Tri tip sandwich was pretty good. Don’t care for seasoning on fries. Iced tea is terrible. Floor was sticky, bathroom stinky.

Nice place, clean and comfortable seating, and friendly staff. Our food was delicious. I had the chile verde quesadilla and my boyfriend had the pastrami sandwich and both exceeded expectations. However, and why I gave Katie’s 4 out of 5 stars, is because both of our orders were our second choice. My boyfriend wanted the French dip and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and they were out of both. Regardless, if we’re ever back in the area, I would eat there again. Chile verde was amazing, just like the other reviewers said.

Went for breakfast. Ordered the chili verde and eggs combo. Service was a little slow took a long while. Portion sizes and prices were great, but food was bland with no flavor.
I hear the burgers are the thing here so I might give this place another chance for lunch, but breakfast… nope. Way better options for breakfast even though the prices are higher. I’ll willingly pay more for tastier food.

Visited Katie’s while going through Selma on business. Wife and I both had breakfast. Wife had the Ham and eggs special. Tasty and well worth the price of $ 4.99 with toast. I had Katie’s special omelette. Full of meat and veggies. I like my food piping hot and that is what I got. We both had the hash browns which were perfectly crispy. Our server was bright and cheerful and very helpful. Kept our drinks full which is Muy Importante to me. We met Katie the owner and had a nice chat. Look forward to eating there again in the future. Want to try some of the lunch and dinner items.

Arrived at Katies kitchen about 8:35 in the morning. Our order was taken shortly after. Husband wanted a sausage patty eggs, hash browns and wheat tost. He was asked 3 times after he ordered by the waitress what he wanted again. We were the only ones in the restaurant. About 9 and big church group came in. about 15. Still waiting for our order, no water, only 1 cip of coffee. About 9:25 our order came out. Husband had Sauceage links and NO toast. After finishing I went to get the tcket and the floor has some kind of film over it that my shoes had NO tread on it. it was so slippery. We to the waitress we were not very happy and somone needs to clean the floor up. And she said I am about to walk of my job right now! NEVER AGAIN!

Finally decided to try this restaurant and I have to say… Best decision ever! I’m hooked! Food is amazing, the prices are very reasonable, and the people there are nice, friendly, and down to earth. They make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend their fried ice cream, it’s awesome!!!

Service was phenomenal. It’s spacious with a roomy layout. No bumping people to get by. For sports fans, There are 2 big screen tvs And they have a huge variety of beer. I had a side salad which was really a generous portion. My main course was the steak sandwich. The steak was seasoned well, cooked to order, good size, and the seasoned fries were crisp outside but soft inside. I’m totally satisfied!!! Oh, and they have a seperae area to book for parties! I’ll be back with my family!

Three strikes you are out. My first visit was within the first month of them opening. A party of 4 arrived at 11:40 for lunch. At 12:15, still no food we asked for the food to go because we needed to return to work. only to wait 10 more min and get back to the office late. As I settle for having to eat between office activity, my fist bite is into a raw burger. I tossed it and nibbled on my fries. I believe in giving a place a chance, and the benefit of the doubt of being new and getting their groove. So I returned a few weeks later for a to go order. Ordered the burger again. Returned to the office, this time the burger is cooked but WAY over seasoned and tasted awful. So again I get fries for lunch.
At this point not sure I will return, but a friend talks me into one more try. I venture in again. The lunch service is still slow. I ordered a crispy chicken salad that was okay, and small. So I will not return and do not recommend the place to anyone. Not when there is a very good burger in the same shopping center. I give two stars because I did like the fries.

The food here is ok. Nothing spectacular. I went in wanting to try one of the specials which is hamburger fries and a soda for 3.99 but found out it was for take out only. So had to pay normal price which came out to $ 7 and some change. The hamburger was above McDonald’s but under in-​n-​outs. I didn’t like the fries. Don’t get me wrong the people working there are really nice but being super nice isn’t going to change the fact that the food is not that great. I don’t think I’ll be going back. In-​n-​out is cheaper and taste better.

Had lunch with my sister. Good service, quiet atmosphere. Very clean. Could use some décor on the white walls. My philly cheese steak had an unpleasant aftertaste, almost fishy. The fries were very very salty. I didn’t enjoy my meal. My sister liked her cheeseburger but agreed the fries were much too salty. I may try this place again, as it is very convenient.

Owner Katie is super nice. Excellent customer service. Fish and chips came with LOTS of fresh crispy fish. Glad I found this place on my way back from Yosemite to San Diego.

We love this new restaurant in our town! The food is consistently good, the service is fantastic, the prices are very reasonable! We are treated like family every time we visit. They run specials nearly all week long. Is certainly a must try litlle place to go.

The Country Fried Steak was the real deal. The steak isn’t frozen and we heard them pounding it shortly after we placed our order. Deep fried to perfection. The ½ lb. burger was cooked medium as ordered and was good as far as local burgers go. Definitely going to try more here in the future! Great service.

Katies kitchen is new to the area and has quite a selection to choose from with affordable prices and specials. Many specials for only $ 5. Today I had a tritip sandwhich and fries and was satisfied with my choice. The meat was cooked very well and fries seasoned perfectly. Not only this but the staff is very friendly and conversational. I was told however they also serve breakfast and can accommodate groups for meetings. I will definitely be using this restaurant for one of our next staff meetings.

We cannot say enough about Katie’s kitchen in Selma. The food is delicious and the service is great. Everything is cooked fresh. No frozen foods. Her specials are amazing. My husband and i have dined there 5 times since we discovered it a week ago. Thursdays is the New York Steak, baked potatoe with fresh veggies for 9.99. We were skepitcal thinking that at that price how good could it be. We should have known that after enjoying everything else this would also be good. Man it was so delicious. If you have not dined there yet, my husband and I highly recommend it. Selma needed a good restaurant like this. Prices are very affordable Thank you Katie’s Kitchen!!!

New restaurant in Selma. Breakfast is great. Great prices. Try the made from scratch biscuits and Gravy. Can’t beat the menu prices for all of there meals. They don’t rip you off with $ 2.00 + cup of coffee like the other breakfast places do. Im glad our seniors can have a great meals for a low price. Lunch is great. The French fries are hand cut and made from scratch!!! Best French fries in Selma!!! Burgers are hand made and not frozen. Quality easily found here. They have a $ 5.00 lunch special during weekdays.
Katie’s is a bit out of the way, but it’s worth the drive. Service is fast and friendly. Keep up the great work.
