I was addicted to their Pad Thai… I just don’t go there anymore because they raised their prices, that were already pretty high for the very small portions that are supplied. I can finish a whole serving of Pad Thai by myself, and I regularly can’t finish anything by myself… but then feel really bad for my boyfriend who finishes his and is still hungry. Because of their small portions for higher prices, we only order from Chaing’s Gormet now(just a few blocks away) …which unfortunately doesn’t have Pad Thai but their food is authentic and amazing and for me and my boyfriend, two portions at a better price lasts for dinner and a full lunch the next for both of us. Tons of food. Way more worth the money.

Delicious! The food was fast, tasty and spicy. I think the portions were a little small, but we will not let that deter us from ordering again.

We got there and ordered, we waited for about an hour and a half. ANHOURAND A HALF! This is Thai food we are talking about, thai is supposed to be fast. Then when we finally got our food we only had one of the four things we had ordered and it wasn’t even our appetizers. We waited another twenty five minutes and all of our food had finally come. The food was good but after the second bite we then realized that the food was incredibly salty, we were practically reaching for our water every other bite. After we had finished the food we had to waited another fifteen minutes before finally coming to the front and asking for our check. I will not be eating here again.

Pretty great — just moved to Maple leaf and have been to Phayathai 5 times. Their panang curry is great.

I have been to over 20 different Thai restaurants in my travels in Washington. This is the best Thai place bar none. They do what most can’t do and that is create a deep flavor without using loads of sugar. Its fast and the staff are awesome. I have eaten here over 30 times and its always been fast and tasty.

Delicious Thai food. Was visiting family in Washington and found this place on Unilocal.3* spicy isn’t very spicy, I would have gone 4 or 5, unless it is the fresh peppers, then go 1*. The girls all working there were so sweet and helpful. I ordered for takeout and the food was still piping hot when I got it home. The dining atmosphere seemed pretty nice as well. If I ever find myself in this part of WA again, I would definitely return.

I ordered from Phayathai Cuisine for the first time tonight. I was expecting something much better than I received. I ordered the Roasted Duck Curry and sticky rice and was pretty disappointed. First off, they didn’t even fill a whole container with sticky rice… they filled a small plastic baggy with like ¼ cup of rice and put it in the rice box. Additionally, the rice was dry, chewy and didn’t seem very fresh. Lets move on to the duck curry… There wasn’t much duck in my container, however lots of duck skin. And there was so much raw basil in the curry that it made it very difficult to eat. I won’t be eating here again.

Who knew that quality Thai food was hiding in a little ground-floor restaurant in a building on Lake City Way?! Well, I do! As of last weekend, that is, when I went to Phayathai for the first time. This little unassuming place has incredibly fresh food and, from what I could tell by sitting there for an hour, a thriving take-out business. We shared the green bean appetizer, which was delicious: fresh green beans stir-fried until crispy, with garlic and ginger. Not too oily, either, which is sometimes an issue with stir-fry dishes. My mother and I shared a green curry and Thai basil stir-fry, both of which came with perfectly cooked vegetables. My father tried the seafood salad, and said that the shrimp and calamari were good, but that the salmon and scallops tasted a little funny. Good to know for next time!

Tried to order delivery from them and they were unable to figure out where we lived! We are two miles away and they tried to charge extra because they couldn’t find us and were convinced we lived somewhere else. Will never even bother going here or ordering from them again.

I love coming here. They are always friendly and give you a cup of tea while you wait. The service here is always stellar, the food is delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. The food is always ready when I arrive or a short wait if I order in house. I highly recommend checking them out.

Totally unacceptable. Where do I start? Hungry family, don’t feel like cooking, let’s order Thai food. We order delivery and are warned it may take an hour, fine. 3 hours later no food! Meanwhile they decide they’re too busy, so they shut off their phones so they can not be reached. 3HOURS!!! They finally answer long after we’ve lost all hope and grabbed Thai from somewhere else. They are totally unapologetic and don’t see how not delivering an order is a big deal. They offered to take 20% off the order and send it as soon as they could. 3HOURS!!! We had eaten and it was now late so we passed. They should have comped the entire thing and our next but did not care one bit. They’re obviously used to this, so it was no big deal. Did I mention this had happened before? I’ve enjoyed their food so we decided to give them another chance after the time it took them 2 hours to deliver the food. Never again. I just can’t understand how a restaurant in this city thinks they can away with being so awful toward their customers. Hopefully it catches up to them soon and they’re forced to close their doors before others are afflicted with such a horrible experience.

We ordered food for delivery 3 hours ago and it never came!!! We tried calling multiple(at least 20) time to check the status of our ordered but it went straight to voicemail saying the mailbox was full. When I finally reached them their only apology was that they were really busy and said the food was on it’s way. No offer for any meaningful compensation(20% off our next meal) and I actually had to request that they refund my order from today. I’m shocked and disappointed. This is my favorite Thai Food deliver restaurant but it’s the 2nd time we’ve had the same issue. I will never order from them again.

LOVE their food! This is one of the better Thai restaurants in Seattle(IMHO). They have the BEST Pad See Ew… and I love their appetizers — DRAGONBALLS! :) My only complaint is that they gave us the wrong bag of leftovers to take home, which was a total bummer because I was really looking forward to them the next day. I have heard that they have that same problem with their delivery orders, although it has never happened to me. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed with their food!

This place is located in a tricky place. So they kinda share the packing lot with the apartment complex. That means parking is twice worst! But the food here is very decent. I have to agree with other that the pad Thai is pretty good here. I love places where they don’t just use ketchup for their pad Thai. The dish here is very good-as well as the portion size. I’ve also tried the string bean appetizer and its actually hit-and miss. Sometimes it’s way too sweet. Almost like they just coat with sugar. But I’d love to come here many times if I can for their pad Thai

I love this restaurant! The faculty at my school come here once a month for lunch. We put in our order ahead of time and the woman who works here always remembers which meal goes to which person. If I’m lucky I’ll make it to this part of town for an unscheduled meal too! The Phad Thai is amazing! I’ve liked everything I’ve ordered on the menu. I highly recommend the green bean wok as well. The sauce is delicious. The wait staff is fantastic and friendly. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because of the location and parking. The lot has limited spaces and it’s tricky to leave the lot if cars are lined up on the street. I recommend going at non-peak hours so parking is more accessible.

The Pad Thai here is INCREDIBLE. One of the best I’ve ever had – might have a shot at being the best, actually. And I’ve consumed a ton of Pad Thai in my lifetime. I always get the 5-Star Chicken Pad Thai, so that’s my standard for comparison. The flavor is so balanced(spicy, sweet, sour) and delicious, and you can definitely taste the spice. BF had the red curry which was very flavorful, and we shared the fried spring rolls which were perfectly crispy and filling. The only less than stellar thing about this place is the location and the limited parking space but regardless, this is definitely my new favorite Thai place.

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS, and the service can’t be beat! I go in during lunch hours(11 – 3) several times a month. It’s never crowded(I’m usually the only one there when I go in the later part of that time frame), and after asking for a seat near an outlet several times for my laptop(I work while I eat), the server automatically points me in that direction when I walk in now. I don’t get a menu anymore – she remembers what I usually order and double checks that that’s what I want again. I always get the same thing. pad thai… it’s so delicious that I can’t venture away from it. I’m a major weenie when it comes to spices, so I always ask for one star. When I went today the one star was WAYTOOSPICY. I mentioned it to my server, who immediately put in another order without any spice at all. She told me that sometimes their chili paste differs in heat, depending on the region they order it from, and that several other customers had also commented on how hot it had been lately. She also asked if anyone in my family would eat my entirely uneaten spicy pad thai, and boxed it up for me to take home! In addition to getting me a whole new order! With no hassle! My favorite thai place in all of Seattle, hands down. :-)

Super tired of the Thai in Ballard, I ventured out to Maple Leaf after a jaunt to Target. Phayathai had good reviews, so my friend and I checked it out. The location is awful. It’s right off of a busy street, the parking situation is really cramped, and there are not too many spaces. If you drive a larger vehicle(as I do), be prepared to hit the other car doors as you’re trying to get out. The inside was dead except for a few awkward«dates» and regulars. The food left much to be desired. The chicken in the Tom Kha soup was way overcooked, and we got a noodle dish that was basically glorified chow mein. Not a fan. Maybe I caught them on an off-day? But I probably won’t be back since it’s out of the way of where I live anyway.

Lets start off by saying if you are dinning in its perfect, food is amazing —— Having Never been to this place my roommate and I decided to order delivery for the first time since we had a bad experience with another Thai place on lake city. The wait for average about 30 – 40 mins we provided a phone number and a door code for our apt building, the driver called and said he couldn’t get out of his car and we had to come down(first time anything we’ve ever had delivered wasn’t able to bring it to our door), we looked past that and paid w/tip. The second time within the same week I decided to order on my own with delivery having a $ 20.00 minimum(free delivery) I order pad thai noodle and pad see ew with a side of spring rolls totaling $ 27.00 when I was only ordering for myself, no biggie. This time they were able to bring the food up to the door and I paid without a tip this time due to having order 3x the amount of food in order to meet the delivery requirement. 10 mins later I receive a text stating the following: 12066012503: we do no fee for delivery. You do no tip. Just let’s you know please dont order from us for delivery any more. Thank you I will never eat from this place again, since when is tip mandatory when there is a delivery requirement. I called the driver back and ask him how is delivery free if you are requiring a tip, his response was«I don’t drive to delivery and waste gas». Enough said.
