So I was so excited when this CVS location opened up. At first the service was a 5+. Sorry to say, but now it is far below par. I have waited 4 different times for more than 5 minutes today without any response. This is the norm now… I believe the lack of service is due to inadequate staffing. Will be moving my prescriptions:-(

I had almost given up on CVS due to the poor service in Thousand Oaks. Wood Ranch CVS has renewed my faith in their ability to provide excellent customer service and this team should be commended! «Pharmacists Who Don’t care». Came here for a schedule pick up for a pain killer that my wife needed. Though I have received a text confirmation in the morning for the pickup, the pharmacist said its not in their system(with a blank face). She kept on repeating«its not in our system» for everything I asked her after that. When I showed her the text, she said it might be a system error. Again with the absolute blank face. When I said I need to talk to the manager, she said manager is going to say the same thing. I asked for the manager anyways and she asked me to wait another 20 minutes. Here I am waiting staring at the big sign that says«pharmacists Who care»! Irony at its best

The store portion is 4 stars but this review is for the Pharmacy portion of this CVS. I have a painful double ear infection. My doctor called in my prescription on Thursday morning last week. CVS Pharmacy called me and said they were out of my prescription and that they would order it for me and to please come pick it up after 4:00 on Friday. Friday, not ready. Saturday, shipment arrived Friday I was told but wasn’t unpacked yet. Sunday, still not unpacked. My ears hurt so bad I was in bed all weekend and my equilibrium was so off I couldn’t keep food down. Monday morning I call begging for my prescription. I am told they should have the shipment unpacked by 1:30 and to call back then Wow CVS, happy this wasn’t something fatal… Monday at 1:30 I was told my prescription would be ready by 3:30. And here I am at 6:15PM at CVS. No prescription. I’ve been waiting for half an hour now after being told continually that it’ll take 5 more minutes over and over again. This is the WORSTCVS! I hope their management reads this and if nothing else gets them help to unpack their shipments. Wish me luck!!! And yes, I was just told 5 more minutes again! Bad Pharmacy!

I went to pick up meds that were supposed to be ready. They weren’t and the pharmacist said she had to go to lunch! I went home to wait and my husband went to get his meds, got the same pharmacist and the same line about her lunch break. I went back, still not ready and asked for the manager who got her out of the lunchroom. Then I had an automated call from them saying my monthly med was ready, went in and it was not I changed pharmacies.

I’m switching pharmacies. They screw up my order every time. I have to call them several times to make sure they got it and processed it. They caused me to have to drive out to my dr in west hills to fix the problem myself. They had a phone number wrong for a month and I couldn’t get a refill and I had to finally figure it out myself and fill them in on their error.

Horrible Pharmacy. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I actually got into a shouting match with the pharmacist who wouldn’t come to the counter to speak to me. It took 5 tries for them to even locate my name in the computer and then told me that there was no prescription ordered. Within a minute they contradicted themselves and said that my prescription was called in but it was expensive and wanted to know if I could pay cash for it. WTF? Ironically I was trying to get blood pressure medicine. I will never set foot in there again.

The pharmacy is horrible. Need to train their staff, and hire people with customer service skills. I buy insulin for my dog every few weeks. Normally I go to the newbury park or avenida de Los arboles cvs stores but popped into this one as it was along my route today. Won’t make that mistake again. It took 20 minutes for them to even figure out if they had it and would be able to sell it to me. I’ve got a prescription from the vet, and have been told be the other stores I don’t even need the prescription since I’m paying retail and it’s for a pet. You would have thought I was going to make crystal meth with the way the staff at this store treated me. They Insisted on calling the vet(to confirm her phone number). I walked out after 20 minutes, I had two small kids in the car(with grandma) and just couldn’t spend an hour explaining to the staff how the other stores can do something they can’t. I ended up walking out after 20 minutes and went to the avenida de Los arboles location and was in and out in two minutes.

terrible service. can’t get orders right and days after putting in your prescription you have to call only to find out they need something, why do they take a number to call and not use it? very specific info given that they can’t recall or lost so they fill with the wrong meds. have patience or move onto a better service pharmacy

Lowering my review to 1 star because CVS has blocked Apple Pay in favor of their own NFC solution. This is unacceptable to me. This location just lost a loyal customer(the Duke on Unilocal). Get it together, CVS. Going to Walgreens until you do.

This is my FAVORITECVS in Simi Valley. I’ve gone to 2 others since I moved out of Woodranch, and I miss the staff, cleanliness, and organization of the Woodranch CVS. Keep on being amazing guys! You put the others to shame!

I am so glad this CVS opened up after we lost the Ralphs at this location. This is a smallish store but well stocked. It is a great little place to run into when you just need to pick up something quick. They even have milk and a few refrigerated groceries. This store is clean and the employees are helpful. There is plenty of parking in the lot.

I stopped by CVS to pick up some essentials & was trying to balance a basket full of items and 2 gallons of water when all of the sudden — Jonathan came to the rescue! He kindly picked up the items that had fallen out of my basket and grabbed the big gallons if water and took them to the checkout counter for me. He also provided me w a 30% off coupon as he saw I had a lot of items & he saved us $ 20 on our total cost. And, if that wasn’t enough he came running out to the parking lot to give me the bag of ice I’d paid for, but left on the counter! Jonathan was chivalrous, friendly, thoughtful & kind. I’m thankful there are people like Jonathan who believe in going above and beyond the call of duty to elevate a customers typical store visit to a memorable and pleasant experience!

Kimberley just rocked my world! I just called to inquire if this store had some special teething tablets in stock at the store. She checked, and it was in stock. She held the item at the register for me and even picked up infant Tylenol for me upon request. I’ve never received such personalized, proactive customer service! Thank you!!!

Let’s face it you only visit a CVS in emergency situations which is how I stumbled into this place… running out of beer IS an emergency. Anyways, this place is unlike any other CVS, it’s new, well organized, well lit, well kept, very clean and best of all on the day I came in there were tons of sale on many items. I’ll be coming back often you can count on that.
