Honestly the food isn’t bad, thats not what the problem is, its the service. The people who work there try and pack you in the back while waiting for a «large group» that NEVER shows. We have been there many times and every time they do the same thing, No one ever shows up and the tables sit there empty.

The menu is phở and only phở. Simple. Done well. Hot and generously portioned. Super fast. Lots of noodles and meat. Broth is flavored very nicely– not too salty or overpowering– just right. The chicken soup broth is especially light and healthy tasting. Perfect for a rainy Seattle evening(which means it’s perfect all the time ;) The bonus is the lovely and unexpected little bundle of cream puff goodness that arrives promptly at your table along with the bean sprouts, limes and basil sprigs. :) I eat the cream puff as an appetizer but some more disciplined eat it as a desert ;) it’s really delicious, and apparently fresh made and a signature of the Phở Than restaurants. They’ve got a nice selection of teas and vietnamese coffees as well but if you’re looking for banh mi, vermicelli, or anything else this is not the place. The place is very clean and nice. Convenient spot right next to PCC. Overall solid choice for quick bite of phở with no frills but you get a delicious bowl of well done phở and a free cream puff! :):):)

Great value, big portions, free cream puffs, and you get your food in 1 – 2 minutes. All the ingredients are very fresh and the staff is friendly. Especially good when it’s raining or cold outside!

My friend took me here and it was okay. I guess I’m spoiled from having home cooked ph from a restaurant in Costa Mesa, CA, and these guys don’t taste as authentic. Perhaps they do make their own broth but it doesn’t seem like it. It was good. But it did not wow me. I don’t want to mark them down any because everyone I talk to loves them. Might just be me because I repeatedly had the best ph in the world!

This is my favorite Phở restaurant in Seattle. I have at least one bowl there each week and never get bored! The price is moderate, servicing speed is amazing, and soup is always hot.

This place is ok for lunch. The quality of the phở is ok and they are quick and cheap. Nothing special but it’s really the only decent phở place in Fremont, so I often go there for lunch. Does not compare to the phở broth at other Viet joints but again, we are in Fremont and this is good enough. Servers are always very friendly.

Prices went up from their unbeatable, pretty much the same pricing as any other phở place now… Mediocre service. But I keep coming for their very consistent tasty phở with complimentary puffs, quick servings, and great locations

Really happy to have found this place in Fremont. Perfect spot for Phở on a cold day. That’s all they do, but they do it really really well. Best Phở I’ve had in the Seattle area at this point, will definitely keep coming back more and more. They also give you a delicious custardy treat when you sit down and wait. Desert first? yes please. I get the Veggie Phở, extra noodles, and my gf gets the beef+tripe. We’re both super happy with either broth. Thanks for being here PTB! Highly recommend.

Better than expected! I’m used to the Than Brothers on University way. This place was cleaner, and they had a yummy vermicelli noodle dish that I hadn’t tried before. The beef and meatball Phở was a ‘small’ but came with plenty of noodles, and tasted similar to other Than Brothers soup. The vermicelli pork was yummy but different than the usual style, I think; the noodles were of a different variety(more similar to spaghetti) and it was more of a ground pork with red sauce. I liked the garnishes in the vermicelli.

I think this is the third phở restaurant I’ve been to in a week. I just can’t get enough of it. Ordered the Phở Bo Tai Chin. Regular size bowl came out and was bigger than some of the other places I’ve tried here in Seattle. Service was adequate. Phở broth was tasty and the portion size was great!!! I can hear the«mom» in the background yelling in Vietnamese the entire time eating… was funny listening to the kitchen while eating… not much separation as you can see everything they do.

I’ve been going here consistently, but I’m not sure I want to come back. They actually mess up a simple order AND asked for tip. The next time I came by was with some coworkers and there wasn’t any issues. After that, they told me that I did not pay the last time. But my coworker actually paid for us! Maybe I came to eat here too much. Why are you so bad at keeping who used to be a very happy customer :(

This is a very personal review in that this phở just isn’t my kind of phở. The broth is a bit too rich. It seems like it has hoisin sauce or was made with bullion cubes. I just prefer a lighter broth. The noodles can be kind of dry for my liking. I generally like my phở to be more on the soggy side. There aren’t enough veggies in the veggie phở! Where the carrots at? They also don’t have steamed tofu. I don’t usually want fried tofu. So that’s a bummer. But I do like the staff. They are super nice and get your orders real quick AND the whole situation is made better with a cream puff. I don’t really understand why you get a cream puff but I like it.

Nothing to write home about. Just your typical phở place. MSG is off the chain though because I was gulping down water afterwards like there was no tomorrow.

I probably would have given this place at least a 4 star rating, except for the fact that I had the unfortunate privy of watching the cook lady come out of the bathroom(that is shared with customers and workers) and NOT wash her hands and then go DIRECTLY into the kitchen! She was wearing those blue gloves and didn’t even bother to take them off to use the bathroom, which is the least she could have done, and then put on a new pair before going and putting her hands all over customer’s food — I mean, if she’s allergic to soap and water in this case. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this disgusted. This happened right as I was leaving or else I would have refused to pay. As it is I should have asked for my money back. If you like someone’s as$ in your noodles, then be my guest. Other than that NOMOREFREMONT Phở Than Brothers for me! Yuck!

Living so close to this place, we find ourselves coming here on a cold day or when we just want something quick and delicious. The staff is always super friendly and the service is quick! Large portions and I love the cream puff at the end of our meal :)

I’m no Phở expert, but I can certainly say mine was delicious. What I do know for sure is that this place is very organized and clean, the price is hella right for the portions, and the complimentary creampuff speaks volumes! Well, I dunno, I just love a free creampuff. I got the medium bowl, but i really could’ve gotten the small($ 5.95) and been satisfied(and beyond that, capable of finishing it). I recommend this place!

The great quality of phở that Phở Than Brothers is known for is back at the Fremont location! :)

Phở Than Brothers chain is my go-to for consistently delicious phở in Seattle. The phở is simple, but they have perfected it for vegans and meat-lovers alike. The broth has just the right flavor, and is easily sweetened or spiced with their sauces. They also provide just the right amount of fresh basil and bean sprouts to top off your phở. Lastly, I really appreciate the various sizes — their phở is so good I will eat whatever is in front of me so now I know to just get a small(still big) unless I’m starving! I do sometimes wish they served a few other dishes, but at least one new addition is the fresh rolls, which are served with a yummy peanut sauce. The free cream puff is a nice touch but really not my thing. Wish I could ask for something else free! ;) For a quick and authentic phở experience, this is the place to go. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and I love that I know it will be the same nice experience every time! Yay for phở.

Ate here tonight for dinner and overall it wasn’t bad. This was my first time here, so at first I didn’t know that you could just sit down wherever you wanted. The waiter was very nice though and directed us to take a seat wherever we pleased. For dinner, I ordered a large rare steak phở($ 7.25) and it was brought out very very promptly. In fact, the waiter seriously couldn’t wait to take our order. I almost felt a little rushed in having to place an order, but this didn’t affect the dining experience because we weren’t pressured to leave ASAP after finishing our meal. In terms of the food specifics: Noodles — 4 stars. They tasted like what I would expect. I did have to mix them in the soup for a little bit to un-clump them, but this happens fairly often so it wasn’t that big of a deal. As long as they aren’t too dry/chewy, it’s all good with me. Meat — 3 stars. I’ve been to places that have been more generous with their meat. I honestly felt like I was fishing for my beef after the first few bites. Perhaps this is why they have an «extra meat» option for $ 0.95. Soup — 3 stars. A little salty in my opinion. It definitely wasn’t bland, but also not too memorable. I’ve been to places in LA where the soup has much more flavor and I simply can’t help but make comparisons(it’s human nature!). You can tell when soup is genuinely good when most people on the table finish most of it. Lastly, one thing that is unique about this phở restaurant is that they give you free cream puffs! At first I wasn’t quite sure what they were, since they were brought out at the beginning of the meal, but after taking a bite I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted exactly like a cream puff, nothing special, but it was a nice touch to the dining experience.

A friend and I walked in here with more than half an hour to closing… and our reception was«we are closing, so you cannot stay unless you can finish by the time we close,» which was then followed by what sounded like hostile chatter to the person in the kitchen. Keep in mind — I HATE doing that. I hate walking into a place with less than an hour to closing — but phở is something you can eat relatively fast, so I was a little irritated with this less than gracious reception. We ordered, and our phở came out immediately. It was decent, nothing special, but we did get cream puffs as an appetizer, which was nice. We were done with at least 5 – 10 minutes to spare. A group of four came in minutes after we did and were given the same song and dance, which was even more awkward than the exchange my friend and I had with the staff. They stood around for a good 5 minutes before being allowed to sit down. It made me pretty uncomfortable. I have worked in the service industry and know how it feels to be exhausted, or have a bad day, and not want to deal with customers down to the last minute. But I was never allowed to turn someone away, especially within a half an hour of closing, so I would expect the same in return. Okay if you’re in a pinch, but you can definitely do better in the Fremont area.
