Another park in Signal Hill’s arsenal of parks is Sunset View Park.
This is a fairly small space as parks go, just under a half acre and unfortunately, it has a few drawbacks.
There are no grassy areas to lay on, fling a Frisbee or toss a football. There are no trees, no picnic tables or BBQ grills. There are no playgrounds for the kiddies or B-​ball courts for the big kids. From this perspective, this park kinda sucks.
However, it does have a trick up its sleeve, an ace in the hole, one saving grace which trumps all the things it lacks… and that my friends is… THE VIEW!
There are 5 West facing concrete benches so you can sit and relax, enjoy the views and especially the sunsets!
OVERALL: The best thing to do in Sunset View Park is to just sit, relax and enjoy the view!
