I drive 40 minutes out of my way for one reason: getting my hair cut by Nick. Best mens barber by far in the state and maybe even further. I used to pay the same amount or even twice as much in Manhattan for much lower quality haircuts. He gets it right every time. You won’t be disappointed.

I love Aqua Salon and Spa, everyone is always friendly and attentive. The hairdressers are knowledgable and friendly. I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in and didn’t feel like a stranger walking into a new place. I like that my hair dresser has the same hair type as me and can make recommendations that I feel comfortable with. I highly recommend them for all your spa needs.

I love Acqua Salon and Spa. I have been having my hair done there since they opened and I am always ecstatic with the results. The whole staff is friendly and accommodating. I especially like to schedule appointments when I have special events because I know they will make me look my very best. My daughter is getting married In November and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do her look, my look and the entire wedding party. If you want the very best service Acqua Salon is the only Salon to schedule an appointment with I promise you won’t be disappointed!

This place is great! I have been a couple times and the people are always very friendly and inviting. On my most recent trip, I finally broke down and got my haircut. I am usually really picky about this, so I usually avoid doing it for long periods of time. Angela was fantastic! The cut was exactly what I wanted and, even better, she styled it perfectly. Many times at other salons, the person will style my hair in a way that I would never ever wear it (usually poofy 80s – really?!). I really felt like she took into account how I normally style my hair (how I came in, asking me questions about using products, etc.), and it looked great. I wished I had somewhere to go afterwards! I would definitely recommend giving Aqua a try!

Aqua is truly the best salon I have ever been to. All the hairdressers are super sweet and friendly. They will always offer you cup of water or tea upon arrival, really making you feel welcome. I am loyal to Jasmine as she always listens to my indecisive wants and will recommend the best cuts and colors based on my face shape and skin color. I’ve never had a salon that I loved and returned to until I came here! Check out their website before you go, they always have special deals or coupons!

I can only say wonderful things about Aqua Salon! The staff is really qualified and talented. I have short hair and Karen has been styling me for the last couple years. It is not easy to find someone good with a razor and as a women, it can be challenging to look different when you have a pixie cut. Karen has been very receptive with my demands (I can be pretty peculiar about what I want) and I always left the salon very happy. As a matter of fact, I get stopped very often by strangers (women in general) who ask me where I get my hair done!
I also get my children’s hair cut at Aqua. There is a discount available for kids on Wednesdays. I’ve had too many horror stories at the barbershop, it is well worth taking them at Aqua and the price for them is reasonable.

Great place. Friendly employees. my daughter had a perm and loved it ! I get my massages there by Lynne will never change.

I originally picked this salon based purely on convenience/​proximity (I’m from out of town and was heading to a wedding), but was blown away by the service I received.
Cat was exceptional — she jumped in last minute to do a brow wax and a blow out, and I could not have been more pleased. I’m very particular about my brows, and she did an excellent job. The blowout was one of the best I’ve had in the past several years — perfect volume, movement, shine, etc. Not only did the blowout/​curls look amazing when she finished, but they stood up to the humidity/​rain that afternoon, and held all though the wedding ceremony/​reception. I had awesome second day hair, too — can’t ask for much more than that. Not only was the final product fantastic, but she was sweet, fun and talkative; I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment and my time with her.
The receptionist was a doll too — super accommodating.

I’ve been going to Aqua Salon for probably 10 years. My stylist, Christine F., is the best. I’m one of those customers who comes in wanting something different done to my hair, but with no ideas, pictures, etc. Christine always comes up with either a new cut or a new color and I’ve never been disappointed. The salon is immaculate, the owners hip and up on the latest trends, and the staff are always pleasant and accommodating. I’ve never had a problem parking and like that I can book my appointments online. I highly recommend Aqua Salon in Shelton, CT.

The staff here was excellent. I received full-​service treatment all day as a birthday gift. I had a fabulous European facial, manicure and pedicure with Misty. Then I went over and had a top-​notch hair cut and highlight from Cat. All in all a great experience and I cannot wait to go back. They even bought me lunch because I was there for so long. It was the best birthday gift I have had in a while.

CAT is absolutely amazing! I am always treated like a princess when I am there. The service from the moment you walk in is fabulous. They take their time to make you feel like there is nobody else that is more important than you, that alone makes it all worth it. I always walk out 100% satisfied and feeling amazing! I highly recommend the salon, especially Cat, she is amazing at her job and she is a lot of fun! :)

It is not easy to find a a decent salon here where they have experience with cutting Asian-​type hair. I had one bad experience at another salon also in Shelton prior to visiting Aqua and because of that it took me a while to want to try a different place again. However, I needed a haircut badly so I thought I’d give it a shot (it was about a year since I last had my hair cut!).
The salon is located in a corporate park in Shelton inside a fancy urban-​style office building. We parked in the common garage and it was only after visiting the salon that I found out it has its own parking area so quite convenient.
Th salon is very nicely decorated albeit being small but cozy.
My experience was quite pleasant. I used their online appointment system as a new visitor and it was very simple and straightforward to use. I was assigned to a lady named Karen by the automated system. She was very pleasant and friendly. And I could see that she has great skills. My hair was shoulder when I walked in and I came out with a nice short bob (layered and nicely bobbed lol). I got such great compliments the next day from my family and coworkers!
I will definitely return to Aqua for my next appointment :)

I’ve been looking for a salon in the area after having a horrible experience at another place. My friend told me about Aqua so I made an appointment for a hair cut to check them out. I am so glad I did because they are awesome! Not only is the salon gorgeous (and clean) but everyone is so nice there and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. My cut came out awesome and they even had time to squeeze me in for color even though I didn’t book it. I swear my hair has never felt so soft lol. I am so glad I found them!

Exselling professional awsome staff. Really knows there stuff. My grandmother, mom, and sister something to you guys just as I do. Pedicure and manicure staff are amazing. The hairstylists really know there stuff. A+++

I have been going to Aqua Salon for years now. I have either Adrienne (awesome, current, trendy) or one of the owners Todd (God Todd) cut my hair. Seriously the best haircuts i have ever had. They are professional and friendly and listen to your wants and needs and take the time to review your hair and what would be best for the shape of your face. Their products are top notch, and the place is beautiful and clean. The prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for and with some absolute nightmares i have had to save a couple of bucks it is not worth it!!! I never worry when i am in their hands and know i will be leaving a happier and prettier woman:) Thank you so much Aqua!!!

I have been going to Chris F. for about three years and I love, love, love Aqua. Everyone there conducts themselves in an amazingly professional manner and my hair always looks fantastic after I’ve been there. I have and will continue to point people in the direction of this establishment. The price is right and they are wonderful.

Went there because they were running a special on botox and dysport. Got ripped off. The «Dr» seriously diluted the product, I watched him do it. Stupid me, I didn’t question him about it. Results: spent over $ 200.00 and 4 weeks later have nothing to show for it. Would never go back!

My fiancé suprised me with a day at the spa. The spa was very clean and neat. I started off with a pedicure and it was very nice. I also got a manicure and the woman did a great job except she cut my hairs really short when I asked for her to keep them long. Also they had my massage scheduled after my nail apt. As I was filling out the paper work for my massage I smugged my nail and had to get it fixed. The woman just put clear nail polish over it instead of fixing the nail. My massage was very nice and extremely relaxing for me.

I have been going to Marco for about a year and a half, and I love him. First of all, the salon is beautiful and the staff at the front desk are so friendly. I decided to go to this salon in Nov of 06′ because a co-​worker recommended it. I called to make an appointment for a full foil and cut, and they scheduled it with Marco, who is one of the owners. I was so happy with my first appointment with Marco; he is very creative and comes up with new ideas to cut and color my hair. I am always satisifed when I leave the salon, and I get tons of compliments on my hair. I think the prices are fair for Fairfield County, but I do not mind paying to have great service. I have gone to many different salons in the past, and I usually find that after you have been going to one stylist for a few months, they tend to get lazy. But Marco has continued to give great cuts, he colors my hair beautifully and I am always happy with the results. They also sell the L’Oreal Professional haircare line which I love. It is a great salon, and my mom now goes there and she loves it too!
