Was in Secaucus on business and Decided to give this place a try. Absolutely some of the best food I have ever eaten. I will always come back when I do business in Secaucus. If you love great Italian food, then you can’t miss here.

Incredible meals. The meatballs are stunningly delicious. The Italian sausage and grilled chicken in a light lemon sauce is memorable. The place is cash only but there are many ATMs around the area in walking distance. Service was wonderful.

Came here last Sunday night. There was one young girl waitressing. She must be new because she gave us water jug without glasses. When we asked for them she returned with 4 glasses instead of 6. It took another 10 mins for her to bring the remaining two glasses. Service was very slow considering there was only one other table of 4 in the whole restaurant. We all ordered the same dish — clams linguini. It took an hour for chef to make it. When I asked the waitress about our food, she said it takes a long time because it’s made from scratch. She gave us some salad and I went out to get more wine for the wait. Sadly, the pasta dish was mediocre and was not worth waiting an hour for. My guests were not happy.

I love this place. It is a great date night spot. BYOB. Amazing food. Janice says the specials like an artistic performance.

I just finished the most amazing homemade ravioli. This place is teeny tiny, and the food is outstanding. Currently, they are cash only and a BYOB. I didn’t have cash, but it smelled so good when I first walked in that I didn’t mind the short trip to the ATM. So glad I got my cash and came back to eat.

Fantastic find! Great rustic Italian food… it is a slow dining experience but that is purposeful so relax and enjoy.

My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time last Friday and we LOVED everything about the restaurant. From the atmosphere, to the generous staff, to the amazing food… it was the perfect experience! We will definitely be coming back for another date night!

Stopped in for dinner last night and was very very pleased the food was out of this world. The rice balls were to die for, the service was excellent and all the dishes and specials were very tempting. I’ll be back many times now that I know this little gem is out there.

Food here is delicious, but they are CASH OnLY!!! Unilocal, please correct this. It’s very inconvenient to eat your entire meal then have to go to an atm.

Quality… Freshness…Quantity…Hospitality…Great service! Trattoria Da Pino’s chef has some kind of KAAAARAZY culinary skill! He creates Italian deliciousness… consistently and with a super-nice personality! The interior vibe is intimate and casual and visually warm. The service is upbeat and extremely accommodating. TDP is most definitely an Italian restaurant MUST-do! :)

What they don’t tell you on their web site is you have to make reservations at this place. The food is made-to-order and tasty. Not your typical Italian sauce — something different, with big chunks of fresh tomatoes. expensive — for special occasions.

This place is absolutely fantastic. My friends and I have been going for years. Great-tasting food, huge portions and great prices to boot. The service is fantastic and warm, and its BYOB. We’ve gone and had family style, or order individual entrees. I recommend getting any of the specials. I had a pork shoulder with the most delicious and tender meat. Their 3-types of ravioli is great. We always order the mozzarella en carozza. If you leave hungry, its your own fault! Make an appointment, as its a small place.

Dont go here for lunch! They aren’t open when they say they’re going to be. Thanks for wasting my lunch period and parking money. I despise restaurants that dont follow their posted hours. I show up to work and leave when im supposed to, I expect the same from a business. This place had clearly been closed for 2 hours before theyre supposed to be, if they ever even opened at all today(a Wednesday, a normal business day for them.)

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Secaucus. I’ve been here several times now. It’s one chef and a standard menu plus a specials menu depending on what the chef feels like making that night! The entrée comes with a salad and delicious bruschetta. My favorite is the clams in white sauce over linguini and my bf recently had a delicious pasta amatriciana that was off the specials menu. BYOB and the service is always warm and friendly. Be prepared to spend a bit of time there and call to make reservations as space is limited and sometimes rented for private parties. Cash only.

I don’t even know where to start! The service was fantastic!!! Friendly and so helpful! It’s a warm and relaxing place. The bread and tomato is so tastey but our meals were amazing! My husband got the clams and linguini with white wine sauce, forgive me for not knowing the proper name but all you need to know is that it is absolutely delicious! I myself got the chicken breast with mushroom sauce, fantastic! But what topped the night off was the most amazing, delicious cannoli! I can’t even describe how good this was but I know I’ll be buy for another one soon!

Fabulous flavors, better-than-homemade Italian fare and a whole lotta hospitality await you at Pino’s. My girlfriends and I were originally planning to go to Lorenzo’s after reading Unilocal reviews, but were forced to change plans since they were entertaining a private event. We are so glad for this fateful change because Pino’s definitely ranks in our top 5 of Italian eateries that we have come across(including Roman eateries). I don’t recall the exact items we ordered, but all 5 of us enjoyed what was on our plates and one another’s. The prices are slightly more expensive than regular in-town spots, but the quality is far superior. We will definitely be back in the future!

Im a little bit disappointed with the food, my husband and I just moved to the area and we were looking for a good Italian place. After reading a few Unilocal reviews i though this was going to be a great place and we decided to try it but we didn’t have a good experience. I ordered fresh fusilli with four cheeses sauce and shrimp. The sauce was extremely oily and heavy and they forgot to add the shrimp. I was expecting the sauce to be like the Alfredo sauce consistency but most of the sauce was oil. The Lady who took our order explained to me that the oil on the pasta was an extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany. She was really nice and polite and said she will bring the shrimp on the side then i got some tasteless shrimp that it seems like they just got them out of the water with some parsley and black pepper on top. I couldn’t eat any of it. My husband didn’t like his dish neither, i think the dish presentation is extremely important and my husband’s dish didn’t look good at all. The ladies running the place are very nice but the food is not what we expected

Wow what a cute, tiny little place. It feels as if I was instantly transported to Italy. It is an authentic place that doesn’t boast about being authentic, which is something I really like. The food tastes so homemade and exceeded all my expectations. It is definitely a place worth checking out. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is a cash only establishment, which is not a big deal but still a little disappointing.

I finally got to try this place on a quite Saturday night before Father’s Day and I was glad I did. Like others have said, it’s very small so make reservations. We had the artichoke hearts and mussels as apps after the free bruschetta which were great. The small complimentary salad was just right with this amazing Tuscan olive oil, that we just couldn’t get enough off. For dinner the 4 of use had pasta arrabiatta, lasagna, a medley of ravioli in different sauces, and the pork chop Pino. The waitress Janice and Diane and now new friends of ours and we will be back, if you haven’t been, you should.
