We found ourselves here after the City Market didn’t have any pollo or carne asada, and nothing else would do for our plan to cook at our home way from home. This is a Mexican market as well as a restaurant. It is nothing fancy, but it has a decent selection of authentic Mexican foods. No one in the meat section spoke English, so that made ordering really interesting. The asada and nopales from the carneceria were good. I would put money on their restaurant food being delicious, and would love to try out a burrito there someday.

We had heard about authentic Mexican food in Silverthorne, CO and Taqueria la Perla is it! A small and friendly family run resturant connected to a a local grocery and butcher that serves a wide variety of entrees. I had a «smothered» steak and bean burrito and while the atmosphere is simple and authentic, my burrito was honestly the best I have had in my entire lifetime!
