It’s a small restaurant and not in centralized area. The soup is great and price is reasonable. Highly recommend deluxe one!

I’m giving this a 2 because I’ve had decent Phở here(bad ambiance though), but the Bubble Tea was the worst I’ve ever had. Apparently the only option was the slushy kind made with chalky tasting artificial flavoring, no tea at all, and the most disgusting tapioca ever. Also, the wait was at least 15 minutes. I’ve learned my lesson.

I was so excited to try this place the other afternoon. After reading the great reviews, but I found the place just to be just average. Their phở broth was a little off I thought, it didn’t have the usual flavor of the soup. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and was expecting them Vietnamese style, with lettuce and pickled dakon and carrots and fish sauce. What I got was deep fried Americanized Chinese egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce. A bowl was $ 7.50, so pricier than the average bowl of phở I am used too, but I see that as a trend here in Seattle, phở is a little more expensive here. Thumbs up for a self serve veggie side dish bar though. You get your own bean sprouts, limes, chili, and what not. Could’ve been better, but the service was friendly and parking is easy.

I make it a point to find the good, cheap Phở places where I travel and this was the best I’ve ever had. The broth was rich. The meet was good. The idea of having a little bar for the condiments was perfect and everything was fresh. Owner was friendly. All good! (A great Thai Tea also!)

You can pick which toppings to put in your soup! Phở is awesome, staff is super nice and I’ll definitely keep going back!

I’ve been coming to this establishment for several years now. Sadly of late they’ve gone from a 3 to a 2 start establishment. The broth, which by any measure is the heart of great phở has in the last 2 – 3 visits been completely tasteless and cloudy(a cardinal sin). I mean really. No hint of star anise, no herbal scent what so ever, and while I’m finding it hard to even type this. Not enough salt. In a town with so much competition I hope they’re able to improve. Magnolia has so few good spots these days. I hope they can up the bar.

I have to applaud the wonderful husband and wife team of Young and Chang Lee, owners of Time for Phở… I recently moved into the neighborhood and discovered their restaurant to be conveniently located but more importantly, the food was very tasty and fresh!.. When I decided to have a housewarming party, I asked them to cater the food and all I can say is Wow!!! The food was delicious and plentiful. Mrs. Lee(Chang) personally prepared a soup, salad. gyoza, eggroll, shrimp roll and sushi course. Followed by Terriaki chicken, stirfry, beef broccoli. Everything was cooked to perfection, ready on time and my guests loved the food. I recommend them and will go back for my next party. Thank you for helping me to make my party memorable!

The phở here is not that great, it gets the job done but it does not taste authentic. But besides that the service is well and I love how we can pick our sides from a bar like bean sprouts and onions.

It’s definitely just an OK spot. Compared to other phở places, this one is for sure lacking. However, it’s really the only one in Magnolia that I know of without having to hop across the Ballard bridge where phở options are plentiful. When I just don’t feel like driving, here I am. The portions are tiny and prices are not that cheap for what you get. The taste is simply ok, nothing to write home about and nothing too bad that I can’t stomach it or won’t come back to because it’s close to home. I’m genuinely surprised by how many people rate this place higher because of the open veggie condiment bar. Green onions, yellow onion, bean sprouts, and basil cost next to nothing purchased by bulk, especially if they buy them from Asian grocers. Therefore, they can definitely afford to have this«amazing“open veggie bar.

I like the self-serve ingredient bar. The phở noodles were great and the restaurant was clean. There are many tables and the restaurant seems to have been updated fairly recently. Good Magnolia spot!

Updating my previous review… They no longer charge you for using a card. Although I’ll never get their banh mi sandwiches again, their phở and vermicelli bowls are pretty good. The last few times I’ve been here, the husband has taken my order and he is much friendlier than the ladies I’ve met here.

It’s my favorite phở place and I’ve been coming since we moved here in 09 and have yet to find a better place. The broth is flavoeful and the eggrolls remind me of my best friend’s mom’s which is to say they’re perfect.

Time 4 phở is great on so many levels. I love the help yourself topping bar, it makes the phở experience creative and easy. You can create your own masterpiece. The broth is delicious and they usually don’t skimp on meat. The only thing I don’t Like is the added .50 cents charge for credit/debit. The owners are great people and deserve more business’s from the already slow plaza in Magnolia. Come here for a wonderful meal!

I really enjoy this restaurant! Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve never been disappointed. Clean environment, bountiful toppings for your soup at an open bar which you can harvest as much as you like. I order the chicken Phở which has a pleasant taste to the broth and never stingy on the protein. I’m not a Phở connoisseur by all means, but I’ve been around the block and have sampled some that easily turned my stomach. The Phở here is adaptable in flavor of your preference; it’s not too bland, nor too overpowering. Easily, however, my favorite is the chicken breast Teriyaki, which I get often as take-out with a side of dumplings. Well-cooked chicken, and plenty of it! Only complaint would be once in a while there’s a stinginess with the sauce, but I simply ask for extra now which they comply. Love the mayo dressing they use for the salad. Greens always taste and look fresh.

This place is within walking distance to my house, which is great but also dangerous, haha. Their serving style is different: you receive your order of phở with only meat and noodles, then get your veggies from their toppings bar. The couple of times that I went, I noticed that some of the toppings changed, but they still have your basics of basil, onions, bean sprouts, limes, jalapenos, etc. I’ve had the chicken phở which was good. The broth is a little bland on its own, but that may be because I always doctor my phở up with tons of sriracha and hoisin sauce. When I did that, I thought it was great. I’ve also had the beef phở — I didn’t care for the broth as much even after I added sauces, though it wasn’t bad. I’d just rather stick with chicken. The serving size is pretty hefty, they serve lots of noodles and the right amount of meat. I love being able to choose my own toppings so that I don’t waste anything. My husband likes the sandwiches, though the first one he ever had was assembled poorly(all of the meat was on one side of the sandwich, and the veggies and sauces were on the other). The owners are friendly, but they only serve you food — you’re responsible for bussing your own table and refilling your drinks. Also, there is outside seating, so feel free to bring your pup!

Got the special. Ice cold beef tendon in my soup. A big turn off. Ruined Phở for me for awhile.

This place does things differently. I would say mostly better. First there is a phở toppings bar. All of the veggies and herbs are in one place and, unlike most phở places, they have everything. Sliced white onions, green onions, peppers, sprouts, basil, and other condiments that are often missing in phở joints like fish sauce are here. Sriracha and hoisin are still found at the table. The broth here is different than most that I’ve had and was intriguing. I’m not sure that it’s its dah besterestest, but it is enjoyable. Their fresh rolls are missing pickled carrot(because then they would have to be made fresh), but the peanut sauce makes up for it. They also have bahn mi and milk tea. As a dispensary has opened across the street, this place should be in business until the end of time.

Went here on 8÷8÷2013 Strip mall /decent lighting. Clean bathroom. The men’s room is a storage unit. I wanted rare beef/tendon/tripe phở and they accommodated all for $ 6.50. There is a $.50 change using credit card. I like that they have an all you can eat condiment bar of — i.e. basil /bean sprouts /limes… etc.
