The best chicken bahn mi ever! Lots of pickled veggies and sauce.

The hidden secret is the Bahn mi sandwiches. Esp the pork one! Other dishes are okay– but just average. They will do punch cards for the sandwiches. They should just focus on these items! For the sandwich itself id give it 4 stars. Rest of food drops it to a 2 or 3 star!

I came in for the banh mi. It’s a reasonably priced banh mi sandich in Ballard. Their sandwich satisfies, and is quick. This place offers what you’d expect at a good value. I look forward to returning and trying out more of the menu.

Their shrimp curry was awesome! Pretty spicy for me and I definitely paid for it later. Seafood in Seattle is awesome and this was a great find while on our bike ride around town.

Parking is off Street so you may have to walk half a block to eat there since its in downtown Ballard. The food is excellent I’ve had the phở, their noodle dishes and rice dishes all very good. They’re not cheap but the food is well worth it. They can be a little slow. In all it’s a good place to eat Vietnamese.

Had the pork Bahn mi again for the 4th time. Don’t know about the other food but they have solid Bahn Mi.

I’ve been coming here for years. Earlier this week I had something new: Spicy Tofu Sate with Rice Noodles. It was a huge bowl of noodles, tofu and veggies in a reddish coconut broth, reminiscent of Thai food. Freaking awesome.

I ordered the special with fresh spring rolls.($ 9.50) The teriyaki chicken was good, but I wish they gave more. There were about five or six pieces of chicken. The sauce they use is delicious so I ate most of the rice that was under the chicken. But the fresh spring rolls… dissappointing. I was so excited because they were large, but the taste was off. Maybe too much basil? Definitely too much of something, because I couldn’t stomach eating the rest. I’ll be back to order something different… or even the same thing, minus the spring rolls.

Indifferent customer service, quality of food was below average, and one of items we ordered for take out was left out. Do not go here.

My favorite lunch spot!!! I really enjoy having lunch at Ann’s Teriyaki since they’re fast and the food is good. I especially like their stir-fry wide noodles(#22B) with tofu and their banh mi. They have plenty of tables to sit and the people are friendly enough. Thumbs up!

This is a good not great teriyaki spot. Nothing bad nothing spectacular. The phở spot next door was way more busy. Peppers couldve been cut thinner. .every thing was fine with me. It’s not a secret fantastic hole in the wall to take a date. But a lonely rainy Thursday during a blah football game picking up Xmas presents it could’ve been worst. Leave expectations very low and be surprised it’s a B-.

I love this place! We have moved from Ballard but whenever we are in the hood we make a stop here. The Tofu lemongrass and mock chicken dishes are super yummy. Veggies are crisp and fresh and My kids think the phở is the best in town. This little mom and pop restaurant has been a favorite for over 20 years. I just wish I could make it there more often.

The kitchen is kind of slow considering that there was only one other table in the place that was occupied. We got 2 beef phở and it was weird because they didn’t ask what size and I couldn’t even find it on the menu. But the cashier said ok and wrote it down so… I’m not sure what other kinda of phở they even have. So I guess they only offer one size since it was never asked… Anyhow, when it came out, the broth was kind of a murky grey color and did not look appetizing at all. The taste was… mediocre at best. Too sweet and the broth was a bit bland which made the sweetness even more apparent. The sandwiches are pretty good though. I’ve had the grilled pork banh mi several times and would say they are much better and I would definitely rather get a banh mi over the phở here. The teriyaki wasn’t anything special. Just kind of your average run of the mill, yoshidas teriyaki sauce flavor. Not bad. Just not anything special that I couldn’t make at home if I wanted to.

I got genuinely friendly service! The man was patient and kind. The chicken pad thai was excellent. I strongly recommend this place.

I have to say that I like this place. The portions are a little smaller than most teriyaki joints, but that’s ok — the flavor is great! I also just got a Bahn Mi sandwich(pork) from there today and it was $ 4.95 including tax! The bread was soft and fluffy, with a great outer crust. I’m in love with these sandwiches right now and have had them all over the city — who knew such a good one at such a good price was right here in Ballard!

It is by some miracle that this Chinese-Vietnamese-Thai? restaurant still exists. The fact that Ann’s Terrible Yucky cannot even manage decent customer service when they eff up people’s orders casts serious doubts to whether or not Ann’s will stand another 20 years in Ballard. PRO’S: –Cheap(under $ 10 per entrée) –Various Asian Foods(If you cannot decide on what you want, but it might fall under the Pad Thai to Phở range?) –Lots of seating… because usually empty, or just filled with people getting takeout –How often do you get to see a Phở restaurant directly next to another, superior Phở restaurant, with actually good Phở restaurants in spitting/smelling distance? I tell you, it’s like seeing a unicorn. CON’S: –Unable to correctly take one’s order –Argues with you when you say, «Hey, we’re dining in and you only brought us half of our food… Will you fulfill the other half of the order we made?» –Food is bland, and not appropriately proportioned. When they say in the menu that they’re healthy and will give you a day’s worth of veggies, expect two bunches of basil instead of a decent portion of meat. –Air conditioner on «fan» because it probably ran out of frion years ago –SUPER sticky seats and tables. I look forward to the day when Ann’s is replaced by some hipster Costa Rican fusion deli.

I ate here about a month ago and have been meaning to write this review sooner about the experience I had. I have only been here once and can highly recommend Ann’s Sate coconut noodle soup! Kinda reminds me of Tom Kha soup, but with a thicker heartier stock, tastes almost like peanut sate sauce was added and stewed tomatoes. Brilliant! Absolutely loved it and I do plan stop in Ann’s next time I find myself in Ballard.

I come here almost every other day for their teriyaki and it’s delicious! Their chicken teriyaki with brown rice with sauce on the side is my go to meal. The chicken is juicy and not dry like other places. One o the best brown rice I’ve had. It’s never too dry. I’ve also had the pork teriyaki which is super delicious. If you’re looking for a tasty healthy take out meal get the chicken teriyaki with brown rice, sauce in the side and just use sriracha as sauce instead!

Best Bahn Mi outside of the I.D. The grilled pork is a perfect, cheap substitute when the line is too long at Paseo’s or they’ve run out of bread or it’s the dreaded month break.
