I mean, it was the airport Wendy’s. Employees are trying to get through customers fast, not leave a lasting impression. We got our food, and we got out. My spicy chicken burger was tasty and there was nothing wrong with it. Worst part of the experience was the god awful smell I kept smelling when we were at the counter.

Since my usual food spot at Sea-Tac Airport, Anthony’s Fish Bar raised their food prices significantly, I went looking elsewhere in the airport for a bite. I decided on Wendy’s which is one of the more reasonably priced eateries in the terminal. The restaurant is located in the far back of the stretch of businesses located in the Central Terminal food court on the left hand side. They do have a small value meal, but the restaurant seemed to be touting their sandwiches and combos primarily. I noticed the North Pacific Cod sandwich was on special due to it being Lent season so I decided to get the combo. I noticed that they offer a Honest tropical green tea so I asked for that as my drink. The total rang up under $ 7, though it didn’t quite equate with the supposed $ 5.99 price so there must have been an upcharge for one of the items in the combo. Each register has a waiting area. So if you make your order at the left register, you wait for your meal on the left side. Was quoted a 4 minute waiting time since I guess it takes a little longer to make the cod sandwich. Though my order took longer than that. The cod sandwich was alright. Basically tasted like a Filet-O-Fish sandwich with the tartar sauce on top. The accompanying fries were pretty good. They were nice and crisp, though you need to grab several packets of ketchup since each one has just a small amount. The tropical green tea was refreshing albeit not that cold even though it had ice. Overall, my meal at Wendy’s was okay. If you are not looking to spend a lot of money on a meal at Sea-Tac, I would recommend this spot since their prices are a bit better than most of the other eateries.

Waited(along with 15 other people who had been there longer) 10 minutes for a breakfast panini, which turned out to be grilled white bread. Don’t come here for breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast and had a less than desirable experience. First off the cashier could barely speak English and I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. I hate to be that guy, but it’s irritating when I have to be a translator when ordering some fast food. I was starving, it was early in the morning and I had been up for 24 hours so at that point I didn’t care and just went through the hoops. I ordered two sausage burritos and a sausage biscuit and it was a sad state of affairs. The burritos were tolerable but the sausage biscuit was worse than something I could get at a 7⁄11. The biscuit was extremely dry like it had been sitting out for a while and the entire thing was incredibly salty and disgusting. All the items were only a dollar a piece but I instantly regretted the decision and should have gone to McDonald’s. Maybe it’s just their breakfast menu, but it was just terrible. I used to be a big fan of Wendy’s but after a couple of terrible experiences in the past year I don’t think I will be going to one ever again.

Food is decent, service… what service? Xajja was rude & didn’t try to resolve my pricing issue. Damn shame because this is a cheaper airport option.

This is truly one of the worst Wendy’s my family and I have ever been to(and we’re usually big Wendy’s fans!). Recently at Sea-Tac super early for a 6am flight, everyone was hungry for breakfast and the line at the nearby Starbucks was unduly long. So we stopped by this Wendy’s to get breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast burrito and orange juices. First thing we noticed, the ladies working behind the counter were obviously VERY unhappy to be there: no «good morning», «hi», «how can I help you?», no smiles, minimal eye contact. The lady who took our orders and rang us up was actually scowling. We were brusquely told that they were out of the breakfast burritos(really? At 5am?). After paying, we scooted to the right side of the counter to wait for our meals, along with all the other shmoes waiting(there were perhaps 6 or 7 couples or families waiting. This made for a crowded and congested area to the right of the cashier). The wait was long — a good ten minutes. And it was very disorganized, as people’s coffee orders, once made, were placed to the left of the cash, on the far left side of the counter. All of us waiting for our meals were told to stand to the right. So people picking up their meals(once they were eventually ready), or those who needed their coffees sooner, had to criss-cross through the waiting and ordering crowds to get their coffees. It was a cluster-f. Once we got our meals, they were okay, but not worth the wait or the coldness of the counter-help. If there were ANY alternative open for breakfast at this ungodly early hour, we’d have gone elsewhere.

I went to the Wendy’s this morning. I got the hot tea which is 1.41 $, but after I gave two dollars to the cashier she didn’t give the changes. My friend got a delicious orange juice, but I guess it’s hard to make a terrible orange juice.

I came to the airport really early so I decided to get something refreshing to wake me up. I got a large orange juice which was super good. My friend got hot tea which was apparently really hot but they forgot to give his 59 cents. 3 stars.

Had just got to the airport all depressed as I was going home. Decided to get something to eat. There was not much of a selection so I choose Wendys. Had two hamburgers and french fries. The service was quick and the food was good. As far as fast food goes Wendys is not bad.

Look, let’s face it. In Seattle there aren’t too many Wendy’s around here. I have to be honest, Wendy’s is my go-to if I really want fast food. So naturally when I was in the airport this is one of the first places I will consider. The problem is this particular Wendy’s sucked! I was not pleased with the staff. They took forever to bring out the food even when there weren’t too many people in line. They also forgot my fries and gave me the wrong burger. When I did get my fries five minutes later, they were stale. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be coming back to this particular Wendy’s again.

Always a stop for me usually on the way home but tonight I stopped to grab a double order of nuggets. My favorite and it hit the spot. Although McDonald’s was just around the corner they just don’t hold up to Wendy’s nuggets. And This Wendy’s usually has the latest burgers.

This is a review of Wendy’s in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This was a rather mediocre experience. The staff was very disorganized and not overly friendly. The food took a little over ten minutes. For fast food, that is not particularly fast. Honey Fried Chicken Biscuit — I quite liked the chicken. There was a nice sweetness from the honey. The biscuit was just ok. It was more crumbly than flaky. Seasoned Breakfast Potatoes — In my opinion, these were just not very good. They were not freshly cooked. The seasonings were over-powering. They were limp and very heavy. I did not eat them. There is quite a bit of seating and the area was generally clean. Receipt: $ 5.03(including a bottle of water) Overall — The food ranged from ok to not very good at all. The service wasn’t very engaging or very quick. The price was right though. This is especially true if you factor in the fact it is located in an airport. In a pinch, I would try this Wendy’s again. But I would order food from their normal menu and skip the breakfast options. After all, when in an airport, there are only so many choices.

I have never been so mad at a fast food place before until I ate at Wendy’s in the airport. My family and I were running late to our plane and it was lunch time. Our solution was to grab food at Wendy’s and take it on the plane. We have 2 kids in our family, so we ordered 4 burgers, one for each of us, along with fries and a couple drinks. Again, we went to Wendy’s for convenience and speed… We received our food shortly after we ordered and basically grabbed it and went to the gate to get on the plane. Once we were on the plane, my extremely hungry family, already stressed and tired from running around the airport, expected to have a nice meal for lunch. Well, that didn’t happen. Our order was missing 2 burgers, the fries were half filled in the container, there was no catchup or napkins and the burgers we did receive were smashed and very unappetizing. I couldn’t do anything about it other than wish I had checked the bag before I left Wendy’s… but then again, I went there for speed and convenience, so I didn’t really have the time. Apparently, they didn’t have any time either to get the order right. I don’t expect much from a fast food place, but also didn’t expect to pay for food I did not receive and have to tell my family that we didn’t have enough food for lunch for all of us. My wife and I of course gave up our meals for our kids to eat. Anyways, I’m done with this review and done with Wendy’s. It was a huge let down.

I ate here twice, on two separate layovers coming and going on a recent vacation. Being that I was stuck in the airport for hours and had built up quite an appetite, I was glad to see those big red letters welcoming me to burger heaven. However, that joy was quickly challenged. The barely audible young woman who served me not only didn’t give me eye contact, but seemed actually pained to serve me. I’m not sure I’ve ever met a more depressed person in all my life working in fast food. But then I came back a week later and met another, completely different, young woman with exactly the same disposition. No eye contact, great discernible torment revealing a deep-seated misery. As if that wasn’t bad enough, one of the burgers I had was actually cold. I’ve never had a cold burger before, but the thought of returning it made me extremely uncomfortable.

Not sure why I am writing a review for a Wendy’s but whatever. While waiting for my flight at the SeaTac airport, I decided to go with Wendy’s as most restaurants were a little too expensive for my taste and I was still feeling really fat. and broke. from my Seattle foodie trip. This is probably one of the more casual restaurants, along with McDonald’s in another area. I got two value items, a chicken wrap and a bowl of chili… which was good and of course cheap. One thing to note is that Wendy’s at SeaTac is located next to the observation deck, which is totally beautiful, especially with super wide windows, rocking chairs right by the window, and art installations around.

it’s Wendy’s. But in an airport. When I had a hankering for a frosty. Winning. And they made it in like two seconds, while I was still putting the change in my pocket from ordering.

Given it’s airport setting, a low level of competence is expected; anything resembling service is always a bonus. I really wanted a spicy chicken sandwich. The line itself and ordering was perfunctory and uneventful. However, I ended up having to wait 10mins to get my food. It was like they actually prepped the chicken out back while I waited for my order. On the plus side, the woman directing the food did ask about my sandwich a few mins in. The sandwich itself was wrapped with the care you’d expect of a hyperactive 3 yr old. They also managed to crush the bun in such a way I first mistook my sandwich for a griddle cake. The condiments that were applied, were managed to be squirted on at all settled towards the back of the ‘burger’ and the tomato was so small I strained my eye looking for it in the sea of mayo. I also appreciated the small chewy/slightly crunch bit of tendon I managed to savor. On a brighter note, the fries were almost uniformly seasoned and fried. Now before I get drawn and quartered for my refreshingly honest review; please do note that I have frequented Wendy’s… well frequently in the past. This must rank at the very bottom. The saving grace is that there is an incredibly annoying yipping dog whose owners refuse to quiet. Their ears must have been burned out of that frequency and so they are totally oblivious. It made it easier to bear the travesty of that spicy chicken sandwich. But I digress.

What’s there to say, it’s Wendy’s but it’s at the airport. If you live in the heart of town comme moi, you don’t see fastfood until you leave town, which is most likely at the airport. And what better way to deal with the stress of the TSA than with fries and a frosty. Get one… Get two actually.

I know that this is just an airport fast food place, but I always stop here when I am in Seattle no matter what because it makes for the perfect start for my way back home to the Bay Area. I get that the prices are jacked. What did you expect from an airport? They will charge you as much as they want, and you better gladly give them your money or you will starve waiting the 4 hours in layover or whatever. The thing that gets me about this place is that the food is just super tasty, and the coke is super refreshing. How could you refuse the chicken nuggets or a burger before that 3 hour flight you are about to take? Just think about if you don’t eat right now before your flight, while you are in the air, you will be thinking and wishing you stopped to eat here.
