Vintage Wine Bar and Spirits

Worst red wine I have had — it seemed like they let it air out too long. There was a lot of smoke so I left smelling like an ashtray. It was also very cramped.

Customers are no longer welcome to smoke cigars at the Vintage. But — get a load of this — you can still smoke cigarettes there! LOL (So, if you’re looking to avoid that disgusting, stale smell in your clothes and your hair at the end of the evening caused by the formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT contained in cigarettes, Vintage Wine Bar & Spirits is STILL not the place for you.)
However, I am sure that they will tell you that you are free to smoke a cigar on their lovely patio. As if…

I have been coming here for years as a Shreveport native and I have always loved the atmosphere and usually the service has been great until recently. On two separate occasions my fiancé and I have been overcharged for our bill. I can understand it happening once as mistakes are bound to happen but not a month later it happened again. On our most recent bill we were charged for 2 more drinks than we had consumed and we were sober enough to know there was no way that was correct. When we brought it up to the waitress, she initially tried to say my fiancé «drank his drinks faster than everyone else» but we knew that was BS becaus he and I were ordering our drinks at the same pace, and I know I had not had that many. When he assured her this was not true, she quickly said she would «take it off» which tells me she knew she had put them on there erroneously. I have always been an advocate for this place and usually tell everyone I know this is «my favorite bar in Shreveport» but now I am very annoyed and angry that this has happened to us twice and will probably not return. That being said, if you feel the need to go there just be sure to check your bill VERY carefully.

This is a bar for the grown and sexy crowd. Relaxing atmosphere. There is plenty of parking in the back of the building with indoor and outdoor seating.
Caution…don’t end up like me and order drinks without knowing the prices and leave with a $ 96 dollar bill for 6 drinks. After returning to Houston, I noticed the waitress tipped herself an additional $ 10 on my card. I never tip on credit card always cash. I had to send the copies of my receipt showing the correct charge amounts to my bank. The fact an employee stole money from me even though it was only $ 10 raises a high level of concern for me. I’m not sure if I am likely to return.

My absolute favorite place to meet up with friends for a low key relaxing atmosphere with awesome drinks! And the food is great too! Love this place!

Enrico has great taste! Perfection in every detail. Upscale wine, drinks, food, atmosphere, music and décor. All top notch. Friendly people, too. You can start at The Vintage for wine and appetizers, then walk next door to the restaurant (Chianti) for dinner. Or you may get so caught up that you have to order off Chianti’s menu and have it brought to the bar. Either way, you’ll have a great time.
