Ruby Tuesday

My family and I love going to this Ruby Tuesday’s! The food is delicious, the prices are great, and the service is good. The double decker chicken entrée that I had was very tender and juicy! The service in general is excellent since the servers here are usually on the ball when it comes to getting our food and drink in a nice, professional manner. My favorite thing at this place is the all you can eat salad bar, which is great to have since many places don’t have a salad bar like this. I definitely recommend this Ruby Tuesday’s!

Me and my family love going to this Ruby Tuesday! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The birthday burger coupon that they have when you sign up for the So Connected program is great, and the special promotions they have around Christmas time are even better. Getting a $ 15 bonus when you buy $ 50 in gift cards is a great deal! We have bought this offer for the last few years. Our waiter named Jason gave excellent service since he was on the ball with everything! He always came by and asked if everything was OK. He was also on top of refiling our drinks as well! The salad bar is also great since everything on it is always fresh! Me and my family highly recommend going to Ruby Tuesday!

The food is ok. The portions are small in comparison to competitors in the are and what is charged. The service is very very very slow. Items are on the menu and when you order, finally are told they are not available. What should happen prior to giving us the menu, tell US what is not available. It’s not good enough to say the menu is going through a makeover but give us a menu that is missing items. Whatever… I won’t go back because I don’t like slow service, overpriced mediocre food and a menu that doesn’t make sense when you order.
So let me update this again! Ridiculous and no change! Please… Do not care if I have a free meal again! Will not patron this location. Wow! There is no excuse for food to take almost one hour to arrive at the table! It’s not that busy. Not even a biscuit before the meal bc they are not ready! How long does it take to make a burger with fries! I mean … Come on!
Oh food came! Raw chicken wing. Thanks! Seriously … I haven’t wrote a bad review like this. Read my stuff. I took much time to put this out there. No manager came and a fresh order given even though I didn’t ask for it and said to remove it from the bill instead. Nope back on bill and new order wings. Listening skills are important. I’m all set.

Great salad bar. Not too bad prices. The food is good quality but the steaks seem to be fatty. The drinks are good.

I used to come here often years ago, but stopped when I noticed that the portion sizes were gradually getting smaller. After seeing advertisements about Ruby Tuesday’s recent improvements (and snagging some decent coupons from a friend) I decided to give them another try.
My husband and I were seated right away, though it took at least ten minutes for our waitress to come and take our drink order. It took another ten minutes for our waitress to come back with our two sodas and then we quickly placed our dinner order before she disappeared again. While waiting, we noticed several things that were falling short of normal standards. There was a large collection of dead bugs scattered across the windowsill (which is at table level), the staff seemed to clutter at the door chatting instead of actually doing their jobs (including what looked to be the manager), our napkins were basically paper towels and the table cloth was dirty and ripped up. I understand this may be a little nit-​picky, but this would turn me off at any other sit-​down restaurant.
When our food came, my husband’s chicken tenders and ribs were hot, but my tacos were lukewarm. My tacos tasted and looked like something I could have easily made at home and were nothing special. My husband enjoyed his meal, but said that though the ribs were cooked well, the seasoning was very salty.
The last time we saw our waitress was to pick up our plates and give us our check. She never came over to check up on us or to refill our drinks. Honestly, she was very nice when she spoke to us, but was MIA our entire stay. As we were leaving, the staff lounging around the front area just stared at us as we left.
Ruby Tuesday’s really should not be advertising an «improved» business when it looks like they’re actually stepping backwards. I understand this one particular restaurant and their crappy service shouldn’t reflect other restaurants in the chain, but I refuse to waste my time and money trying to prove that wrong.

We like this joint it is cheap fast and comfortable. I have been to other ruby’s and they are all similiar. The thing that seems to set shelton ruby’s aside is the service. The waitstaff always seems a step above most other chain restaurants. The place is always clean the food is fast and yummy. And an unlimited salad bar. Sign me up for that. So when you go to ruby’s you know what to expect. Fortunately shelton ruby’s goes just a lil bit above expectations.

So the food is ok but the service is always pretty bad. It always takes forever to bring the food out even if there are only three people in the restaurant. The waiters are friendly but it really shouldn’t take so long to get the food… especially it they see you have young children. It is ridiculous.

The staff at this location at every nice. Food is slightly edible at best. This is why I dislike chain restaurants. My fries were burnt when they came to the table. How do you burn fries, dry them out then serve them? #ohwell

We used to go to Ruby Tuesdays because the menu had some healthy sides to go with lighter meals. They got rid of mashed cauliflower and grilled asparagus and added grits? Now you can have steamed broccoli, yuck and boring or green beans which are not good at all. They do have spaghetti squash, but I have tried it in the past and it was not good.
The food is not as good as it used to be. The 2 biscuits that they give you have been shrunk to the size of a oyster cracker and was just as dry. We had ribs that were dried out and a lobster tail that had been split in two but the 2 pieces did not match? How did that happen? They were over cooked as well.
They got 2 stars because out server was really nice and attentive and our desert which was the Blondie was really yummy.

Came in on the 4^th, during the day. The crowd was small but service started out horribly. When the server finally arrived, she did everything in a timely fashion. I ordered the new seafood trio and paired it with spaghetti squash and a loaded baked potato. That was a good choice. The seafood trio consisted of shrimp on a kabob, a mini lobster tail, and a piece of fish (cooked to your desire). I chose blackened. My food partner ordered the bbq salmon with squash and the salad buffet. We were thoroughly pleased.
For drinks I tried the non alcoholic apple fizz which was refreshing, but then I discovered they had angry orchard, so I ordered that for myself and my dining buddy. He was pleased. If he weren’t I would have finished it myself. If I’m back in CT, I’ll certainly return to this establishment.

I have eaten lunch and dinner at this location a few times. Each time the food has been good. I haven’t had any complaints. The only thing I don’t care for about this location is that there are strange smells in the dining area depending on where your seated. Carpeting? Sometimes the wait staff seems to rush around, but overall service has been good. I really liked their old menu with the black bean mini burgers — I wish they’d bring it back…

I was all set to give them a bad review and leave my waitress a tip (find a new job), but they really redeemed themselves. To explain, my kids’ fries came cold and yucky looking and that was after waiting like 40 minutes for our food. Then my daughter cut into her burger and it was almost raw. I asked the waitress if there was a problem in the kitchen when she came back to see if we were ok and I showed her the burger. She said no not really and walked away. I was super aggravated and told my kids she would get like $.50 from me.
About 10 seconds after I said that, the manager cane over and explained that he had dressed down the kitchen for what seemed to be an epidemic of returned food… especially fries. My daughter had actually received the wrong order. Smh.
Well all went well in the end! The manager comped my daughter’s burger and allowed me to use my free burger coupon for a burger to go. On a side note, my fire roasted spaghetti squash was amazing! I didn’t miss the carb laden pasta at all and the veggies were crisp and flavorful! I’ll definitely be back!

It’s Ruby Tuesdays… you know what you going to get and love them for it.

My wife and I had lunch here on Saturday 3÷2÷13. My wife had Turkey minis (Turkey sliders) and I had Ruby minis (Cheeseburger sliders) with a pomegranate ice tea. We both got the salad bar. The place was busy but we sat right away. Service was good. The restaurant seemed run down and needs a facelift. The salad bar was ok. I seem to remember there being more to choose from. They had this processed meat that was cubed. I remembered them having ham. The sliders were good and they came with fries. I liked the pomegranate ice tea. They had other flavors too like mango, blackberry and peach. For happy hour they had $ 5 top shelf martinis at the bar. So for a quick bite to eat and a cheap drink I’d go back after a hard day shopping.

We usually go there for food when we are in the area. I love their salad bar and free biscuits. I enjoy the Avocado Turkery burger, Prime Cheese Burger, Salmon Florentine, & Barbecue Ribs. Their spinach artichoke dip is ok, and I like their spicy chicken quesadillas. Also, their Red Velvet cupcakes are pretty good. The atmosphere is super relaxed, and the service has always been great.

This restaurant has the most awful service from waitress Jennene. I expect better from Ruby Tuesday. Where is my complimentary cheesy biscuits? I specifically asked for no bacon on my cheeseburger, yet here it comes. Then when I ask for another, they simply remove the bacon. She also brought us the wrong check. Food was fine, but this was the most awful service experience.

This is another one of those chains that is a solid performer. Everything here is done well and the service is excellent. Prices are decent and there’s plenty of seating and parking. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but if I’m in te area with kids or people who don’t like to take risks with their food, I’m perfectly fine with Ruby Tuesday’s. My favorite is the monstrous half pound burger (because where do you find that?) but everything, including their salads (did I just recommend a salad?) are very well prepared. If you like this style place you should definitely give it a try.

I have been to this Ruby Tuesdays 3 times. The first time was horrific. the second time not terrible. I went last night and it was awful again. I ordered ribs, half rack of two different varieties. I got the wrong side, and after informing the waitress the ribs were the wrong varieties (only three to choose from, so one was wrong) she informed me that it was fine, and incorrectly identified the two types on my plate. My date ordered a steak, and it looked just awful. This place either has a terrible kitchen, and poor service, or terrible both.

I don’t normally review chain restaurants. Everyone knows what to expect when they walk into a chain restaurant. They’re all the same. But my most recent trip to Ruby Tuesday pleasantly surprised me. They recently updated their menu and added tasty new options. After living in Maryland for a year, I found a new appreciation for crab cakes. But not just any crab cakes. They need to be made well– meaning all crab and no cake, I hate when crab cakes taste like breading and not like crab. Rudy Tuesday’s crab cake was delicious! Cooked perfectly, loaded with crab, very little breading. Yum, yum, yum. Ordered the crab cake sliders (minus the bun) with the salad bar and had a delicious $ 13 lunch… with plenty of leftovers for dinner.
