KMC Dermatology- Shawnee

I started by seeing a physician’s assistant for acne treatment. The medication requires blood work after 6 months. I just assumed the blood work was all that was needed, not an office visit as well. If there was a problem, I would have had no issue with an office visit, but everything was going well. When almost out of my medication, I called to setup the blood work and make an appointment. Unfortunately with my schedule and the PA schedule, there wasn’t anything for another month and a half. I went in and did the blood work in the meantime and showed up to my follow-​up appointment yesterday. They «could not» refill my Rx until I saw the doctor– even though the blood work was done and normal two weeks ago! I saw a different PA and the blood work wasn’t given to her, so she had to go back to see the results. It was a complete waste of an office visit, especially because she was not prepared with the blood work results and had no idea why I was coming in. She told me during the visit that she wasn’t going to be with the practice any longer– and neither will I. In addition, the front desk staff is AWFUL. They are not friendly or welcoming at all. Would not recommend this office!
