Probably my favorite restaurant in Sebastopol. Family-owned & operated their food is D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!! The outdoor creek side bar is a slice of heaven. Don’t forget to grab one of their unique desserts on the way out.

We LOVE it here! The food and drink, the atmosphere, the service and people are fantastic. The food, beer and wine are often locally sourced here and menu is constantly changing, which is something I always appreciate and support. Breakfast is great, I love their quinoa bowl with poached eggs and extra avocado. However their dinner is our new favorite in West County. The VML wines are delicious(especially their pinot with the raddest label i’ve seen). I always go for the seasonal local catch and my man alternates between the pork tenderloin and the burger with all the extra fixings. The vibe is just right — the creekside patio is incredible on a warm summer evening and inside is perfectly intimate and cozy for chillier nights. We have yet to check out their music nights but plan to in the near future. And the service is really something that always brings us back. From Sarah the talented owner, Trish the warm hostess to all the wonderful servers this place keeps it consistently top notch. How lucky we are that this little gem opened up just down the road from us. Keep it up, Fork Roadhouse!

Seriously the best food around. I have never finished a whole meal twice. Came here on my honeymoon now at our 1 year anniversary we decided to come back. Food is awhile wait, but totally worth it. We came from sacramento, and would be happy to drive back here again. Prices are very reasonable as well.

I wish I could give greater than five stars!!! Our waitress was beyond accommodating and fantastic!!! The way she tended to us seemed like she was the owner of the company. I have a very weird elimination diet that I’m on right now and was going up to the Santa Rosa area to visit my sister and for us to volunteer. Eating out became an issue but this place by far was the best tasting food and also the most accommodating there’s a reason why they are so highly rated. Thank you for being human and also giving wonderful service!

We were first group on patio for dinner, yet when we left, after 2 of our party had not received an entre and everyone else on the patio was gone it was 2 hours later. Service was beyond hot horrible. We went inside and got the manageress x 2. First time she a glitch in the order software was why our appeitizers had not come out. We all found her hostile. Second time when only 3 entrees had arrived she, again in a hostile manner, said it was karma, some table every few days has bad luck and it was our turn. We eat out a lot and this was worst service we have ever had in either Sonoma or Napa Valley. Attitude was unbelieveable. t A simple apology would have gone a long way. To admit problem and really not offer to fix it(except to deduct price of drinks) is silly.

The Fork is an absolute gem with great service, fresh garden-to-table food with creative and delicious flavor combinations. We stopped for dinner and are happy we did! The seafood chowder is one of the top 5 ever for me. The portions are satisfying and you won’t leave hungry. The wine list is very nice with a range of prices to fit all pocket books. Nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. I highly recommend this place as a go-to place.

This is a magical place for brunch and lunch, and they are starting to toy with dinners too. Highly recommended. Today I feasted on their special French toast, drizzled with chocolate and served with a side of the fluffiest butter ever to be whipped. They switch this up all the time so there are always different variations to try.

So I am a little torn between 2 and 3 stars here but since there were quite a few errors with the dishes I opted down to 2. It wasn’t a horrible experience but I’ve definitely had better and there is definitely room for improvement. Two of my friends ordered the polenta bowl which they enjoyed but when they brought out the dishes they were the wrong dishes completely, then they brought out one of them and my other friend had to sit there and wait for hers while the rest of us ate. I ordered the Tuscan Bean Dish which although it had good flavor the eggs were totally wrong — I ordered sunny side up because the poaching machine was broken. The eggs came out hard fried with crispy edges — my least favorite way to eat them. However, seeing my friend having to wait because her dish was wrong I didn’t feel like sending them back so I just cut off the crispy hard fried edges and ate what there was of the overcooked yolk with my dish. I was also disappointed that the dish was lacking in the meyer lemon taste that it was supposed to have in it. It wasn’t a bad dish but just nothing special and didn’t taste like it was described on the menu. Also, the chalk board had limeade listed on it but when my friend ordered it they said it was ‘seasonal’ in the summer — then why not erase it from the chalk board during the winter? :-\ On a good note, the bacon was crispy and cooked well. The service was friendly and somewhat attentive. It’s also a cute place with a nice feel to it. All in all, would I make special trip? no. If driving by and hungry I might stop in for a bite. :)

Delicious breakfast sandwich and the creekside patio is delightful. Pork belly tacos have a great flavor balance and are very filling. Overall nice feel to the place.

All these two and one star reviews — you people are a business’ worst nightmare. You leave a one or two star review(which seriously effects a business’ reputation and average star rating) for the STUPIDEST reasons. «Oh, outside seating wasn’t available» — ONESTAR. «Oh this place is great but their French toast is kinda mediocre» — TWOSTARS. «Oh I had to sign an iPad instead of a receipt» — TWOSTARS… You’re all ridiculous and irritating. You shouldn’t be allowed to have a Unilocal account. 1 or 2 star reviews are reserved for GARBAGE places: this is NOT one of them. Given every other review of this place is 4 – 5 stars, you are clearly the people who have no concept of a good business and think the world should cater to your every whim. ANYWAY… This place is awesome. Lovely, fresh local food, great friendly staff, adorable interior, the polenta egg bowl is fantastic and the coffee is strong! Everything I could ask for in a brunch place.

On the way to central Sebastopol, we stopped off at the much hyped Fork Roadhouse. On the outside, this place really looks like a simple barn. The inside is also simple, but cheerful. You queue up, order, then take a seat. Self-serve all you can drink coffee already got me thrilled. People are so very warm in Sebastopol. One young lady had to use the bathroom, and left her baby with a table full of nice strangers that were already admiring the tot. On to the food. I ordered the pork belly fried egg tacos(two) and a side of fries. The sauce was divine! The pork was so moist. The fried tasted like they were grown out back, and just peeled. This was the best breakfast food I’ve ever eaten — so flavorful, not bland like your typical bacon and eggs brunch spots. My partner had a breakfast sandwich. We argued over whose was better. I spontaneously got a bloody nose(too much free coffee). All in all, It was excellent!

My sister and I went for Sunday brunch for my birthday. Aside from the wet, muddy, mucky parking lot the place was overall fabulous. And the food was so delish. I could have easily ordered several things on the menu despite numerous food allergies. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. A total win win. Loved it!

While vacationing in Bodega Bay for a week, we stopped here for Sunday brunch. The wait was not long and we were seated outside at a large table(we were a party of 8). All I can say is that the innovative menu and offerings exceeded anything I could find or experience in San Francisco in terms of quality organic cuisine and cost. We were there for two hours! Highlights we tried: Kale salad with goat cheese, Korean short ribs, breakfast roll with eggs, bacon & arugula, and our RAVE favorite, the fries. I am not usually a fan of fries, yet these were freshly cut, and cooked perfectly. Another plus — the catsup looked to be homemade and natural. The staff is friendly, accommodating and efficient. Enjoyed the Celtic Harp player while we ate. And we were so impressed and charmed when one of the owners stopped by our table to chat. Can’t wait bring some friends here on our way to a Sonoma getaway!

I heart having this little gem right by our home! My only complaint is(drum roll please) the«french toast» so sad. i’ve had 2 friends order this for breakfast and both times was blown away by how underwhelming it was. It’s so simple and delicious to make IE brioche, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, fruit and whatever else your little heart desires. bake it and viola DELICIOUS moist and f*king easy and hella cheap! when a restaurant can’t hit a home run on such a simple and easy dish it upsets me and my sensibilities. so dearest Fork, please re think your awful dry flavorless french toast and next time maybe strive for that culinary home run! Ps. and a bit skimpy on portions. Skimpy when it comes to food is always disappointing, we want to feel spoiled, loved and full dammit :) ok now i’m done! Peace

First off, paying for your food first is not that big of a deal, but strange to ask for the tip when signing with your finger on the touch pad before you receive any service or your meal. Food– Beef brisket hash. Was pretty darn good, it’s a small dish, meat had a great flavor but was at least 50% fat, I mean blubber! Green basil-ish sauce was perfect, the dish was very oily. Grilled chicken salad. My daughter barely spoke and the bowl was empty, she said it was good. Grilled chicken sandwich with fries. I tried a couple bites… taste like a grilled chicken sandwich. Service was.ok. Dark haired girl with glasses and some tats on her arms, not too friendly or much of a talker.

Fork Roadhouse is located on Bodega Highway a few minutes outside of Sebastopol. You really can’t miss it, as the building itself is bright red and a big sign announces its presence: like a real roadhouse! I had read up on this place on Unilocal when I was heading to Sebastopol for some antique and flower shopping; it seemed to be the perfect place to escape from all these commercial endeavors. And true to my hopes, as I sat foot into Fork yesterday early afternoon, I knew right away that I would have a great time: a harp player in the garden playing soothing music; children playing peacefully; and friendly staff recommending their favorite dishes on the menu. I really regretted that I had to drive still, as I saw my neighbors drinking a delicious-looking pint of golden beer. Following the hostess’s recommendation, we’d ordered the beef brisket tacos and an order of the mushroom-kale omelette. The latter was alright; a solid three stars. But the tacos were amazing: juicy and tender beef, a good amount of cheese and the perfect amount of sauce.(We’d originally planned to order the pork belly taco, but unfortunately they were already out of them by the time we arrived.) All in all, I’m very happy with my visit to the Fork Roadhouse. A few side notes: — they accept cards — be prepared to wait a little for your order; as the food is freshly cooked(we waited about 30 minutes) — you can bring your dog if you’re sitting in the back yard

A breakfast sandwich may seem like a simple, straightforward compilation of basic ingredients: bread, eggs and meat/cheese. So while I depend on Fork to make delicious food, I wasn’t really expecting anything all that interesting. Luckily, I was wrong. Perfectly cooked fluffy scrambled cheesy eggs, arugula, mayo, soft, but crunchy(grilled?) bread, I added(nitrate free!) bacon, my guy got avocado. Lucky me, I got to eat mine while it was fresh and hot, but even though my rather finicky gourmand man didn’t get his until hours later, he declared it «delicious even when cold». I’ll save the description of their delicious house made scones for another update…

Pork belly is quite the rage these days and this newish breakfast/brunch place in Sebastopol serves a mighty good pork belly taco. I grew up eating roasted pork belly with minimal enhancements(roasted and seasoned mainly with salt and pepper and eaten with rice), but I do appreciate all the things people are doing with this flavorful cut of meat. The slaw, grilled veggies, crema, queso fresco and the egg on top of the taco made each bite a delectable one. You have to eat it with a fork and knife. There’s no way to pick it up and stuff it in your mouth without getting it all over your clothes. I ordered two as I didn’t know how big they were going to be. The two were very filling as they each had a generous serving of the meat! But that’s all good ’cause that meant I was ready for some wine tasting! One would probably suffice if you’re planning on eating lunch in a few hours. The hubby ordered the brisket hash which was the special of the day. As soon as heard the word brisket come out of the server’s mouth, he ordered it right away. Alas, I didn’t get to taste it, but the hubby reported that it was good. It looked good. We both had coffee. They serve Equator Coffee, so that is another plus in this place. They serve mimosa too. Service was very good and friendly even though this is not a full service place. It was nice and warm already at 10 am, so we chose to dine alfresco. They brought water and flatware to our table, and our food arrived maybe about 10 minutes after we sat down. We will have to come back to this place next time we’re in town! Good food and very reasonable prices!
