mislead people, myself included, by saying how good the bagels are. They are not bagels. Have you never had a bagel? Many have pointed out that bagels have holes. That’s not the half of it. Bagels are made by rising dough, then boiling it. These are not made that way. They’re dinner rolls and expensive ones at that. I bought three plus three Naked juices over the weekend and it was $ 20. Really? Even if they were actual bagels that’d be crazy. I asked the Korean owner about why she called them bagels but that got me no where, she’d obviously doesn’t know what a bagel is. I suspect the Korean food there may be top notch. But to call these bagels is stupid. I guess you can call anything whatever you want?

Bagel was good. Old store front and watched employee touch bagels with bare hands. Unsanitary!

I can’t get enough of this place when I’m in the Simi area, the cheese bagel with cream cheese is amazing. It’s a simple clean place, nothing special but the bagels are what bring you back.

Never thought a bagel with no hole could taste that good. However I do like holes in my bagel, so it pretty much just tasted like super thick bread with cream cheese on it. It was good tasting bread though. Not that many options to choose from in bagels, however they did have a bunch of cream cheese options. I will be back to try some of the other options. They also have bagel sandwiches as well.

these are the bestestestest bagels. i recommend literally anything off the menu. I’ve been coming here for years whenever I get the chance. I usually take some bagels home with me for later too :). I’ve always wanted to try the cream puffs but I’m always there when they run out. Anyways, dont mind the lack of hole, it adds character. I love these bagels and the people that work here are incredibly kind and beautiful!

Been here for the dinner last weekend with my boy friend! He is very sensitive personality and he loves to be well served when been to a restaurant, here we were not served to the top notch level. We came here at 9pm and then we need to wait for more than 30mins and this wait was not the best one!

If you want a bagel breakfast sandwich, you really should give this place a shot. It has a small vibe and hole in the wall atmosphere as the price is right plays on a CRT tv in the corner and you know most other people around are regulars. This place caused an internal crisis inside me tho debating with myself and everyone i know if a bagel is a bagel if there is no hole in the middle. Because these bagels might surprise you when you see them for the first time. I recommend the blueberry one, so tasty and fresh. A big ol lump of carbs like I sometimes crave.

My wife brought home a bagel lox and cream cheese sandwich from this place and it was awesome! We’re new to the area so finding spots like this is crucial! The bagel itself was very good and that’s absolutely key because it’s always more than ½ of the sandwich. But then they didn’t disappoint with the stuff in the middle either. Good smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato and onion and it even had capers for god’s sake! We’ll. be going back to this place for sure!

I stopped in to try a bagel. Was very disappointed. People, these are rolls!!! Bagels have a hole in the middle Bagels are either first cooked in a water bath before baking or put thru steam before baking. The process makes them soft on the inside, and firm on the outside Maybe the owner changed what they are doing?

Small, crowded, and old… BUTWORTHIT! I would definitely recommend getting your order to go because it gets cozy in there real quick but the prices are fantastic, the options are unique, and the food is delicious!

Seriously the best bagels around. My work tends to bring bagels from here into work all the time and I am in LOVE with these. The garlic bagel is my favorite by far but I have tried almost every bagel there and I have enjoyed every single one of them. This time I got the South Of the Board on a Garlic Bagel. Two words: I Died. Too good, so filling, so moist for the fillings, so crunchy and crispy for the bagel, so many flavors that work so well together… My mouth is water just rethinking of how good it was. I may go get another one for lunch… but this time the Wood Ranch on a Cheddar Cheese bagel. Another combo you will want to sink your teeth into!

The bagels and bagel sandwiches are good. My personal favorite is the western sandwich in an everything bagel.(Bacon, egg and cheese). The place itself is really disappointing. They need to put a little bit of money into it and spruce the place up. It is reminiscent of a Soviet Union era café where they serve only sadness and moldy potatoes. The woman who appears to be the owner is super friendly to certain customers, but cold and rushed with those who are not members of the elite squad that she likes.

The breakfast bagel sandwiches are the absolute best. The Bagels alone are wonderful. I would definately recommend this place for these reasons alone. The coffee however is very disappointing. The place has no ambiance. Looks like it hasten’t been painted and updated in years. Could use some brightening up. My main issue with this place is that the lady who works the counter most of the time(I believe she is the owner) is only friendly toward some of her customers. The vibe that several of us have received from her is that her main focus seems to be on ensuring that she charges for everything she possibly can and making sure that money comes in. The guy who works the counter here and there is much more pleasant, but when he runs the till she hovers and watches every thing he does. I would recommend this place as to go only, and skip the coffee.

Back in ’07(wow I’m getting old) I used to frequent this place semi regularly. It was a hop, skip, and jump away from work so it made the short lunches more fulfilling. The first time I had a chocolate bagel was a sheer revelation. Fast forward to now, where I take my 12 year old son to visit my mom at the same work spot and stop here for our lunch — my rave reviews echoing in the car obnoxiously to him– where we got the old favorites and a bagel and lox. It was pretty good, not great. But the service, prices, atmosphere… they all had a «janky» feel to it that made the experience less than savory. I remember employees not being overly friendly, but now I get a distinct detachment from the customers. Don’t get me wrong, there isn’t a place like this nearby and I would definitely recommend someone try them out if they’re ever in Simi Valley, but revisiting faded the magic my memory had stored.

Thanks to all the fellow Unilocalers for bringing this place to my attention! I fell in love with this place and went 2 more times in the same week after I discovered it. First, they have a great variety of bagels they make fresh daily! These aren’t your typical bagels. You also have to make sure to come early because some bagel flavors do run out! They have delicious breakfast sandwiches and have fell in love with the simple western breakfast sandwich. On your choice of bagel(I suggest the everything bagel or onion bagel) you get a thick piece of egg with bacon and jack cheese. I haven’t tried their lunch sandwiches but they come with bagel chips! For those health conscious folks they have vegetarian breakfast and lunch sandwiches! Another thing I noticed is they have a Korean now bulgogi sandwich that I will have to try next time! They also have bags of bagels half off that were made the day before, which is a good deal! #foodgrubblr approved!
