Senza Spray Tan @Salon 08

Raquel salon 08 in west Seattle. Rocks out a beautiful spray tan. She makes you feel so comfortable.

not that impressed — the experience was pretty bare bones, just a small room with some mats/​towels on the floor (which were full of tanning solution and stained my feet) and a mirror on one side. no extras of any kind — I’ve been to places that offer stickies to keep the bottom of your feet from getting stained and disposable thongs and hairnets, which are nice to have.
the technician was nice enough, but not all that friendly or warm and she didn’t give me any chances to breathe while doing my face, so I got a noseful of tanning solution. the color was ok, but I didn’t feel it lasted as well as previous tans I’ve had elsewhere (I’m on day 4 and it’s 90% gone already) and I had to do some additional scrubbing on my hands and feet once I got home to get rid of the staining, which I’ve never had to do before.
bottom line: It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

OMG! I have never felt more like a celebrity than when I was standing in that tanning room naked getting a personalized airbrush tan by Nicole. And its also something I never thought I would have been able to afford but it was!
She really takes her time and blends weird areas and checks you over before you leave. It smells GOOD which I thought was crazy and I was beautiful and tan for days. I was sad when my pale skin became a reality again, I will be doing this for any/​all events I find worthy. Birthday parties, holiday events, denists appointments? Whateves. If I was a celebrity I would do this once a week.
Plus my muscles all look better with a tan so I look like I’ve been working out!!!

Senza will give you that summer glow without that burnt smell on your skin.

I like that I can via text Nicole for an appointment or communicate to her by text.
I like that Nicole made me feel comfortable and giving me tips to prepare me with the best tan possible and maintaining it afterwards.
I like that she was a good listener and followup with me. She didn’t have to but fitted me in the next day to do a touchup because I hate tan lines. She is super professional that I felt so comfortable with her that I went nude in my touch-​up session.
I Love my tan. Nicole did an amazing job! It still lasting 2 weeks.
I’m so excited for her because in the same building she is moving into a bigger space which means more deals for us. Her prices are pretty good compare to the other places.
I have no problem recommending Senza and Nicole or going back to see her for another healthy summer glow appointment.

I am a white person. I am not a pink Caucasian person. I am the color of piece of paper, or vanilla ice cream. I used to have a Seattle Suntan membership, and though it was very good heat therapy, I always felt like I could feel the weird moles emerging afterward.
I don’t know that I can afford recurring airbrush tans. But this is definitely the most realistic-​looking tan for the pigment-​impaired. Nicole asked me some questions up front and decided on the right tanning solution for my complexion. («I think I’ll start with the lightest solution.») I stepped behind the curtain and got down to my birthday suit. I am totally cool with this — I loved the cozy rug under my feet and my resemblance to a naked lunch lady. (Hair cap.) We then worked from my toes to my face with the airbrush gun and the dapple brush. It was just like Toddlers & Tiaras! i.e. awesome. While it is slightly weird to hear trains go by and see guys in orange jackets outside the window, you will leave smelling and vaguely tasting like a coconut macaroon which will definitely put you in an amazing mood all day.
The location is a puzzler … when you arrive at the Activespace building, go to the elevator between buildings and buzz up to the suite. Hoping other people are more navigation-​savvy than I am.

So happy with Senza Sole Tan. Nicole did an awesome job and made me feel comfortable even though I was only wearing paper underwear.
The tan looked natural and lasted 2 weeks, no one would have guessed it was a spray tan. Loved the results! Thanks Nicole!

It’s a dilemma. My solution is Senza.
t’s hard to trust sunless tanning products, but Nicole (the owner) applies her airbrushed solution by hand and you end up with perfect beachy results every time. You don’t have to worry about looking like Snookie! Score.
Senza is located in a red work loft building located off the West Seattle Bridge. Buzz for Senza in Bldg. 1. The studio is intimate and very private for your session.
Nicole makes you feel very comfortable during your tan. She is very knowledgeable about the products and process. You can tell she’s a pro. My tan lasts about a week and a half when I follow her instructions for after care.
I’d recommend Senza Sole Tan to anyone looking for a great airbrush tan!

I heard about this business from a Tippr coupon. I had two upcoming weddings and my super fair skin has never done anything but blind people or burn. Well, if those fancy three year olds on Toddlers and Tiaras can get a spray tan, so can I!
My first experience and I loved the result! It looked so nateven and natural. I’m a week out and I still have color.
The space is small, but perfect for Nicole and you to get down to business. She was so sweet and very professional. I was nervous getting into my skivies for a stranger, but I was so comfortable that once we got started we were chatting so much I didn’t pay it a second thought.
This really was a great way to get a nice summer glow without all the streaks that my self tanners were giving me. Two tan thumbs up!
