Oasis Bar & Grill

The food and service were great. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes great Italian food.

Great old school neighborhood spot. I make it a point to eat lunch here at least twice per week. The minestrone is like no other. It’s a meal in itself. The Insalata Caprese with grilled chicken with that minestrone is a perfect lunch and you’ll find yourself eating a light dinner because it’s a lot of food without the guilt. But if you want really good Italian food then I can’t find a better place in the area than Oasis. From the parmigiana sandwiches to the pastas (the bolognese is awesome) and the daily specials, I always leave saying how great the meal was. Oh and the burgers are excellent too. One of my favorites. And finally, there’s the people. Giovanni and family always treat you right and they always spend some time talking with you about sports or current events or whatever comes up. Whether you’re here for a meal or sitting at the bar for a couple of good drinks, Oasis lives up to its name!

Wow, what a meal! Had the veal piccata with pasta side. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the veal was large, tender and perfectly prepared and the lemon caper sauce was fantastic! The bread served was great and the service was fantastic. On top of all this the veal dish was only $ 16, an amazing value.
I will definitely be back.

What a wonderful surprise. Excellent service, Friendly atmosphere and fabulous food. We shares Tortellini Bolognese and Linguini and Red Clam Sauce, both excellent. We definitely will return.

Very good ! For a small out of the way hole in the wall it was better than some high end restaurants. Food was good, hot and served with a pleasant smile. I really don’t give 5 stars to any place but this place earned one. Extremely nice waitress and the chef/​cook came out of the kitchen to see how everyone was enjoying their food. Haven’t seen that in a long time anywhere.

Awesome spot. Just ate here for the first time and the bacon cheeseburger was fantastic. Giovanni the bartender knows how to pour a Guinness. Although Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, it’s close enough to the outlets to consider going to for lunch.

Whenever in Secaucus, I «vacation» with my stuff in my storage locker. This comfortable neighborhood place is conveniently nearby. Have not been here in 5 years (under prior restaurant name) so happy to return. Well poured Guinness, decent burger and excellent service from Giovanni. Will return and recommend to those who need a nice, convenient local bar and grill.

Seafood was very fresh and the service was excellent. The pasta dishes were wonderful but the fried Calamari is the best I had in Secaucus in 20 years perfectly cooked and seasoned just right,

Great place to eat. We arrived early for dinner and received great service and great food. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. The food was great. The service was extremely friendly. It’s a family owned and operated Italian style restaurant. We will definitely come back again.

Found this place on Unilocal!Wonderful food, great prices. Had the white clam sauce with linguini, fantastic! Others had chicken Parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs. Not a single complaint, all plates scraped clean. Would highly recommend!

This is the kind of place that you could drive by hundreds of times and never notice. A friend of mine who has never steered me wrong when it comes to food or drink let me in on the secret. If you are staying at the nearby hotels by Route 3 this is worth the short drive! Use your GPS it is in the middle of nowhere!
The décor isn’t much… it’s a bit of a hole in the wall kind of place. But the food is a great surprise… far above the bar food you would expect in this setting. The very friendly service and atmosphere makes for a great experience! The neighborhood bar prices make it an awesome bargain. There is a nice tap selection. If your a sports fan there are plenty of screens in the bar. If you aren’t there are tables in the back dining room. Thanks Dave! What a great find!

Food is consistently good, prices are very reasonable and servers are friendly. I would very much recommend for lunch or dinner.

Excellent food and service.
This local place is run by a nice Italian family. They are always welcoming and very courteous. The food is consistently good and the bar area is friendly and comfortable to watch a game or just relax after work. Will return here.
